The Soul System in the Apocalypse-Chapter 539: Back to the Elf Race

Diana managed to get back to the continent where the elves were located in just a matter of a day. That was simply because of the speed that she possessed, and the only reason why she had been so slow was because she was carrying Amon along.

If she had been alone, she would have definitely been able to arrive there in just a matter of a few hours. But since she had to make sure that Amon did not die, she had to reduce the speed at which she was moving at.

Amon was completely surprised by the speed that Diana was moving at. After an entire day, he finally realized that it was not that Diana was actually using an item in order to be able to move at such an incredible speed, but instead, it was simply due to the ability that she possessed.

At that moment, he could not help but be completely horrified about that fact. If it was true that Diana was already this strong, what would happen if she really wanted to kill him?

It was good that the relationship between the two of them had not reached to the level that they would want to kill each other. But even then, he believed that his life was definitely going to be hectic considering that he did not have a good relationship with Diana.

Of course, he did not know the power level that Diana was in, but he understood that it was definitely at least within the ancient rank. Since that was the case, it implied that she was capable of easily overpowering him.

The only question in his mind was how she had been able to improve at such an incredible speed. Could it be that this matter was related to that young man? After all, Diana had addressed that young man as master, could it be that she was his summoned creature?

But according to the information that he had received all this time when he was traveling around, going to look for Diana, he understood that all those with the summoner profession had never managed to summon a humanoid creature.

But even then, he could not explain anything that was related to the current situation where Diana was involved with that young man. It was clear that that young man was definitely not doing anything indecent to Diana, considering the respect that Diana possessed towards that guy.

In normal situations, even if a person was subdued, they would definitely resent the person who had subdued them if they were undergoing a lot of torture under that person. Even if they could not resist, that did not imply that they could not be dissatisfied about it. But from the looks of it, Diana was not even the least bit irritated of that young man. In fact, she seemed to admire that young man so much.

Despite all the questions that he was having, Amon did not have anything to say at the moment, considering that he believed that Diana would definitely not answer any of them. But still, he believed that he would be able to get the answers the moment that their parents would be asking the questions. He did not believe that Diana would refuse to give the answers at that time.

Diana did not know what it was that her brother was thinking about. But after arriving on this continent, she did not know where to go next. It might be true that Amon and the others could easily detect where she was, however, it was difficult for her to be able to do the same.

The reason behind that was simply because she had come into this world in a different manner as compared to them. So, she had lost everything that could be utilized in order to locate them. But the same could not be said about them.

As for the reason why she could be able to easily tell where Amon was, that was simply because they had interacted at least once, and for that reason, she was capable of detecting Amon according to the elf aura that he possessed.

She looked at Amon and asked him to direct her to where the elves were located. Despite the fact that Amon had not been on this continent for a long time, but he could still remember the way that he had used in order to get out of this continent.

So, he immediately pointed towards a certain direction, and estimated the distance. And so, Diana utilized her incredible speed in order to cover that distance in just a short time.

After going around for a few more minutes, they finally managed to find the forest where the elves were located. It seemed that the elves had no intention of going out of the forest in order to fight for the domination of the world.

But of course, that was just something that they had decided on for now. They would only go out later on when many other races had already been eliminated. At that time, it would definitely be easy for them to be able to deal with the remainder of the races, considering that they would have suffered less losses.

After Diana arrived in this area where the forest was located, she could immediately detect the auras of several elves. Of course, only a few elves were familiar to her, considering that she had not interacted with many elves even during the time that they were in their own world.

Diana took a deep breath before she finally landed in the area where a territory had already been constructed. The moment that she appeared in that area, all the elves could not help but be completely stunned by the appearance of Diana and Amon.

They had not expected that there was actually going to be somebody that was going to come to this territory. Additionally, the territory itself was located so deep into the forest that even for the divine rank experts, it was definitely going to be impossible for them to be able to easily tell the whereabouts of this territory with all the items that had been used to conceal it.

Immediately, they wanted to attack. But the moment that they realized who it was that had appeared, they could not help but stop what they wanted to do. It was simply because the majority of them could easily recognize who Diana was.

It might be true that Diana did not know many of them, but the same could not be said about the others knowing her. After all, she might not be too careful in order to know every elf that was being led by her parents, but the same could not be said about the other elves.

And behind Diana was none other than the prince of the elves, Amon. The moment that they recognized who it was that had come over, they could not help but get excited. After all, it had been about 2 months ever since Amon left, till the day that he returned.

They had already begun getting worried that something might had happened to Amon during the time that he was out there. It might be true that he had not died, but who said that they could not take him as a captive?

As a prince of the elves, it was definitely impossible for Amon to reveal the location of the elves. After all, that was something that was going to cause them trouble. So, they believed that even if Amon was captured by another race, if they tried to get the information about the whereabouts of the elves, they would definitely not get the information that they wanted.

Of course, although the king and the queen did not take action, that did not imply that they were not worried about Amon. At the end of it all, Amon was still their son, and the only heir to the throne.

So, they had already been contemplating on whether they were supposed to take action in order to look for Amon personally, or not. But luckily, before they came to a decision, they suddenly realized that the location that Amon was in kept on changing from time to time.

It seemed that he was moving around. As for whether he was being moved around or moving around on his own, they did not know. But even then, they had already realized that the aura of the other elves that had gone together with Amon had already disappeared. That implied one thing, that they had already been killed.

The only thing that was preventing the king and the queen from taking action was the fact that if they took action, then they were definitely going to affect the entire elf race. After all, with two divine rank powerhouses taking action, it was definitely impossible for them not to be detected by the other powerhouses of the other races.

Diana looked around. She realized that the territory here was almost exactly the same as the kingdom back in their own world. It seemed that the elves had constructed this place just like how their own kingdom was.

She could not help but feel a sense of nostalgia as she looked around. Of course, everything was good before Amon suddenly decided to make arrangements of his own. And it was just that their parents had yet to come to a decision, and she was not sure if they had done so or not. But even then, she didn’t doubt that they did come to a conclusion to marry her off.

Though she was not happy about it, she was here with only one reason, they were her parents no matter what. At the end of the day, they had always been treating her well, and the only mistake that they had done was to perhaps agree to the marriage between her and the other elf clan.

Amon was just about to say something when suddenly, heavy pressure descended from the sky. He looked up and he realized that two figures had already appeared above them.
