Chapter 783: Side Story 4. Endless Journey - 64.5

Kar had planned to return home as soon as possible, but half his home was here already. Instead of heading to the airport, they were heading to a hotel.

It would be too much if they had to endure a journey home.

All they wanted was privacy, which they wouldn’t be able to have in public places like the airport or the plane. After thirty-four months apart without even being able to hear each other’s voice, they were craving each other’s presence too much to stand even a second of separation.

For that, and to not give any chance for people to recognize Byul, Kar immediately left the venue--no matter how many people wanted to talk to him. Haa...at that kind of moment, he really wanted to have a teleportation skill like his father.

But he managed to get a car and booked a suite on the way. Honestly, he just wanted to fall asleep in his baby’s arms at first, forgetting the darkness and coldness of the northern mountain. But what could he do when heat kept rising through every touch, no matter how innocent it was? Suddenly, it wasn’t enough just feeling the body heat through the thick clothes in the cold north.

They almost couldn’t hold back from shredding their clothes before they were alone in the suite. The moment the door clicked shut, Byul already felt the wall on his back, sliding up as his legs were hooked around the esper’s waist and his arms clutching the broad shoulder.

"Hurry," their breaths mingled as they tried to shed each other’s clothes. "Hurry up, Hyung."

"Byul, I don’t have--"

"It’s fine," Byul cut the esper quickly. "Let’s just do it, mm? I already...you can put it in now, Hyung--so hurry up."

Kar almost froze at the thought of Byul preparing himself before they even met, and it broke almost every chain inside his conscience. He almost lost his mind and ripped Byul’s clothes away before sheathing himself inside.

And he lost his mind. Really. Both of them.

It was their first time doing it raw, and Byul came instantly, right there and then. Kar groaned at the sensation that drove away all the dark and cold of the Deathzone all at once. He felt like he saw white; like he couldn’t think of anything; like his whole being was centered between his legs.

Byul couldn’t hear anything but his own moans and screams of pleasure. He just nodded and agreed to anything Kar was asking, getting all kinds of bites and painted with love marks all over. He was probably crying in the middle, and Kar probably licked his tears too, who knows? It was overwhelming in the best ways, and even with everything his body and mind going through, Byul felt it still wasn’t enough.

If it was up to Kar, he would have never stopped for days, venting all of his sexual frustration and intimacy cravings. But he couldn’t do that when his baby almost lost consciousness from getting overstimulated, so he stopped to give Byul some potions and rest.

Not that he would let the actor off his hands.

"Never again," he said while stroking the flushed cheeks of the actor lying on his arms beneath the blanket, "I won’t leave you ever again."

"Really?" the black eyes looked up expectantly, but there was also a question mark there. "What about the other Deathzone?"

"I’ll only go if you can go with me," Kar said firmly, even narrowing his eyes as if he were threatening some higher-ups.

Byul tilted his head. "What can I do if I go?"

"Cheering me up?"

The actor laughed loudly, making his already flushed face even redder. "You make it sound like you’re going to a sports tournament or something, Hyung."

"Eh, it was kind of like a tournament inside," Kar shrugged.

Byul perked up in interest and, despite feeling exhausted and sore, shifted to lie on his side and looked at the esper with sparkling eyes. "Yeah? How so? Tell me, tell me!"

"For free?"

Byul laughed and crawled on top of the esper, reaching out to grasp the mischievous-looking face and give the man a kiss. "Is that enough?"

"Not really, but I’ll put you on credit," Kar shrugged, holding Byul’s waist and raising his upper body so they were half-sitting against the headboard. "You can pay for it later."

Byul laughed and kissed the esper again, before laying his head snuggly on the broad shoulder. He listened to the exciting drama happening during the operation while fiddling with his star necklace. The black eyes were sparkling; less about the ridiculous rivalry and more about the nice, low voice.

While they were apart, Byul had regretted how they never recorded a video together. Looking at Kar’s pictures was not enough; Byul wanted to hear that soothing voice that always helped him go through hard times ever since he was a child. He wanted to hear it every time he went to sleep, so he could see Kar in his dream.

"Haa," he sighed after the story ended in his hyung’s triumph. "I’m so glad it’s over, Hyung."

Kar hugged the actor and kissed the fluffy hair, sighing in return. "Yeah...me too, baby."

"I...I know I was the one who told you it’s alright to go--that you have to go--but..." Byul snuggled more into the embrace, pressing his cheek on the broad chest. "It was hard, Hyung."

"It was," Kar agreed, stroking Byul’s head lovingly. "It was so much harder than I thought," he said. "I thought I could at least call you, but...I’m sorry."

He could be selfish and demand an international call--he was in a position where he could demand such a thing anyway. In the end, however, he decided against it, and it made him feel like he was prioritizing the operation over his lover.

"No, Hyung!" Byul raised slightly and shook his head. "Lucy explained it to me, so I understand."

"It was still sucked though..."

"Yeah, it was," Byul laughed at Kar’s sulky expression. It was nice to know that his hyung also hated being away as much as him. "But it’s over now so I’m good."

Kar caressed the smiling face, feeling happier than the moment they completed lighting up the whole northern mountain as he kissed his baby again.

"Yeah, it’ll be good," he whispered. "We’ll stay together from now on."

Byul giggled and kissed the esper lightly before laying back over the broad chest. He listened to the steady heartbeat, feeling like he could fall asleep just by listening to that sound.

"Now, tell me about yourself, baby," Kar stroked the strewn curl, pulling the blanket over the fair back. "I’m sure you got a lot of offers after that first movie."

"Yeah, I’ve done two movies and one mature-rated drama."

The hand stroking Byul’s back froze. "What?"

"For violence," Byul told his rigid boyfriend.

"Oh..."

Byul giggled and poked the esper’s side. "You said you’ll be okay with me doing spicy stuff."

"I said I won’t stop you, not that I’ll be okay," Kar deflected, pursing his lips again.

No matter how strong he was, how could he be fine thinking about his baby kissing and touching other people? It helped to think there was no feeling involved, or that there were lots of other people around. But still...it was natural to feel worry or jealousy.

"Don’t worry," Byul giggled again, giving the pouting lips a little peck. "I didn’t even have any kissing scene."

Kar raised his brow. While he was happy, he also didn’t expect Byul to do that. "Yeah? Won’t that hinder you?"

"I managed to find good ones without it. Kissing scene isn’t important for action, especially for supporting casts," Byul shrugged.

"You haven’t played lead?" Kar frowned. "Does no one--"

"No," Byul shook his head strongly, biting his lips before adding. "I...I want to wait."

"Oh, baby..."

"I want you to be there during the premiere if I play the lead," Byul pressed his lips.

"My pretty baby," Kar held the younger’s head, peppering kisses on the giggling face. "Prettiest baby."

"Well...I can start to look for a lead role now," Byul laughed and shrugged before hugging the esper back.

"And you’ll get it," Kar said without hesitation; without a doubt.

"Yeah," Byul took a deep breath, feeling more confident from Kar’s conviction than by seeing all of those scripts on the CEO’s table. "Yeah, I’ll get it."

"But I’ll get you first," Kar whispered and turned them around, sending Byul back on the mattress.

Byul shrieked and laughed as the esper playfully attacked him, although the sound soon turned into moans as they mixed their body once again beneath the sheet.

Just like that, they spent more days without stepping out of the room, never truly separating from each other. They had their meals delivered, and Kar even cleaned and fixed their room by himself--only asking for a new sheet--because Byul was feeling too embarrassed of the mess they made.

But that embarrassment did not hold a candle to the fluster he got when Kar opened the door one morning and his blood uncle was standing there. Byul almost shrieked and hid behind the bedroom’s door, tightening his bathrobe as Han Joon walked into the suite while strolling their breakfast trolley inside.

"U-uncle?" even Kar got flustered, blinking in shock as he closed the door carefully.

Han Joon looked around the clean sitting room and clicked his tongue. "Amateur."

"H-huh?"

"Anyway, I’m here to pick you up," Joon said, taking a seat after plucking a grape.

"Pick us?"

"It’s been three days, boys," Joon curled his lips. "If you spend more time here, your parents will be the ones to come."
