Chapter 105: Odd Silver Guest

Courtez had been helpful to Ariel ever since the two were brought to the brothel. Being a rather clever and composed woman allowed Courtez to easily find the best option for Ariel, knowing well that Arabella had asked her precisely as she knew how her older sister wouldn’t survive easily in the brothel.

With the mix of vampires as guests to the brothel, Arabella wasn’t quite wrong. Courtez who admired Arabella’s character and love for her sister eventually decided to take care of Ariel as if she was her own buy at the same time showing to Ursula that she doesn’t actually like the girl but see her as an important merchandise so Ursula wouldn’t use Ariel as a leverage.

For now their charade works but Courtez knew it wouldn’t be for long. She had seen how Ursula was already thinking of replacing the dead girls with Ariel and the best way to stop this was to make someone wealthy a complete patron to Ariel, someone who would hate the idea of sharing Ariel with someone else and would pay a hefty price.

It’s a miracle if it could happen and Ursula was right about how looks weren’t everything in this hellish place but Courtez had found the man who could help them.

The man is wealthy. He is also young and quite handsome to boot. With a kind personality with almost no flaw except the fact that he was quite scared of women. He didn’t touch Courtez while paying for her service and was an odd man who would just sit down and have a tea with her while holding a conversation.

The man had a silver hair that seemed like thread. The length of his hair reached his neck and was tied with a deep green ribbon. His eyes were light in brown color almost like the gold coins he would leave on her round table. Courtez had opened up about her concern regarding Ariel, knowing that Ariel and this man should work well together. She considered it as the man fears women while Ariel needs to be with someone who could pay well and not touch her.

She made sure that this man wasn’t dangerous, keeping an eye on his every action for fear that everything was just an act but much to her surprise the man showed that he could really not touch a woman. Once he does he seemed utterly terrified, wiping his hands so roughly as if he was going to rip his skin anew.

She then told everything to Ariel who showed a completely worried expression, "That must have sound tough. To not be able to touch anyone..."

"I suppose," Courtez answered, "But his plight is our advantage. Make sure you speak to him well and keep him wrap around your fingers. He’s an easy man to talk with so it shouldn’t be difficult."

Ariel thought about it and then suddenly remembered Arabella’s words. Her sister unlike her could never bring herself to trust anyone. Arabella would always warned her that people who are too giving or too kind with the exception of a family would often give out their kindness hoping for something in exchange.

She began to worry, knowing well that Courtez wouldn’t try to harm her but the same couldn’t be said about the man. Seeing her apprehensiveness, Courtez smiled. The beautiful woman, placed her hand on the back of her head, gently rubbing it, "Don’t worry, if push comes to shove, I will be there with you. The meeting will be tomorrow. Can you promise me not to treat him too badly?"

Ariel furrowed her eyebrows and all she could think was her younger sister who must have been suffering on her own before firmly nodding her head, "It’s my time to step up as her older sister."

"Wonderful," Courtez pulled away her hand, smiling to herself as her gaze became distant, "You two really do have such a wonderful bond. I wish I had have the same bond with my own sibling."

"You have a sibling, Courtez?" Ariel curiously inquired but as if realizing the slip up, Courtez shook her head.

"No, nothing, so eat the rest and promise me that tomorrow you will smile."

"I will," Ariel smiled, promising her firmly and Courtez knowing how obedient Ariel was didn’t doubt that the girl would perform well tomorrow, sighing in relief as she walked out of the room, wishing that things would continue to go as well as she had planned.

The next night in the brothel, stood a silver haired man in front of the large building. His eyes fell on the outerior of the building where between the door was two statues of a naked woman smiling while holding a jar of water that flood towards the door. freёnovelkiss.com

The name of the building being Goddess’ mercy seemed to be talking about the Goddess’s mercy of giving pleasure to the men though the Goddess themselves were mostly underage girls who were bound for life in a place where they wish they could simply escape from.

As he stood still with his light grey coat that draped over his shoulder, a man appeared from behind him, his subordinate who sported the look of a young man with downturned eyes and a snake-like piercing green eyes that contrast with his black hair. He spoke first, "Your Maj-"

"That isn’t how you should call me while I’m here, Matheo," warned the silver haired man, though his tone was soft and his smile that appeared on his thin pale pink lips were gentle, Matheo his subordinate flinched and quickly rectify his mistake.

"I apologize, young lord, I have forgotten my manners."

"Oh please, be at ease Matheo, we are not here for any of our plan, simply to see our angel," answered the silver haired man as he stared again at the building, "It really does reek of blood and those disgusting blood sucking creatures, tsk."

Matheo gulped at his second sentence, bowing his head.

"I also like the color of red," the silver haired man said, his eyes that lifted again to look at the building turn a complete golden color as it peered the building in front of him with a hidden smile. "But don’t you suppose the color of red from a flame is much prettier than blood?"

Matheo bowed, his smile appearing as he knew what his King meant by his words.

"I agree, young Lord."

"Then let’s enter," the silver haired man flicked his finger, walking inside as Ursula who saw him had her eyes glittering, knowing well that this was the man who was going to fund for their newest building and girls.
