He was no longer that far away from completing his seventy-two forgings.

"It's another end of year..."

Su Yu muttered to himself as he recalled that year 351 was coming to an end. At this time the previous year, he had left Great Xia. In the blink of an eye, a year had passed. Soon, he would spend his second new year alone. This time, he would celebrate the new year in the ancient city. In but a few days, he would be twenty in age.

With some melancholy, he walked out of his cultivation chamber. When he reached the main hall of the residence, he spread his senses about and noted that the city was bustling with people, giving the city a much livelier atmosphere. Not long after his arrival, an old man appeared.

The old man appeared frail, but his willpower seemed powerful. As the old man looked at Su Yu, he said, "Young Friend Su, I've reached a decision. I will be converting into a resident."

"Are you sure, Senior Wang?"

Senior Wang nodded, "Yes. I'm an old man without long to live. Thanks to you, I survived the previous battle. The Knowledge Seeking Realm is no more. Even if I were to return to the Human Realm, where could I go?"

Senior Wang sighed and said, "I will die sooner or later. I might as well convert into an ancient city resident. At least here, I will enjoy your backing.
