" Hey! Who are you? " Lukas asked in a gentle tone, he did not know Henry had a baby back home.

" Lucy... and she’s three years old." The baby replied back as if she were used to this kind of talk on the phone.

" Okay, so I need you to put your father on the phone, please." Lukas said, while he was trying to get inside the shower, the vanity truck has a shower inside.

" Dad is not home." Lucy’s voice came back, she repeated what she said earlier.

"Alright, no worries, tell him that I called," Lukas said, then wanted to end the call, but Lucy had something to say.

" Ote... Next time you come with chocolate, don’t send it by Dad," Lucy said. Lukas understood that Henry must’ve given her chocolate in his name, but she didn’t know him.

" I will come next time, with a lot of chocolate," Lukas said, then ended the call. Terry was waiting for him, and he also needed to know about his medical reports from the MLB doctors.

After changing his clothes, Lukas went to the field, he saw Manager Terry was, and Mike and Jimmy were beside him.

" Lukas, you passed, come join us for lunch, then you can go, and where’s your manager?" Terry asked, as he had to confirm everything with his manager.

" I don’t know either, he was not home the last time I called him," Lukas said with a shrug of his shoulder.

" Alright, no worries. Tomorrow is our game with the Chicago Cubs, it’s in Chicago, so you have to go to the airport at two in the noon and take the plane from there. I’ll inform your manager separately, don’t worry," Terry said, then gave Lukas a copy of his report.

" Alright , I will be there, but I am missing my classes." Lukas complained because he wanted to study seriously in this life.

"Yes, I also wanted you to study, but this season ends with three more games, so please help us out. We are currently tied with the Chicago Cubs at the bottom. If we defeat them in these two games, we can at least be saved from the ultimate last position in the National League standings." Terry requested with a smile on his face.

"No worries, I got to talk with her, and she sounded very cute. I will meet her when I come back to Princeton. Now I need you to come here as soon as you can, Coach. I need the checkbook from my dorm too, I can’t hand these guys’ cards, and I don’t have any cash left. Lukas said the system was not triggering that much anymore, but he needed money now.

" See that, Lukas? That house? That house serves us and the football team, that’s actually a restaurant but not open to the general public. Terry introduced a small two-story home to Lukas.

Lukas nodded his head in response, then walked with them as the four of them were having a meal together.

" Why didn’t the team join?" Lukas asked, he thought the whole team was going to eat together.

" They don’t deserve it, the whole year was awful. They did whatever was in their best interest, especially that pitcher! His season was the best among the whole team, but his arrogance has led the team astray," Terry complained while going outside the stadium and going towards that food place.

" Oh! I didn’t know that, I’ve actually never seen a Philly game before, so I hope I can do well," Lukas said. Jimmy just snorted, and Mike smiled cheekily hearing what Lukas just said.

As soon as they entered the premises of the restaurant, Lukas smelled meat and freshly cooked, his instinct told him that this meat would be extremely tasty.

Entering the cozy-looking place, Lukas was shocked to find out how small the place was, and it really looked like a home—very small and perfect for a family of two.

" This place is run by an old couple, they sell steaks to the Philadelphia team—perfect steaks in the world," Terry said jokingly a little, then proceeded to sit down at one of the open tables.

" It feels perfect when you win a game and eat it, but if you don’t win, only eat your fat ass off, then it tastes like shit." A taunt was heard from upstairs, followed by someone walking down stairs.

Then Lukas saw a Black person, he seemed to carry an aura around him, and even Mike and Jimmy gritted their teeth in anger.

" Donovan McNabb , nasty little bitch," Mike muttered under his breath.

As the Phillies were losing every match this year, Donovan McNabb, on the other hand doing whatever he could to win and perform his best, he was arguably the superstar of Philadelphia right now.
