Chapter 79: Chapter 78: Endurance Potion

Shaking his head, he took a book on stocks and made his way to a quiet spot beneath a large tree. The shade was cool, the grass soft, and the distant murmur of campus life made it the perfect retreat.

While he waited for the next lecture.

As for daily sign-in rewards these days—well... System had been really stingy lately, as they were things like spice mix, instant noodles, or water.

Except for the one he received yesterday. That one was good... really good.

Thinking about it, he couldn’t help but smirk slightly. Opening the system interface, he navigated to the warehouse tab. His eyes flicked over the usual low-tier clutter he received before—until they landed on a sleek glass vial tucked in the corner.

Elegant and otherworldly, the vial shimmered in the light like it held a piece of the sky itself. It was slender, curved in all the right places, shimmering with a cerulean liquid that swirled as if alive. The potion’s surface sparkled subtly, radiating an aura of cool energy and quiet strength. A simple silver band accented the neck, securing a cork stopper with understated elegance.

ENDURANCE POTION

This was the reward he received last night, but he had been too tired to check it carefully at the time. Now that he finally had a moment to take a proper look, he couldn’t help but nod. It really gave off fantasy vibes—even though it was a modern scientific product. It looked like something looted from a fantasy alchemist’s lab.

"System really has a thing for dramatic aesthetics." he muttered under his breath, smirking.

Taking the potion out, he swirled it gently. The liquid inside glowed softly with a faint, neon-blue luminescence, swirling like tiny galaxies.

He easily popped the cork with a soft pop, and immediately a faint, refreshing mist emanated from the top, adding an air of mystery to its essence.

Its description was simple and crude:

[Endurance Potion Effect: Endurance permanently increased by 2 points.

Condition: Effect applied immediately upon consumption.]

"Should I save it?" he wondered.

He debated whether to drink it now or save it for later, when his stats were a bit higher. Obviously, it would be more useful then. But then again... we can’t always be logical.

Because during exercise these days, he could really feel the shortcomings of his endurance—especially compared to professionals like Kaelan and Victor.

He stared at the numbers, then at the glowing vial.

"Screw it." With a shrug, with a swift motion, he lifted the potion and drank it in one gulp.

Cool liquid slid down his throat, sending a wave of icy refreshment through his body...like he had just drunk a cool, revitalizing beverage on a hot summer day.

His muscles tingled, and for a moment, it felt like he’d just chugged liquid vitality itself.

His mind cleared, and his body felt... lighter. Stronger. More stable.

And as always, the taste was unlike anything he’d ever had before. But if he had to compare, it tasted like a mix of mint and cucumber water, with subtle hints of blueberry. All in all, it felt really good.

Turning to the system interface, as expected, his endurance had increased by 2 points. It was now close to the level of professional athletes who had trained their entire lives.

Seeing this, an uncontrollable grin spread across his face. Honestly, it felt good—damn good—to be able to cheat through life. Otherwise, increasing even a single point would’ve taken him months, if not years.

And that wasn’t even the best part.

Endurance potion didn’t just increase the body’s stamina for running or lifting weights. It also greatly increased endurance down there too, which every single man in the world dreams of.

Which meant he could last much, much longer than average. And combined with his already long timing, even though he hadn’t had any experience yet, but he could feel it .

He couldn’t even imagine the results. Whoever it would be, she’d have to beg for mercy. Thinking about it, a lewd grin spread across his face, and he couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

After laughing for a bit, he quickly stifled it, and looked around. Thankfully, he was in a relatively remote area, and no one had seen him laughing like a pervert—otherwise, his reputation might’ve collapsed.

After some time, once the refreshing sensation had settled, he stood up and walked a bit. He didn’t really feel much difference at first, so he tried sprinting.

This time, he did feel the difference. Normally, just a short sprint would leave him gasping for air and sweating buckets. But now, even after running, his breath remained steady and there wasn’t even a drop of sweat. as if his body had finally caught up with his ambition.

After testing things a bit more, he stopped. His breathing was still smooth and steady as he made his way toward the class. It was almost time for the next lecture, and honestly, it was a little embarrassing to be running around like a fool on campus.

On the surface, he calmly attended the lecture and even occasionally asked a few questions he didn’t understand. The professor generously explained them, even though they were a bit basic, but she didn’t mind.

The other students watched the exchange without much change in expression. They were already used to it. Over the past few days, Rex asking questions—and the professor giving him her undivided attention—had become routine.

And seeing the satisfied expression on the professor’s face as she looked at Rex, it was obvious he was on his way to becoming her favorite.

But as soon as class ended, just like always, he hurried out.

Today, though, was a little different.

He walked briskly across campus, cutting through shaded pathways and past murmuring students. His destination wasn’t the library or the cafeteria.

It was the "parking lot."

He hadn’t forgotten that today was the day some activity would begin in Trivaxa’s stock.

He hadn’t been idle these past few days—he’d kept a close eye on stock movements, joined various trading groups, and even subscribed to so-called "stock gurus."

And as expected, there wasn’t any movement anywhere. The stock looked completely dead—no value, no volume.

In those five days, he hadn’t just skimmed stock trading guides, he’d devoured entire books. Classics like The Intelligent Investor and Reminiscences of a Stock Operator, strategy-heavy reads like Market Wizards, and even obscure institutional trading manuals. Thanks to his enhanced memory and system-assisted comprehension, he didn’t just read, he absorbed.

He opened the brokerage account on Day 2, got it verified by Day 4, completed KYC, and linked it to a clean bank account. Now all that was left was to transfer the money—from the account that held over 100 million—into his personal bank and officially start the operation.

Then, the real game would begin.

Reaching his car, Rex yanked the door open, dropped into the seat, and took a deep breath.

His fingers tapped the wheel, pulse steady.

"Let’s make some noise," he whispered, and started the engine and drove toward home.
