"What?" – said the general as he looked behind himself, only for Thanatos to quickly took out her scythe out of the paladin body before then swinging it around, aiming it at the general neck, but not connecting as he general used his sword to block the attack.

Thanatos instantly backed away as the general swinged around his sword, unleashing an wave of holy fire around.
"BITCH! YOU DARE TO STRIKE THIS HOLY BODY?!" – shouted the general while holding onto his wound and starting to heal it.

(He still move and heal? I pierced him in the heart!)

"Tch." – Thanatos retreated back into the shadows as the group of paladins soldiers approached.
"GENERAL! IS EVERYTHING ALRIGHT?!" – said the worried soldier as he ran towards the wounded general.
"Do I look fine?! There is an assassin hiding inside the shadows! FIND THAT BASTARD!" – shoted furious general.
"…."
(Welp…. Assassination had failed.) – though Thanatos while hiding in the shadows.
(I pierced that bastard right though the heart and even poisoned him using my scythe ability…. But he is still standing.)
(It must be that bird blessing keeping him alive and boosting his healing ability…. )
(Still, its not like the poison didn't kicked in. He is injured even after healing himself.)
(Still…. It could had killed him, if those paladins didn't came here.)
(They look high ranking as well and there is also the blessing of those birds involved.)

"FUCK! TO THE MAIN GATE! NOW!" – shouted the general as he continues to heal himself as the group headed back towards the main force.
The organization forces used their siege monsters to attack the gate, causing them to take damage over and over, before then finally breaking open, allowing the forces of the organization to get inside the city and began attacking it.
"FORCES OF JUSTICE! STRIKE DOWN THESE HERETICS!" – shouted the paladin as the forces of the church engaged in battle against the organization army.
And all-out battle between the two forces instantly started and at first, the organization army was unable to push at all into the city as the forces of the church blessed by the divine beast were able to hold off the organization army.
However, just as the things started extremely well for the church forces, several demonic cannon balls came flying, alarming one of the divine beast and causing it to try and dodge, managing to dodge one of the cannons balls, but not the rest as it gotten bombarded, causing the beast to scream and get attention of the church forces below.

"The divine beast was attacked?!"

"I see they got to the work." – said Doctor on top of the wall while changing his arm form into railgun.
"So, I should give some assist!" -said Doctor before charging up and firing his railgun at the screaming divine beast, unleashing an blast of energy that flew and hit the beast, causing it to scream even more in agony.
"Stop him!" – shouted the soldiers on top of the wall that rushed towards Doctor.
"Tch. They are not letting up." – said Doctor as he changed his arm back to normal.
However, when Doctor paid attention to soldiers, the second divine bird flew by and opened its mouth, alarming the Doctor who instantly used skill [Lion Mane] to defend himself as the beast breath an holy fire that blasted the Doctor.
"Tch!"
"Annoying fucker!" – though Doctor who was defending himself.
"Support the divine beast! Strike down the heretic!" – shouted the soldiers that rushed towards Doctor.

(Divine beast is one thing, but it with an soldiers on the holy steroids is an different thing.)
Doctor rushed out of the holy fire and ran straight towards the soldiers, but that action was obviously noticed by the divine beast that began having its breath attack chase after the Doctor.
The soldiers got ready to confront the Doctor, but he just jumped high into the air, flying above the soldiers, before landing behind them.
However, the breath of fire still continue chasing him, resulting in the soldiers being in the breath attack path and then getting burned to death.

"Wait. It doesn't hurt?" – said the soldier as he realized he didn't took any damage.
"Huh… Wait, it really doesn't hurt?" – said confused soldier that was burning alive.

(Welp, I tried. I though maybe it can friendly fire them.) – though Doctor before starting to run away again as the holy breath chased after him.
"[Acid Spear]!" – Doctor fired an spear of acid towards the bird, but it quickly stopped breathing fire and flew away, dodging the acid attack, before then unleashing an sphere of holy fire towards the Doctor who quickly dodged the attack as it hit and blew up the parts of the wall.
(Welp. I guess its really want to get me, eh?) – though the Doctor who fired long range poison and acid attacks towards the bird who focused on keepings its distance and creating an barrier of holy fire that blocked most of the attacks.
However, even when some attacks managed to get though, they were nowhere near enough to make the divine beast fall.

(They are playing it safe. Probably goodness orders. She knows if I were to get anywhere near those fuckers, I would probably be able to kill them.)
(Tch. What about the support fire?!) – though Doctor as he looked around and noticed that the organization forces were keep firing at the first holy birds, forcing it on the completely defense.

(They still haven't knock it down!)

Doctor quickly raised his arm used it to block an hail of arrows that came flying at him.
"GET HIM!" – shouted the soldiers that rushed from behind and leaped at the Doctor while being enchanted with the holy fire.
However, Doctor just rushed in and grabbed the soldier by his head and just popped it up, killing the soldier.

(Welp. I'm surrounded.) – though Doctor as he was getting surrounded by archers from one side, by soldiers from the others and by the divine beast that flew in the air.

(The situation below is still not good.)
(We need to take down at least one of those birds to weaken the church forces enough to give organization power to push back the church.)
(One of the birds is sustaining a lot of damage and at this rate it will either fall down or be forced to retreat, either result will work in our favor.)
(But the problem is this second bird, its already regenerating from the wounds I inflicted.)
(The birds fire can't do an friendly fire, so I can't use the soldiers as meat shields.)

While the Doctor was engaging in the fight against the wall defenders and the holy beasts, the situation below was also getting chaotic.
The forces of the organization were confronting the forces of the church.
However, even though the battle already lasted for some time, thanks to the divine beast blessings, the soldiers of the church were still being able to hold their ground against the organization army.
"Push these bastards out of the city! Don't let them move at all!" – shouted the general.
(Good! We are winning! At this rate we will push back these bastards outside!)
(However, the problem is the wall. The hell is going on there?! Why the hell these idiots are still struggling to deal with one guy!?)
(There is also that fuking assassin lurking in the shadows somewhere!)

"General?!" – said confused soldier nearby as the general unleashed an wave of holy fire that destroyed everything near him, even hitting his own soldiers.

"General?! What are you doing?!" – asked confused soldier as he saw the general attacking his own soldiers.
"Shut it!" – shouted the general.
(Hiding in the shadows is one thing, but that doesn't make you invincible, right?! I just have to attack every shadow and…..And…..?)
(Wait. No reaction?)
(That guy isn't here?!) – though the panicking general as he looked around.
"FUCK! SHOW YOURSELF!" – shouted the general.
The general tried looking around, but not managing to find Thanatos anywhere.
However, there was no use searching for her since she was nowhere near the general.
She was in reality on top of the building, equipment with the rocket launcher.
"Okay. Lets see if this little toy of his works." – said Thanatos before pulling the trigger and firing an rocket that flew after the injured divine bird.
The divine bird that was focused on defending itself against the demonic cannonballs did not noticed at all as the rocket came flying towards it from behind, before moments later it directly hit and exploded, causing an massive explosion of water to occur that that caused the creature to scream in agony; while also making it break its barrier.
With the barrier gone, an series of the demonic magic cannonballs came flying, hitting the bird and finally knocking it down off the air, causing it to go crushing down on top of the church soldiers.
"Bird down. Now its time to kill it." – said Thanatos.
