Chapter 410: The Affairs of the Kazan

Still, to the eyes of the chiefs, Aeryon is domineering, cunning, smart and brave. Generosity and benevolence is only his tool.

But this act by Mayeux to render aid toward Sordkazan has changed a bit of the image of the Brolgadhr.

Broadminded, generous and loyal.

Because Sordkazan is also one of the members that fought in the Siege of Nurshira

To the eye of the tribes of the Southern Great Steppe, these two tribes fought alongside each other

Even though they did not ally with each other, the people of the Steppe usually have friendship or forge friendship with people who fought alongside them

To the eyes of the tribes, maybe that is why the Brolgadhr tribe treats the Sordkazan tribe so well.

This is the consensus of the people of the Southern Great Steppe.

What does this show?

It shows that Brolgadhr tribe is loyal to friends.

And even if there is the ambition of hegemony, the Brolgadhr did not beat a friend who is down and even aided it

Even if next time Aeryon would attack Sordkazan, no one would blame them.

He had repay the Sordkazan and then after that he fight for his ambition and his desire which is not wrong in eyes of the people of the Steppe.

Because of this act, suddenly Brolgadhr tribe wins the approval of many warriors.

Maybe Mayeux himself did not expect such effect when he help Karnain and his tribe.

Generosity knows no bound; this is some words that some warriors said.

After all, Mayeux not only did not take advantage of Sordkazan tribe when they are down, Mayeux even offers a plan and persuaded the chief of Sordkazan to take the now ownerless area of the Kazan.

This is selflessness that is hard to find.

After all, if the Brolgadhr tribe wanted to right now , they could easily take the now ownerless Kazan area.

But they did not.

Instead, since Sordkazan has relations to them, Mayeux suggested that he take the area as the rightful heir of the Kazan legacy and once again hoisted the banner of the Kazan

Karnain and his tribe member loses their home but is it easy to accept this great generosity?

After all, regardless of how Karnain and his tribe view themselves as the rightful heir of the Kazan legacy, the Kazan warriors might not think so.

Mayeux once again come to the rescue. It is said that when Karnain raises the possibility that their settlement on the Kazan area would be challenging, Mayeux drinks an Ayrag and simply said freewebnøvel.coɱ

"The Wolf King has been mauled; its children scattered. Man should be brave and adventurous. When there is an opportunity grasp it. For the gods will not give it a second time"

The words are few but it implies a few things.

The Wolf King refers to the chief of the Kazan. Its children refers to the warriors of the Kazan,

What Mayeux is saying is that, Kazan lost many warriors in the fight against Esbizuk tribe. Most of their most powerful warriors have already bene killed.

Even if there is trouble, it could easily be pacified. The road is arduous but if you do not take it, then others would take it.

Hence the word of Man should be brave and adventurous and the words of the gods give this opportunity.

Mayeux is basically saying if you do not take this opportunity now, there would be no other opportunity

Karnain is a cautious leader but he also knows when to be brave and when to be timing. Mayeux words dispels his doubt a

thinking about how Kazan now lost all of their warriors in the east, Karnain accept Mayeux suggestion and rides toward the Kazan tribe.

Aeryon who originally wanted to go back to the tribe also stay suddenly in the Wustkazan area after being informed of the matter.

No one knows why Aeryon did not rush to the city of Brolgadhr.

But clearly serendipity comes to Aeryon and his tribe. One could even say that the Brolgadhr seems to possess some kind of destiny

It is the word that the Yan dynasty always said when referring to their dynasty.

Four hundred years of the Yan dynasty, how do you explain it other than destiny?

So, when Yan said that they have destiny, it means that they have the mandate of heaven.

Why did Jiang Xiu manage to win the world when the Yan dynasty is about to collapse?

Why did meteor shower come to aid him when he is about to lose?

Isn’t this destiny? Brolgadhr tribe ascent and their luck could be considered to have that flavour of destiny.

With Aeryon in the Wustkazan area, the Kan welcomed Karnain and even escorted him to the Kazan region so that they could take the seat of Kazan and reignite back the Kazan legacy.

All of this seems noble and righteous but everyone could tell there is a conspiracy in this.

Sordkazan has left the east and is now moving toward the area of the original Kazan tribe.

What would it mean for the tribe around there?

It would mean a lot.

Especially to the Utgard tribe.

Utgard tribe has an alliance with the Kazan tribe.

But most of the powerful people of Kazan tribe was killed in that banquet.

Who knows how many people survive?

When Aeryon destroyed Wustkazan, the other Kazan fragmentary tribes were all angry.

This anger however is just a farce.

After all, for the other Kazan tribes, it is simply removing their rival from the legitimate position of the Kazan tribe.

It is good enough they did not aid such person.

But for them to truly condemn them, it would not be in the interest of these chiefs of Kazan legacy

In the past when such claimants of the Kazan legacy appears and disappears, the warriors under this Kazan banners would go to other Kazan tribe and their service would be accepted.

This is also the basis on which Chadha and Nergui tribe determine that Aeryon would not take long to stabilize the Wustkazan territory.

Wustkazan has many warriors.

Many of them unknown but is now known to the Southern Great Steppe after the battle.

Warriors like Xiwanu, Lughan, Cahya and Chulun, people who cross blades with Belarion and Aeryon and manage to survive.

No one knows their name before but after the battle between the Brolgadhr and the Wustkazan, their name is known to all the chief of the Southern Great Steppe.

Ambitious chief would want these people to serve under them

So, it is expected that when these four warriors could no longer hold on to the legacy of the Wustkazan, they would bring their army to join one of the other Kazan tribes.

The likeliest candidate of the tribe they would choose would be the Kazan tribe that is closer

But who would have thought that suddenly there is the Betrayal of Dama in the Tayak Banquet.

Storytellers like to exaggerate but the stories about what happened in the Banquet are riveting.

It is said after a great victory against Estkazan, there is many Tayaks that is presented to Dama.

Dama then held a feast, slaughtering a hundred Tayak, opens a thousand bottle of Ayrag and held a banquet.

And it is this banquet where he killed the new chief of the Kazan. The entire area was bloodied and the green grass turns red

No one really knows how the matter progressed but the truth does not deviate much from the story.

The details might be different but the story is true. Suddenly, Estkazan and Kazan tribe and Wustkazan tribe is no longer in the stage

There is only Sordkazan and Nurkazan that is left

And now Sordkazan is seen to be cooperating with the Brolgadhr tribe, the same tribe that has destroyed the Wustkazan

There is Nurkazan but they never seem to carry the same banner that other Kazan tribe has been carrying.

Even though they are Kazan people they did not seem that much eager to revive the Kazan. They do have a bit of that legacy but it doesn’t seem like they would take any action.

Hence, to many chief, the only heir of the Kazan legacy is now inherited by the Sordkazan tribe.

They should hate Brolgadhr tribe because of what they did toward the Wustkazan tribe

But it is clear now, that the Sordkazan tribe could not even try to pretend to hate the Brolgadhr tribe.

they accepted the Brolgadhr help and occupies the Kazan tribe area.

Is there no one to stop them when Aeryon decided that Sordkazan should take Kazan area?

Who would stop him?

Utgard tribe?

Utgard has just lost one of its most trusted ally.

Now, the only ally that the Utgard has is the Brolgadhr tribe.

They could not object.

Not if they want to lose their only powerful ally right now.

If they dare object and this leads to the breakdown of relations between these two tribes, who knows if Aeryon would send its warriors to Utgard and decimated this tribe.

Even if Utgard could hold on, even if he could gather other tribes to resist, this is a lose-lose situation for him

If the Utgard tribe won, the Utgard tribe would lost his only other ally and create a powerful enemy.

If Utgard tribe loses, Aeryon would probably not tolerate such betrayal
