The common people, the people who fought for the empire is nothing but numbers in the eyes of the Emperor and the officials.

This is not the only case.

Tuge knows there is many more of such cases. Stabbings and killing of the minority and other people of different races in Yan

This creates an environment where the suppressed would one day rebel.

Jiang Che set the tone, and future emperors follows him and it come to today where the Yan dynasty is now weak. And it is time for the result of those suppression to be solved.

The riders from the north would one day brings their horses south and trample every cities under the iron hooves of the Steppe warriors!

This is something that Tuge could envisioned.

But this vision did not come without experience.

He is growing with experience and his vision become bigger and larger the more he is exposed to the world.

With his contact with the tribe from the Steppe, he learns about the great changes that is happening in the north of Yan and also of the heroes of the Great Steppe that is rising

He learns things and see things and see the ambition of the heroes of the world and years to also be one of these heroes who ride the tide of the era and shine

He could not help but see the contrast.

The Yan dynasty right now is still full of rebellions, the people are starving and the dynasty is in a precarious position.

In the Steppe, however, there is a trend of unification.

Tuge himself is not educated.

But it does not mean he could not learn.

But Yan people would force you to speak their language, erase your culture and put down your people.

So, why not rebel and carve a name in history!

He gathered brave men that he knew, people who is discriminated by the people of Yan, people of Songnu, Sirong, the barbarian tribes of the north as the Yan people called them and began robbing Yan merchants that wanted to enter Nurshira.

Then they rob villages and kills the people of Yan and wherever they go they are unstoppable, riding like the winds of storms.

At times, he would bring his men to the mountain to hide and then ride down from the mountain to attack surrounding villages.

When he attacks he defeated all enemies, when he retreated, no one could chase him

He rides a horse, moving like flying birds,

With money he buys horses from the tribes of the Steppe.

The Steppe horses has many kinds

There are horses that is fats, there are horses that is strong.

And for the people of the Steppe, the bond between a horse and their master is very much sacred. And even though Tuge himself is not the people of the Steppe, he felt close to them.

For the Yan grouped them as the same kind of people. Not to mention, the blood of their people is probably closer to the blood of the Steppe people.

He also has a habit of loving his horse. And he found a horse that he loved. It is fats and strong.

When he first bring this horse to battle alongside him, the horse gallop like the fierce wind of the Steppe, crossing mountains as if flying and bear a thousand jun of weight

He is very much fond of the horse and since then, this is the horse he uses the most.

But having horses is not the only thing he did. With the iron he had robbed from the forces of Yan, he make the craftsman to forge weapon for his men.

Weapon is made, so armour could not be left off. There is bows and arrows, swords and sabres, spears and halberd.

Now, his men not only have horses, they have weapons and armour.

They are no longer naked barbarians that wears thin clothing and ragged pants. They rode horses that could trample people, they wear thick armour that withstand slashes of swords and piercing of spears, and sharp weapon that could cut people

When they first fought, they had to robbed the weapon of the people they killed and the casualties in high

But with the Steppe giving support to the some of the tribe in the north, small resistance group like Tuge could grow strong.

And becoming stronger, there are more things that they could do. In the past, if they attack a villages, there would be a few dozen casualties.

These Yan people might be farmers, but they also have hoes and make shift spears

So, when they do fight these farmers, there is always a chance that they could die.

But now, it is different.

Not only they have horses, they have armours and they have arrows and sharp weapons.

The people does not have weapons that the army does. After all, the empire does not want them to rebel

Tuge after getting all of these equipment is basically like an army to these common people. They robed more villages, this time they did it faster and with lower casualties than before.

From wearing fur clothes to iron armour, Tuge develop his men and his army
