What Do You Mean I'm The Captain Of A Yandere Mercenary Company?-Chapter 490: They Want A Big Challenge
"Ahhhhh~ So gooooood~" Amber squealed while holding her cheek with her hand, her other hand holding the glass of alcohol that I made for her.
Mara was also sipping on her drink quietly with her eyes closed, clearly enjoying it as well.
On the other side, Ragbar and Valiea were… Well…
"Sniff… This… This is so beautiful… Sniff…"
"Truly… I can never ever make something like this… No matter how hard I tried…"
I sipped on my own glass as I enjoyed the cocktail I made for myself. I honestly didn't really know what I was trying to make with mine so I just winged it and it still turned out quite well even if I do say so myself.
Still… How long are those two going to cry over the drinks I made for them? I think they're basically overreacting at this point…
"And her flairs too! The flairs!! Just straight up starting with shadow pass to an over shoulder, elbow bump nest! And this is her first day!!" Ragbar cried.
Ah… Yeah… I got a little crazy with it and I was really just doing whatever crazy stuff I could think of behind the counter to see how far I could really push that perk… Which I don't even know which exact perk was helping with this anyway…
There were a few moments that I almost screwed up but then either my body would react instinctively or time would seem to slow down and allow me to actually react to the screw ups.
I also seem to have a sort of instinctual feeling of where the bottles and mixers were when I was throwing them into the air so I could even catch them without looking at them.
Seriously, whatever perk I had that was allowing me to do this is crazy. Maybe it was something like 'genius bartender' or something, I dunno.
I took another sip from my drink and the couple approached me at the same time with their hands clasped together.
"Please… Would you be willing to teach us?" Ragbar asked.
"Please?" Valiea pleaded beside her husband, both pairs of arms clasped in front of her in a begging pose.
Err… This kind of feels like the roles were suddenly flipped.
I scratched my cheek, "Umm… I mean… I don't mind teaching but it feels like we basically got our roles switched didn't we?"
Valiea sobered up really quickly after hearing that, "Ah… That's right… This was supposed to be a learning session for you to know how to flair… But we already figured out you have monstrous talents in that area so we might even be useless here. You probably could learn more on your own than with us…"
I chuckled and pulled out one of the bottles I used earlier in my mixing and spun it in my hand before balancing it on the tip of my index finger.
"That's not true," I grinned at them. "It's thanks to you two that I even have a chance to try this out. It's not like I can get access to equipment like this right? Especially these bottles that don't break even when you drop them. If I were using the normal bottles, I would be too nervous and drop them!"
Ragbar blinked at me before pointing to the bottle in my hand, "Miss Tera… That bottle would actually shatter if you dropped it."
…
What?
The bottle tipped a little and I panicked, swiping my other hand over and just managing to catch it by the neck before it fell towards the floor.
"Wait, what?! I thought she said these bottles won't break?!" I cried out.
"The training bottles, yes… The ones that are filled with water… But you used the actual alcohol bottles… Those aren't training bottles…" Ragbar explained with a grimace.
Eh? Ehhh? Ehhhhhhhh?!
You're telling me I've been tossing around actual bottles the whole entire time just now?!! I did some real crazy stunts you know?!
At one point I was even juggling two bottles with one hand while balancing another bottle on top of my head and also pouring out of another bottle with my remaining hand!! Why didn't either of you stop me?!
Arrghhh… At least I didn't actually drop any of them or broke them…
I sighed before placing the bottle back into its original spot, "Anyway… My point still stands though. I don't think I can find a fully stocked bar that I can practice behind aside from here. So no need to sell yourself short, I would not have been able to do it without your help. Anyway, you want me to teach you how to make this right?"
Unexpectedly, Valiea held up her hand, "I cannot accept this right now… Honey?"
Ragbar straightened when he heard his wife call him, "Yes dear?"
"You know what to do right?"
"You want to arrange it for tomorrow?"
"How big can you make it if it's tomorrow?"
"Hmm… I won't expect much to be honest… Probably just a little bit more than normal but that's about it."
Valiea crossed both her arms in front of her chest, "I see… In that case… If we want the best effect, how long do we have to announce it in advance?"
Ragbar crossed his arms as well, matching his wife's pose like a mirror except without the additional pair of arms that she had.
"Let me think… For the largest crowd that we can reach… Give me a week."
"Done. Make it happen," Valiea told him curtly before turning to face me again. "Miss Tera?"
"Eh? Yes?" I blurted out, a little surprised.
"We shall stage our rematch in a week's time. In that time period, you are free to make use of our home however you wish to practice your craft. I will also be doing my own training to match you before our match. Is that agreeable?"
I managed to make some guesses on what they were planning to do from their earlier conversation so I pointed a finger at them, "Hold on… Are you planning to advertise and broadcast our match or something?"
"Of course! This will probably be the biggest event this station has ever seen! And I believe my husband has also told you that there were a few Inner Colonists who have their heads stuffed up so high up their asses and can't even take a loss coming here to challenge me. This would be our way of showing them that their stupid academies are useless!"
I turned towards Amber who seemed to be deep in thought while Mara was staring at her as well.
I'm looking at her because last I remember, she didn't want my cooking skills to be shown to the universe since that might bring attention to me.
So I was expecting her to deny Valiea's request right after hearing her words but…
Amber turned to me and gave me a thumbs up with a smile, "Go ahead, Tera! We'll be sure to support you!"
Eh? Wait… Really?
She then turned to Valiea, "We just have a few conditions before we accept that though."
Valiea didn't seem surprised to hear that and nodded at her, "Let's hear them."

Amber raised a finger, "First… Tera will hide her face. In no instance will her face be shown to the crowd."
The four armed bartender hesitated for a moment, "I must apologise but… If you wish to keep Tera's identity secret, it might be a little too late for that since the people who watched the broadcast today might be able to figure out it's her due to her hair…"
I looked back at my white hair that flowed past my shoulders. I suppose this was indeed a rather distinct physical feature for me…
Ragbar chuckled, "Ahahaha! No, no, dear. They will recognise her because of something else!"
He then went to do a grabbing motion on his own chest which Valiea responded by smacking him on the back of his head with one of her hands, not even dignifying his joke with a response.
Everyone else also ignored him while I tried my best to stop myself from covering up my own chest.
"Could I know the reason why you want to cover her face in the first place?" Valiea asked.
Amber gestured at them, "You already know how troublesome it is when your fame reaches the Inner Colonies, don't you? They come out here to harass you just to try and prove something."
"Ah… In that case… Should we just cancel this?"
Amber smiled at Valiea, "It's alright. The point is to not make Tera recognisable at first glance. It's fine for the people on this station since we're pretty much out in the fringes of colonised space anyway. So even if they come to search for Tera, we would be long gone since we're not staying here permanently."
Valiea hummed before turning to me, "I understand… That can be arranged. In that case, shall I assume that we have an agreement?"
I shrugged, "I suppose so."
She reached out one of her hands and I shook it.
I'm going to have some questions I want Amber to answer later…
