Reincarnated as a Half-God with SSS Abilities
Chapter 130 - 2.7 Paradise (1)
Sora, Brie and Xander arrived in Paradise and immediately met with Athena. She showed them their new home, which was much smaller than Sora’s mansion. It was an elegant two bedroom, one story house with a large living area, two bathrooms and a great view.
Once they got settled in, they quickly got to work. Athena assisted Xander’s training while Brie and Sora were sent to identify the four universes, any other realms they could find, and locate Exteria and the other planets.
It didn’t take them long to find Exteria and their Universe, but it took about two months before they finally located all four Universes.
"I can’t believe we’ve already been up here for two months! Look at how much Xander has learned already! I wonder how everyone back home is doing. It hasn’t even been a few hours for them yet." Sora said as he hugged Brie.
"Xander shouldn’t be home for a few hours. We have time..." Brie said while she kissed Sora.
They teleported to their room and enjoyed the limitless power and sensation they experienced in Paradise. Everything seemed more enjoyable, aside from not being with the people they cared about most.
Xander slowly and sneakily identified some of the gods and goddesses who had black auras. Athena didn’t punish them yet. She wanted to make sure all of them were caught at once. She planned a full raid with the Lockhearts when the time was right.
Despite being in Paradise, time flowed for them like it would on Exteria. Each day was 24 hours, had a day and night and everyone pretty much did their own thing. The major difference was the size of the population and the unique design of Paradise. They were still finding new areas, portals to differently godly realms and made it an objective to track down the one that lead to Chronos.
Xander’s command of his abilities continued growing and when he wasn’t training, he was often out trying to understand the different universes with his parents.
"Dada, what do you think they do over there?" Xander said as he pointed to one of the large planets in a different Universe."
"Well, it looks like they’re something we’ve never seen before. They still pray to the gods and goddesses. They still have kids that go to school, even if it’s a race of slimes." Sora explained.
"What about that one Xander, what do you think they do there?" Brie pointed to a small, blue planet completely filled with water and an Aquatic race.
"Well, they live under water all the time and their Kingdom is really cool! They all look like mermaids or mermen, but they’re constantly fighting with each other. It seems like they can’t get along or decide who should lead the world." Xander said, as he stared deeply off into the distance.
"That doesn’t sound very different from Exteria, other than the water part, does it?" Sora said with a smile.
"Nope dada. You’re right. Zaza was mad that you and mama were King and Queen so he started doing terrible things. Look over there!" 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶
Sora and Brie looked at a planet that Helen, Eris, Azazel and the Titans were currently battling in super slow motion.
"What number planet is that now buddy?"
"They’re on #10. They got extra assignments after my time skip. They’ll be there for a long time. If it takes one year here for a day to pass on Exteria, I’m going to guess that they will finally be done with their objective around the time we’re ready to go home."
Brie smiled and hugged Xander, "You’ve always been a genius, but it feels good just to have family time all the time, doesn’t it?"
Xander smiled for a second, but then frowned. "I miss our other family too!"
"We do too buddy. But we have lots of new friends and family up here and your mama and I are learning what it means to be a god and goddess."
"Your dada is right Xander. At first, we were both a little sad that no one thought about us. We have to remind ourselves that they’re not going to think about us right after we leave! It’ll probably be a while up here before we hear them thinking about us or they pray to us," Brie said with a small smile. "I miss them too."
"Well, it’s getting late. You have your morning training with Athena, let’s go tuck you in buddy." Sora said while he picked Xander up and kissed him on the forehead.
They walked into his room and set him down and tucked him in, and told him a few bedtime stories until he finally fell asleep.
Brie and Sora quietly walked to their room where they changed into pajamas.
"I’m worried he’s putting too much pressure on himself to find the spies amongst us. Paradise is HUGE. I thought Nexus was big, but that place is tiny compared to Paradise. We could walk for a week and still find new things. There are so many different levels as well. It’s almost unbelievable. Thank goodness we can teleport freely," Brie said while giving Sora a kiss.
"Yes, and trying to locate every planet in the four different Universes was way more difficult than I ever imagined. Gods and goddesses don’t have an easy job. Well, you know what I mean. I wouldn’t want any other job if we lived here to be honest." Sora said after he returned his wife’s kiss.
"What do you think Athena would have us do once we’re done in Exteria?" Brie asked sadly.
"Not sure, but I really don’t want to think about that. That’s getting way ahead of ourselves. We’re still in the early stages of Paradise and we have a long way to go once we get back to Exteria."
"By the way, I made sure Athena wouldn’t allow us to have a child up here. The last thing I’d want to do is bring a child into the world up here and have him or her grow up to be 12-16 years old by the time they met our party. That would just be weird." Brie admitted.
"That was very thoughtful of you and I agree. Plus Xander deserves our attention after the way I behaved on Exteria. He’s such a great kid. Why does Lox freak him out so much, though? I thought he would be super excited to meet him."
"I’m not sure but Lox has been acting weird ever since we got here. Your parents were SO happy to see us and meet Xander and your Earth mother was as well. Then came the thousands of years worth of my ancestors who are here! That was crazy!" Brie smiled. "It was so nice to feel so loved by so many kind souls. The stories! Oh my gosh!"
"Yes, you have an amazing family. Luna was so happy to see us too. I’m glad she’s doing ok. She seemed really depressed at first. There aren’t very many of her family members up here. I wonder if they’ve always been working with the demons?"
"Well, she has us now and I’m glad she meets up with us to hang out all the time! I’m sure it’s not exactly easy for her yet. I’m sure she’ll get used to it!"
"Well, enough of this talking thing, you mentioned we can’t have a baby so...."
Sora started kissing Brie’s neck and she gladly laid back and accepted the attention. They didn’t find it a coincidence they had sound proof walls in their house in Paradise as well.
