The Super Bodyguard of the Beautiful CEO
Chapter 1203 - 1218: The School Beauty’s Trouble
The women at home all love watching Korean dramas, so Lin Mu suddenly wanted to challenge himself. Why do others get hooked, while he gets sleepy as soon as he watches a Korean drama? No way, he had to challenge himself, so Lin Mu forced himself to watch about an hour of a Korean drama.
Damn, a bunch of small-eyed dudes! Haha, he actually didn’t fall asleep this time, though Sophie still hadn’t returned to the room. Lin Mu had to grit his teeth and keep watching, seeing how those small-eyed guys chase those coquettish cuties. Damn, their dating strategies aren’t that clever! Anyway, Lin Mu felt he was much more skilled than those small-eyed guys!
Though it was super boring and dull, there was no choice but to pass the time. An hour passed, then two, then three...
Lin Mu felt really sleepy. It’s not just at night; lying in bed watching TV dramas for a few hours during the day would make him sleepy too. Plus, Korean dramas are particularly boring. If it weren’t for the boredom, Lin Mu really wanted to smash the TV.
Several hours had passed, and Sophie still hadn’t returned to the room to rest. Lin Mu checked the time, and it was already one in the morning.
Lin Mu got up and left the room. He saw Sophie still at her desk working. Seeing this, Lin Mu couldn’t help but be amazed. He thought it’s no wonder Sophie achieved such impressive results; there’s nothing accidental about it! It’s all a result of her hard work and youthful energy!
People only see her shining exterior, but who has seen her working late into the night? If Lin Mu hadn’t seen it himself, he wouldn’t have believed it. It really was past one in the morning!
"Why aren’t you sleeping yet?" Sophie looked up and glared at Lin Mu, asking.
"I came to check on you. Do you know what time it is? Leave unfinished work for tomorrow; it’s not too late! Nighttime is for resting, finish the rest tomorrow, alright?" Lin Mu spoke seriously because he truly felt sorry for Sophie.
"You go back to the room and rest. I’m almost done, then I’ll go to the room to rest." Sophie said while yawning, her eyes were very hazy, clearly showing that she was exhausted.
"Go rest first. Look at how tired you are, it can wait until tomorrow." Lin Mu still spoke sympathetically. At this point, Sophie was already in control of Su’s Great Enterprise Group, some of the less important tasks could be handed to subordinates, just like his Flying Dragon Group, which has a large industrial chain, but he basically doesn’t deal with trivial matters, he delegates all the work. If troubles arise, go to the responsible person in that area, it’s a simple matter! Why couldn’t the incredibly smart Sophie think of this?
Of course, perhaps it was because everything came too easily to Lin Mu, while Sophie worked hard with her own ability, she cherished every step she took.
"Almost done, you go rest." Sophie was very tired but didn’t intend to rest.
Lin Mu was helpless, his woman was so tired, how could he sleep soundly? Lin Mu simply sat on the sofa to accompany Sophie.
An hour later, Sophie stretched, "Finally, my tasks are done."
Lin Mu was also very sleepy. If there was something to do, staying up the night wouldn’t be a problem, but sitting idly like this was tiring to death. Hearing Sophie was finally done, he felt finally liberated.
"Feifei, do you work this late every night?" Lin Mu got up and asked Sophie.
"Almost every night by around ten o’clock. Tonight I had more things to do, so I worked until now." Sophie said.
"Just delegate some tasks to your subordinates; you’re too exhausted." Lin Mu said with concern.
"No worries, I’m used to it. I feel assured handling things myself." Sophie smiled gracefully and demurely.
Lin Mu shook his head helplessly and returned to the room with Sophie.
Seeing how tired Sophie was, Lin Mu couldn’t bear to do the things he liked, he just wanted her to rest well and get more sleep. Sophie changed into pajamas, then lay down, and Lin Mu quickly embraced her and slept. Although they didn’t do anything that night, Lin Mu slept very comfortably hugging Sophie.
The next morning, when Lin Mu woke up, Sophie wasn’t in the room. Looking at the time, it was only a bit after seven. Why would the beautiful CEO get up so early? To work again? Damn, why such hard work? Lin Mu suddenly felt a dislike for working.
Lin Mu put on clothes, walked out of the room; Sophie had already prepared breakfast.
"I made this myself; give it a try. Don’t blame me if it’s not good because I rarely cook for men, except for Grandpa." Sophie smiled gracefully and demurely again.
Looking at the sumptuous breakfast on the table, Lin Mu felt indescribable. Sure, there are many strong women in the world, but he had never seen one like Sophie, beautiful, meticulous, and good at cooking. Suddenly, Lin Mu felt a surge of happiness.
"It looks appetizing, let me taste it." Lin Mu smiled charmingly and then reached for the food.
Sophie slapped Lin Mu’s hand, "Go wash up first, keep it hygienic, okay?"
"Uh... okay." Lin Mu smiled charmingly again and quickly went to the bathroom to clean up.
After washing up, he joined Sophie for breakfast. Actually, it was Lin Mu’s first time having breakfast with Sophie, and he had to admit Sophie’s culinary skills were indeed good.
After breakfast, Sophie exercised in the gym for a while before going to work. Lin Mu accompanied Sophie for a bit when his phone suddenly rang. He checked the call; it was An Qi’Er.
"Hey, good morning, An Qi’Er!" Lin Mu smiled and answered the call.
"Brother Lin, I..." An Qi’Er said with difficulty.
Lin Mu could hear something was wrong with An Qi’Er’s tone. Surely there’s something going on, so he asked, "What’s up? You can tell me anything; no worries."
"I’m in trouble." An Qi’Er’s voice was as soft as a mosquito.
"What trouble? Tell me, don’t be afraid, any difficulties, your brother will solve for you." Lin Mu said.
"The deputy principal of our school, Fang Shiren, who is Fang Zhongxin’s uncle, just spoke to me, saying the grades of my class have declined recently, and he wants me to take a break for a while." An Qi’Er said very aggrievedly.
"Damn," Lin Mu said angrily, "Damn, that old bastard, wait there at school for a bit, I’ll come over immediately."
"Brother Lin, don’t fight, okay?" An Qi’Er said concerned. She didn’t want to tell Lin Mu because she was scared he would hit Fang Shiren. An Qi’Er wasn’t worried about Fang Shiren; she was afraid Fang Shiren would call the police to arrest Lin Mu. Clearly, An Qi’Er’s concern was needless; he feared nothing.
