[BL] Debut in Interstellar After Retiring as Grim Reaper-Chapter 122: Talk

Chapter 122: Talk
From what he had seen about Qin An’s personality, it can obviously be perceived that he is a person who has deep experience on many things. It’s just that they found it unbelievable due to his young age and blank information. He wasn’t even knowledgeable about many common things such as mental pollution or even the simple things in life so it was very contrasting and they couldn’t find any clue about him.
How does he seem so knowledgeable about the things they don’t know yet so naive at the same time?
And now hearing the real reason behind his contrasting personality made He Li’s cold face crack.
More than a thousand years... he couldn’t even count nor remember how long he lived anymore.
"..."
Seeing his silence made Qin An sigh. If they would change his age to a legal age, that would be even more questionable and they have to find reasons why, which was another trouble that he doesn’t want to add in his life.
In the end, the two decided to leave the matter about the age. For the rest of their conversation, Qin An also took this chance to tell him about Xiaopang, the first ghost he met aside from Black. His matters must be address so he won’t hurt anybody especially Lu Nanxiao.
"The truth must come out and those who did have to pay the price. Besides, Lu Nanxiao’s body has been harmed many times already and this affected his body."
He Li nods. "I will investigate this."
He went silent for a few seconds before asking Qin An.
"If you could still see the souls who died a long time ago, does that mean you can also see others, right?"
Qin An raises his brow. Isn’t it obvious? He doesn’t believe he didn’t realize this.
"Under what circumstances can you see them? Do you have to go to where they died or will they just pop up suddenly?"
Qin An crosses his arms. "You can say what you want directly."
"The soldiers who died in the military—"
"Did you consider not forcing me because I am just a minor or not because I can help you?" Qin An cut him off and the temperature around him dropped.
"What is happening inside your military is not my business, only the dead, Marshal." His eyes narrowed. "I won’t consider helping you if you only want me to help you solve your problems inside. I am not your soldier."
"..." He Li didn’t speak. Qin An stood up from his seat and put his one hand inside his pocket.
"The soldiers who died from the war, I can help send them to where they have to. The soldiers who died from your enemies, I can help you so they can have justice and leave, but those whom you wanted to see just to solve unnecessary things inside your military is not my business. They died because they were soldiers themselves who knew the consequences. Seeing them just to outsmart your enemies is not what a Marshal does, aren’t you?"
Qin An is actually not angry. He also encountered a dead soldier in the past who wanted to make his commander dream about him so he could tell the secrets he found before he died but Qin An did not approve. It’s not because he doesn’t want to fulfill the soldier’s unfinished business but if he does that, will humans let others die just to find some secrets when they want to?
It’s like sending a soldier to uncover some truths and not care if they died so just to let you dream what could benefit you or letting a ghost discover a secret for you?
Even if these secrets will lead to a truth, if it could disrupt the balance between the good and evil and challenge their fate, grim reapers cannot do that.
What will happen to humans is what resulted from all the actions they took. They are just grim reapers who will fulfill the deepest wish inside their hearts so they can leave without any regrets and create a new beginning for their next life. Whether they want to send a good farewell or create a harmful revenge for those who hurt them, everything must have a boundary they must not cross.
There are some things in life that must leave to fate.
"I will wait for your results."
Qin An didn’t wait for He Li to answer him anymore and just walked outside the room. He didn’t even bother to greet Ji Wen who was waiting outside and just walked away to go back to the training room.
Ji Wen got confused and was slightly worried when he saw the young man seemed to be in a bad mood. The door was opened again and He Li was revealed.
The Marshal didn’t say anything and just looked at the back of the young man leaving.
This sight made him even more worried. Why do they look like they just quarrel? Did the Marshal say something to the young man?
He Li didn’t care about the worried gaze of his Secretary. He just stayed still for a few seconds before also walking away to leave the training camp directly with his mind filled with unknown thoughts. freeweɓnovēl.coɱ

Meanwhile, when Qin An went back to the training room he noticed the atmosphere was very light and they seemed to start already.
All of them notice him as they stop talking and turn their heads.
Xing Ren looked at him with a slight worry but didn’t say anything because he knew that the young man is not very open about his private life.
But not the others.
"Classmate Qin, you seem to be worried about something. Are you okay?" Bai Yue asked but Qin An just casually responded that there was nothing.
Yet how could Bai Yue let the matter slip?
"Classmate Qin, don’t be afraid of sharing your problems and maybe we can help you. We are older than you so you can treat us as your older brothers, right?" Bai Yue smiles and looks at him as if he was looking at his younger brother, consoling him.
"There are some things that you cannot handle because you are still young but after all, you can also decide what you want to do. We are just here to support."
"... There’s nothing wrong." Qin An still answered no but the other trainees seemed to burst out again.
"Why don’t you just say it when Senior just wants to help you?"
"Yeah, I’m sure Senior can advise or even help with your problem. He is very good at everything."
"Are you acting all mighty again, right? Your arrogance is not needed in this group. Senior already advises you to be transparent and open so we can build our team better and stronger but you seem to act cold again. Is this how you treat his sincerity for you?"
"Senior just wants to comfort you because he treats you as a younger brother, why are you so stubborn?"
Even when he hasn’t said anything yet, the members seems to love adding fire and constantly send him uncomfortable words ahead.
"..."
Xing Ren wants to open his mouth and defend him but can’t due to their aggressive tone while Han Suwen didn’t speak and was just looking at what’s happening.
Qin An wants to exhale a loud breath when he was in the same situation in his last group wherein everyone seems to circle around him again.
His eyes narrowed. What does Bai Yue want from him?
Just as he was thinking about speaking, the door was knocked again and it revealed Shen Lou.
The young man looked at the heated situation coldly and everyone shut their mouths when they noticed his sharpness.
However, different from them, Qin An is now focusing on one thing.
He is now seeing another dark mist forming to a familiar shape of a human again.
It’s clearly a ghost... and it apparently came from Bai Yue himself.
