Chapter 119: Is it supposed to feel like that?
"W-What are you-" Cass stuttered and Draken’s lips turned up slightly.
"Aren’t you curious?" Draken whispered. "How it would feel?" His gaze slid from Cass’ lips up to his gaze, and Cass felt his mouth part slightly.
"Draken, that’s-" Draken leaned in closer.
"It’s Lucian, baby." Draken whispered before his lips brushed Cass’. Cass gasped, surprised as Draken’s hand on the back of his head flexed, his fingers digging into Cass’ hair as Draken groaned. "Fuck." Draken murmured against Cass’ lips and Cass felt a shiver run down his spine. Draken pressed their lips against each other harder, with a bit more force.
Before had been a gentle touch, electrifying for the both of them. Now, Draken was more firm, his lips oddly soft as they pressed against Cass’. His heart was racing in his chest, his eyes closed as Draken’s fingers stroked his skin, making him shiver.
His stomach was in knots. This feeling was so foreign to him he wasn’t sure what to do. This had only really happened twice before, so he had no idea what was going on. The way Draken was pressed against him, the feel of the warm air leaving his nostrils as he remained so close, his hands on Cass’ body, all of it felt...
Going from the hug and touches that felt intimate, it made this moment feel strange, different. It was completely different from when Vespertine had kissed him. Draken pulled his lips away from Cass’ leaning in carefully, waiting for Cass to open his eyes before he gently took Cass’ bottom lip in between his teeth.
"Do you like it?" Cass could feel a warm tingly feeling in his gut, knowing damn well what it meant. His face flushed, embarrassed as he reacted to Draken’s kiss. He was distressed thinking that Draken would find out about his reaction from the one way bond.
"I-I don’t know." Cass admitted. He didn’t think he was lying, since his emotions were so all over the place. He knew he shouldn’t be kissing Draken. He shouldn’t be kissing anyone, but Draken’s orange gaze warmed, his cheeks creasing as he smiled and Cass let out a shaky breath.
"Well, we’ll just have to do it more until you have made a decision." Draken whispered seductively, pulling Cass’ head forward as Cass gasped and Draken took that time to do something Cass hadn’t even considered.
Draken tried to kiss him deeper, with his tongue.
Cass panicked, his body jerking at the slightly slippery, completely unexpected touch. Cass wasn’t an idiot. He’d read before. He knew what a French kiss was, but he had never-what the-
"W-Why is it so slippery?" Cass exclaimed, bewildered. Draken paused, before he bent, pressing his head against Cass’ shoulders, his own shaking.
"I should have done this sooner." Draken muttered, his whole body shaking as he laughed. "You’re so dangerously cute." Cass felt his own breath was too hot, too warm as it left his mouth. He wanted to touch his lips, the feeling of Draken’s tongue there too little, too short for him to really get an idea of what had happened. Vespertine hadn’t even broached the idea, but Draken hadn’t hesitated.
Cass wasn’t sure how he felt about that.
When Draken raised his head again, he looked over Cass’ face, before a wicked grin touched his lips. "You want to do it again." Draken accused, and Cass felt his mouth open in his defense, but he had no idea what to say. Draken’s chest rumbled, and he stuck his tongue out, showing it off to Cass.
Cass blinked slowly, realising his tongue was...his tongue was...That wasn’t normal, was it? Cass hadn’t seen many other human tongues, but they shouldn’t look like that, should they? Feeling his brow furrow, Draken chuckled, slipping his tongue back into his own mouth before he leaned in, his lips brushing against Cass’ ear.
"It feels good in other places too." Cass thought he was going to have a heart attack.
"We are not going there." Cass told him firmly, even if his voice was faint and hoarse. Draken chuckled.
"I have a month to convince you. I’m going to prove that I’m the best option. The only option." Draken’s words almost felt like a threat. He pulled back, his gaze falling to Cass’ lips again. "For now, I just want to taste you again." He glanced up at Cass’s gaze, checking in with him for a moment before he tenderly kissed Cass’ lips again.
Cass didn’t know what to do.
The man was holding him carefully, like he was going to break at any touch while his lips covered his own. He tried to kiss him deeper again, but Cass was too awkward. Draken didn’t get upset like he thought he would, and instead just chuckled against Cass’ lips.
"We’ll work up to it." He told him instead, and that confidence, that belief that he would be able to do this again with Cass had his stomach in even more knots. Cass felt like he was going to get indigestion from how wildly his stomach was behaving.
His heart was racing, his body felt warm, his breathing felt funny. He’d never had to learn how to control his breathing through his nose since he’d never kissed anyone for a length of time before. Draken was patient, something Cass didn’t think was in the man’s repertoire. He taught Cass without prejudice, without much teasing. Cass could feel it in the way he was looking at him, his orange gaze warm as he gently told Cass, with his lips against his own, how to manage his breaths.
Cass hated to admit it, but the man was a good teacher. Even when it came to something like this. Cass wondered how many people had he kissed like this if this was how well he was able to teach him. That thought would have thrown cold water on his feelings, his emotions if it wasn’t for the fact that Draken was looking at him like a snack he wanted to take his time eating.
Like he wanted to savor every last damn bite.
Cass didn’t know how long they had been entangled like this, a soft little sigh leaving his mouth at one point that apparently drove Draken mad, but eventually a knock sounded at the door.
"My Lord? Byron told me to knock before I came back. Is everything alright?" It was Sam, and Draken pulled away, his gaze dancing, smug, as he realised that Cass was flushed, his lips wet from his kisses, and he probably looked like he’d gotten up to something he shouldn’t have.
Draken, for his part, didn’t look any different. He had colour on his cheeks, his lips were slightly swollen too, but he looked like a cat who had gotten into the cream. Pleased, confident, glowing.
"J-Just a minute, Sam!" Cass called, his voice cracking, and Draken pressed his head against Cass’ shoulder again, laughing silently. Cass felt embarrassment fill him, flooding his system as he wanted the ground to open up and swallow him whole.
"We should just let him in. It’ll be less suspicious, and it’s better for Sam to get used to this." Cass sputtered at Draken’s words. freewebnσvel.cøm
"Why would I-" Cass started and Draken raised his gaze, staring at Cass until his mouth closed.
"Cassian," Draken started, "you didn’t push me away." Cass gasped as he realised that unfortunately, Draken was right. Cass hadn’t done that at all.
He could have, even if he didn’t have full use of his hands right now. If Cass had really not wanted Draken to kiss him, he could have thrown a fit, yelled, shouted for Byron to come in and stop him, hell, he could have tried to use his new magic powers to push him away. Instead, he’d let the dragon have his way with him, and realising that was infinitely more embarrassing than anything they had just done.
Draken looked even more smug, his grin bright, giant.
"I-I-" Cass was left stunned, and Draken leaned in, kissing the tip of his nose. Cass jerked at the quick touch, and Draken laughed.
"I’m learning, aren’t I? You only like pecks for now. I’ll turn you to the dark side of deeper kisses soon. I want you to swoon every time I kiss you. I’m so excited to find out what makes your legs go weak." Draken whispered, his eyes bright, his lips slightly swollen, and Cass swallowed.
Had he...had he become Draken’s newest curiousity? Oh. Oh no.
Cass felt himself swallow thickly, and Draken pulled him closer, giving him a gentle, but firm squeeze before he pulled back slowly, extracting his hands and warmth from him. Cass felt the loss almost immediately, and frowned.
Draken burst into laughter at the expression on his face, leaning in to press a kiss against his lips before he stood up, grabbing his chair. He made sure Cass was watching him as he openly adjusted his cock in his pants. Cass’ face flushed and Draken let out a bark of laughter, loud and joyous as Cass tried to turn away from him, embarrassed.
This man was infuriating. He just did whatever he wanted, all the time! Cass was just trying to survive in this world and this man was throwing a wrench into all of his plans. He fucking hoped that Lord Blackburn had liked what Draken had done to him, since Cass was going to do his best to avoid this man from this point on.
He was going to have to train Byron to learn what Draken sounded like as he approached, and have him whisk him away as soon as he heard him. Maybe he was going to start using the staircase in his office for his own use.
To get away from Draken.
Cass felt his lips twitch as he imagined that, before allowing Sam inside the room.
Sam entered like a nervous animal, glancing around the room as Draken settled himself onto the couch, picking up a book from the stack nearby and opening it lazily. Draken was all smiles, clearly pleased about what he’d just gotten up to, while Cass was trying desperately to gather himself and have some form of respectability.
"I trust you behaved, Lord Draken?" Sam asked carefully and Draken burst into laughter.
"Only someone as bold as you would dare to ask me that, Sam." Draken’s laughing gaze slid to Sam, before he glanced at Cass and his gaze crinkled up as he grinned. "And absolutely not." He responded, laughing as Cass sighed.
He was going to be happy when he had his hands back, so he could bury his face in them again.
