Born Into Villain's Family: I Have a 200\% Rebate System-Chapter 23: Seat
Chapter 23: Chapter 23: Seat
"That was it," Olivia said nonchalantly. "Now go and sleep."
Aurora stared at the injury mark and asked,
"But? Why did no one believe you? Why did Siya not stand up for you?"
Olivia laughed bitterly, her eyes turning moist as she ruffled Aurora’s hair and explained,
"Because Aurora, they consisted of a variety of people. Some were dumb and fell for Natasha’s trick, some were smart but didn’t see the need to stand up, some were going with the flow, some were cowards, some didn’t care, and some cared but didn’t have enough courage to stand for me."
She looked at the sky and smiled,
"Do you know how I felt at that time? I wanted every one of them to suffer. So what if I wore a knockoff? Did I commit a crime?
They said I was insulting the real designer by wearing knockoffs, but did I? You know why knockoffs were made in the first place?
It was for people who desire to have something like the VJ ring but can’t afford it. Does that make us low-grade? Nope. It just shows that we appreciate the art.
As for others beating me...did they truly think I wouldn’t recognize Miller’s and his cronies’ voices? But maybe they wanted me to know...and hence didn’t bother to hide their identity."
Aurora’s gaze lowered to the ground, a dark glint flashed in her eyes. She clenched her fist tightly and dug her nails into the palms of her hands.
Her mind was filled with the scenes of how her sister eventually turned into the white moonlight of the third male lead.
She would love Mateo, but due to his poor background never be with him. Yet she kept him on the hook.
So much so, that Mateo would take in stand-ins who just look like Olivia. Eventually, Mateo’s real identity as a billionaire would be revealed and Olivia would try to return to him by faking an illness.
In the end, she contracts a real illness, and all of her evil deeds and how she had tried to frame the second female lead time and time again, would be exposed.
She will die because of stomach cancer.
Aurora clenched her fist.
She didn’t want her sister to walk down the same path. Suddenly she thought of something and said,
"But sister, the ring is truly a real VJ ring."
Olivia frowned,
"What?"
"The ring is real, you can check on the website." Aurora urged.
Olivia, uncertain, turned on her phone and checked the website. When she saw the same design ring on the official website, her eyes widened.
"F*ck."
A hint of complex emotion flashed in her eyes.
The reason why she didn’t dare to fight back fiercely, was because she wasn’t even sure the ring was real or not.
After all, Rose had already said that the ring wasn’t real. And Olivia believed her.
Now...
"So I was played by Rose..." Olivia muttered. A glint appeared in her eyes before she smiled...
Her smile was laced with cruelty.
Olivia wasn’t the type to endure insults and beating for no reason.
"Sister, what are you going to do now?" Aurora asked.
"Nothing. You have solved a very big problem for me. I will manage from here onwards." Olivia ruffled Aurora’s head.
For the first time in the entire day, she wasn’t forcing herself to smile.
Aurora nodded and gave Olivia a thumbs-up.
However, she had her own ideas, too.
"Sister you have poor taste in men and best friend." Aurora suddenly commented.
After all, the future second female lead was Olivia’s best friend too.
Olivia: "..."
"Can’t you sympathize a little bit and not be so blunt?" Olivia asked with hurt in her eyes.
Aurora shook her head with seriousness, "If I sympathize with you now, who will correct you?"
Olivia: "..." Too on point!
"You little monster needs to be taken care of," Olivia muttered extending her hand in Aurora’s direction.
Sensing the danger, Aurora quickly dodged and started running.
Olivia chased behind her and shouted,
"Hey! Aurora, don’t run like that, you look like an alien on the run from NASA."
Aurora: "..." So hateful.
At last, Olivia captured Aurora and tickled her for a good 2 minutes.
By the end, both of them’s face was flushed red. They were laughing, shedding the gloom lurking on them...
Unbeknownst to them, a shadow had heard everything they had talked about.
When both of them returned, Aurora found a medicinal box and tried to apply medicine, but Olivia stopped her and said,
"Don’t. They will be useful later."
Aurora didn’t argue.
.....................................
The next day.
Olivia woke up and put on makeup. She skillfully hides the bruise and other marks.
If anyone from her school saw her, they wouldn’t know about the bruise at all.
She appeared completely fine.
Slinging her bag, she started walking toward her high school. There were only a few days left before her high school would announce summer vacation.
She was going to make full use of her day.
Just as she reached the entrance, she met Siya.
Unlike the previous time, she didn’t flash a smile at Olivia, nor did she jog up to her. Instead, she averted her gaze as if Olivia didn’t exist for her.
Olivia’s heart ached...this was the best friend she had made...the one who would leave her as long as she, Olivia wasn’t praised.
The journey to her classroom was even more daunting. The students were avoiding her as if she were a plague.
Olivia swallowed the lump forming in her throat.
Her determination to execute her plan was fueled by the treatment she was receiving.
As she made her way to her regular seat, another figure occupied it. She was none other than Kira.
"Hey b*tch, you won’t mind if I take the seat, right?"
Olivia glared at Kira, who suddenly showed a fearful expression,
"What are you going to push me and scratch me like you scratched Natasha?"
