Hero Hack: Reversing Heroes and Raising Harem-Chapter 156: Oops! All Corpses
Chapter 156: Oops! All Corpses
The three remaining A-Rank villains stood close together now, their grins slowly fading.
They realized the girls had suddenly changed.
The bear-shifter looked around, his breathing heavy. "Where did the rest of your girls go?"
The rat-shifter glanced behind him, tail twitching. "They’re surrounding us..."
The bony man narrowed his eyes. "This isn’t normal. They’re moving different now."
The girls then stepped in closer.
Their glow brightened. The ground beneath them shimmered faintly.
Velra’s teachings were kicking in.
The squad leader gave a simple command. "End it."
The girls moved.
One dashed forward, her knife flashing.
The rat-shifter tried to dodge, but she was already behind him.
She sliced across his thigh.
He yelped and jumped back, blood dripping.
"What the hell—she wasn’t that fast before!"
Another girl struck the bear-shifter across the side with a heavy kick.
His thick arm blocked it, but he still stumbled back, surprised.
The bone controller tried to raise his spikes again, but two girls flanked him from both sides.
One ducked under his bone strike, the other leapt over it, and both slashed his arms with perfect timing.
The villains started backing up.
Their confidence cracked.
The rat-shifter growled. "They’re too fast!"
The bear-shifter roared, slamming the ground to create space.
"We’re not losing to girls in suits!"
"You already are," the leader said, voice calm.
She jumped in, her foot slamming into the bear-shifter’s chest.
He slid back into a broken wall.
Another girl spun and kicked the rat-shifter hard in the side, causing him to drop to one knee.
The bony villain threw a spike—wild, desperate.
One girl knocked it aside with her elbow and dashed in.
Her blade sank into his side.
He screamed and swung blindly.
She ducked, stepped in again, and stabbed his leg.
He fell.
The girls didn’t stop.
Their movements were sharp, their faces cold. One by one, they struck.
The bear-shifter’s legs gave out. His wounds too deep now.
The rat-shifter tried to run, but one girl used Quick Step, appeared in front of him.
She then kicked him in the stomach, sending him flying back into the others.
The villains were cornered.
They panted, bleeding, faces twisted with panic.
The bony man gasped, "W-We didn’t expect this..."
The rat-shifter held his side.
"This isn’t normal... they’re not just strong... they’re trained."
The bear-shifter gritted his teeth. "Who the hell are you people?!"
The squad leader walked forward slowly, wiping her blade on her leg.
"We are the Heavenly Demon Sect."
She pointed her knife toward them.
"And you’re done."
The girls closed in, silent and sharp as shadows.
The villains, once laughing and confident, now could only tremble.

On the other side of the zone, far from the battlefield, a small group of A-Rank heroes walked through a broken street near BC-4.
Their uniforms were official, but their faces showed arrogance, not duty.
Two of them laughed loudly as they kicked over a vendor cart.
"Oops," one of them said, smirking. "Guess that was in the way."
A scared old man bowed low, trembling. "P-please... that was all I had..."
The lead hero, a tall man with a red scarf, stepped forward.
"You shouldn’t leave junk like that out here," he said coldly.
Another hero reached down, grabbed a bag of fruit, and tossed one into his mouth.
"Tastes bad," he said, spitting it out on the ground.
A young woman nearby tried to help the old man gather his goods.
One of the heroes grabbed her wrist.
"Where do you think you’re going, huh?" he said with a grin.
She pulled back, but he tightened his grip.
"I like the brave ones," he said.
"Stop it, please," the old man begged. "She’s just trying to help."
The hero pushed him down roughly.
"Shut up, old man. You should be grateful we even let you live in this zone."
Another hero chuckled. "We work hard. We deserve respect."
The girl’s eyes filled with tears, but she didn’t scream.
"Let her go," a small boy said from behind a pile of rubble.
One of the heroes turned toward him and laughed.
"And what are you gonna do, little rat?"
The boy stepped forward, fists clenched. "She didn’t do anything."
Another hero snorted. "He thinks he’s brave."
"Cute," the third said. "Wanna play hero now, kid?"
Before the boy could speak again, the lead hero walked over and slapped him hard across the face.
The boy fell to the ground.
The girl screamed, "Stop! He’s just a child!"
The hero didn’t listen. He kicked the boy in the stomach.
"Shut up," he growled. "This is what happens when brats talk back."
The boy gasped for air, curling up.
Another hero joined in and kicked him again, laughing. "Not so brave now, huh?" freeweɓnovēl.coɱ
The civilians nearby looked away, scared to say anything.
The girl cried quietly, still held by the arm.
"Please," she begged, "you’ll kill him!"
The heroes didn’t stop.
To them, power meant control.
But suddenly—a knife flew through the air and struck the hero’s hand.
"Argh!" the hero shouted, flinching as the knife sliced across his palm.
The blade left a thin red line, and his fingers twitched from the sudden pain.
He stumbled back, shock spreading across his face.
The boy, finally free, scrambled to his feet.
Without looking back, he grabbed the girl’s hand, and they both ran behind a broken cart, hiding in silence.
The other heroes stepped into defensive stances, eyes scanning the shadows.
"Who the hell threw that?!"
"Show yourself!"
They looked around, tense now.
From the end of the street, three figures walked forward slowly.
All women.
Each wore a tight black and red suit lined with faintly glowing patterns that pulsed with energy.
Their eyes were sharp. Cold. Unforgiving.
They stopped a few steps away from the heroes, standing tall and silent for a moment.
Then the one in front spoke.
"Beating a child? Even as villains, we wouldn’t sink that low."
She tilted her head slightly, smiling without warmth.
"That’s why you’ll make such fine corpses—for our master."
