Hero Hack: Reversing Heroes and Raising Harem-Chapter 173: So That’s What a Class Looks Like…
Chapter 173: So That’s What a Class Looks Like...
Zain sat on his couch again, legs kicked up.
His eyes were focused straight ahead, but his mind was racing.
Now that the system’s updated...
It should know more about [Classes], right?
He raised a hand, flicked through his system menu, and grinned.
"System," he said aloud,
"Give me the full description of Skybrand’s class."
He paused, smirking to himself.
"Her class is [Skybrand Duelist], isn’t it?"
The system responded with a soft hum.
Then, text began to appear before his eyes.
---
[Class: Skybrand Duelist]
[Active Abilities:]
[Skybrand Shift: Grow wings and fly fast. Every move launches you. Every attack sends out air blasts. You stay in the air, hit hard, and stay hard to catch.]
[Ascension Slash: Spin upward with a strong slash. Hit enemies along the way, then drop with a heavy strike that cracks the ground and lets you keep attacking.]
[Gale Rift Cutter: Send out a wide blade of wind. It slices the ground, pushes enemies back, and knocks flying ones down. Great for clearing space.]
[Skyline Execution: Teleport behind enemies midair and slash. If they fall, you teleport again and keep going. No stopping, just hit after hit.]
[Passive Traits:]
[Aerial Supremacy: In the air, you’re faster, stronger, and harder to hit. You react better and hit harder the more space you have.]
[Flashstep Reflex: If someone targets you, you blink away fast. No delay. As long as you have energy, you can keep doing it.]
[Momentum Streak: Keep moving and your attacks hit harder. Stop and it resets. Move again to power up.]
[Weaknesses:]
[Bad in Tight Spaces: If you can’t fly, like in small rooms or caves, you lose your edge.]
[Weak Body: You don’t wear armor. If someone hits you during a blink or makes you stop, you go down fast.]
[Anti-Air Trouble: Zones that block flying or blinking shut you down. If you’re forced to stop moving, you’re done.]
---
Zain leaned forward as the last line appeared.
"Whoa," he said, blinking a few times.
"So this is a [Class], huh?"
He scrolled through the data again.
"Three [Passive Traits], four [Active Abilities]..."
"Yeah, this is the real deal."
He laughed a bit. "She really is a sky fighter."
"Every ability is about flying, blinking, or slicing something from above."
Zain scratched his head.
"No wonder Velra looked like a volleyball during that fight."
"She had no chance up there."
He leaned back with a grin.
"But still... System, I gotta give it to you."
He pointed to the screen. "You even included her weaknesses."
He chuckled, eyes narrowing slightly.
"Bad in tight spaces, weak defense, and can’t handle anti-air fields?"
He rubbed his chin.
"With this... Skybrand can be handled."
He stood up, stretched, and walked to the window.
The night air was cool.
Zain looked up at the stars.
"I just need to push a little more... get my own class."
Zain clenched his fist.
"Taking up the top spot will be easier than before."
---
Zain walked through the secret entrance of the Heavenly Demon Sect’s underground base.
As usual, the girls at the gate immediately recognized him.
They bowed deeply and stepped aside.
"Welcome back, Master," one said.
"Please, this way," another added, leading him through the passage.
Zain followed calmly, hands in his pockets.
But as he stepped into the main chamber, his eyes narrowed.
Injuries.
He saw bruises. Torn clothes. Bandaged arms.
Even Velra was sitting on a stone bench, holding her side with a tight expression.
The atmosphere was quiet, too quiet.
Velra stood as he approached, lowering her head.
"Master," she said softly, "we’re sorry."
Zain raised an eyebrow. "Sorry for what?"
"We came back like this," she said.
She was gesturing toward the other girls.
"We lost... against someone stronger."
Zain’s eyes scanned the group again.
Some were limping. A few leaned on each other.
He sighed and cracked his neck.
"Don’t worry about it," he said. "Let me take care of this."
Without another word, he raised his hand.

---
A soft glow spread from Zain’s palm, washing over every girl in the chamber.
Velra blinked, watching as her pain faded.
One by one, the bruises vanished, the torn muscles repaired, and the energy returned to their bodies.
They straightened their backs.
Velra took a deep breath and sat down slowly, now looking relaxed.
"Thank you, Master," she said with a small smile.
Then her expression turned serious again.
"I never thought they’d send an [AA-Rank Hero] this time."
Zain folded his arms. "They did?"
Velra nodded. "And not just any AA. She had a [Class]."
Zain tried to keep his face calm, but inside, he was surprised.
So even Velra knows about classes?
He forced a casual tone. "You know about [Class]?"
Velra tilted her head slightly, confused.
"Of course, Master."
"A [Class] is the next stage beyond [Mid-Tier Abilities]."
"All high nobles know about it. You know too, right?"
Zain froze for exactly half a second.
Then he coughed lightly and placed a hand on his hip.
"Of course I do know about [Class]," he said with a confident nod.
"The thing that can be awakened if you have a good bloodline and talent."
"Very elite stuff."
Velra smiled. "Yes, Master. That’s what I learned too."
She crossed her arms.
"But still..."
"I never thought the Hero Association would send someone with a [Class]."
Zain nodded slowly. "Yeah... bold move."
But in his mind?
Whew... thank god Blazren explained it to me before I came here.
He glanced at Velra, still smiling like he was some ancient genius of the world.
If I walked in here blind and she asked about [Class]...
I’d be the most embarrassed ’Master’ in history.
He looked at the other girls, who all stood silently nearby, waiting for orders.
He kept smiling.
Act smart, Zain. Act noble. You’re supposed to be the Heavenly Demon.
Then he casually stretched his arms.
"Anyway... now that I’ve confirmed your info," he said, trying to sound cool, "let’s talk next steps."
Velra nodded quickly. "Yes, Master."
She didn’t know he was faking every word.
