Ravi paused and pulled the phone from his ears for a second before placing it back, "I apologize."

The two of them were silent for a second and Arlen asked, "Do you want to go out on a date with me?"

Ravi blinked, confused, "Aren’t we already dating?"

The other side of the line was silent for a second, "I meant I want to take you out tonight. Let’s go out, maybe see a movie, a nice restaurant. I know this fun game stall."

With each word he said, Ravi hazel’s eyes grew brighter, "I will like that."

"Okay. I will see you at 7 p.m. Is it alright?"

"En." Ravi said quietly.

After they talked for a while more, they hung up.

Ravi’s hands noiselessly pulled the corner of the blanket over his head and he buried himself in the darkness. His heart was just too noisy, pounding loudly in his chest. He lay down there until his heart calmed down. His head was completely full of the details of last night and this morning.

Arlen was his boyfriend. Arlen was his.

He could feel his face burning and he reached out to the shred of energy but it was still gone.

Ravi stood up from the bed and made his way to the bathroom to get ready for the day. Since he was going on a date with Arlen, there was no need to go to the police bureau to find him.
