Chapter 172: Daring him

The desert soon came and Ravi smiled, he reached for the desert spoon and his lips gently closed around the spoon, "So good." A low moan erupted from deep in his throat. He then looked up at Arlen and smiled.

Arlen had to bite his lips to control himself. He took a deep breath to calm his overly excited brain which was telling his cock that getting hard right now was a good idea. Nope. This was Ravi, his Ravi, having sex at their first date was not how he planned this relationship to begin. Although, he could not help but imagine what sort of delectable sounds could leave such beautiful lips.

"Ravi?" He warned slowly.

And to his greatest surprise, Ravi smiled innocently, "What? I can’t help myself when it comes to sweet treats,"

Arlen shuddered but his eyes grew even more excited. He loved unraveling Ravi and this expression of mischief and innocence was one he had never seen.

He leaned back, causing Ravi to raise an eyebrow at his feigned nonchalance when he felt it. A soft material ran up his leg. Arlen had slipped out of his shoe and now was solely running his leg up and down Ravi’s calf.

Ravi sucked in a sharp breath.

"What...What are you doing?"

Arlen’s expression of innocence was even more nicely done, "Enjoying my own sweet treat."

Their eyes met and for the first time, there was a hint of challenge within the depths.

Ravi drew everything in him to remain unfazed as he wondered how long and how far Arlen was willing to play.

Arlen might not be as straight-lanced as he imagined but still, he...wouldn’t.

His foot had now reached his knee and was now creeping up the inside of his thigh, exciting him as his length grew in response. Ravi swallowed, and looked at Arlen who was still looking at him with the challenge in his eyes.

Ravi did not want to give in as he leaned back and spread his legs a little further, meeting his gaze with a daring mocking of his own.

Arlen reached for his cup of wine and took a sip, leaning forward as his foot slid higher up Ravi’s thigh. Ravi’s fingers around his spoon tightened and he gasped, trying to control his breathing.

Arlen promptly curled his toes and pressed his foot around Ravi’s crotch, rubbing along the outline of Ravi’s half-erect cock.

Ravi’s cheeks flushed but he refused to break his gaze.

"Is everything alright, Sir?" The waiter chose at this time to appear.

The foot slipped away faster than Ravi could blink and Arlen instantly started coughing. He coughed so hard that the waiter was worried that he would choke to death.

"Sir?"

"He is okay. You can go." Ravi said, looking at Arlen with red ears and red cheeks.

The moment the waiter left, Ravi burst out laughing, he laughed so much his entire body trembled.

"Glad to be your entertainment?" Arlen said he watched Ravi laugh uncontrollably and he smiled. He wondered if he knew just how beautiful he was when he was laughing freely.

"Oh! Min sol, I am so thoroughly entertained. Haven’t you heard, don’t start something you can’t finish." Ravi can’t remember when he laughed so much, his stomach was even hurting him as his shoulders shook.

"Oh! I can finish it."

"I believe you." He used the exact Patronizing tone that Malik loved to use on him.

"Ravi!" Arlen instantly pulled out his weapons, blinking two pairs of watery blue eyes at Ravi.

Ravi stopped laughing and reached out to caress his hair, "So handsome, how about next time, I would let you ravish me here."

"I would hold you to that," Arlen said, his eyes wriggling and making Ravi fight to control his laughter one more time.

They left the restaurant and took a walk down the seaside. The Alstria river stretched before them. Piers sprawled to meet the water which glimmered, the trees in the distance creating an even darker background framing the expanse, Arlen stopped in his tracks at the stunning sign.

"It is even more beautiful than it is in the pictures." He said out loud and Ravi looked at him.

"En. Beautiful."

The two of them soon bypassed the incident and began chatting again. It was always so easy for Ravi to chat with Arlen. Wasn’t that the first thing that made him fall for him, the way he listened?

His entire body was leaning towards you, his eyes focused on you. You know his every attention was on you.

"What kind of car?’

"I don’t know. I initially wanted him to take the bus but no bus would stop at the bus stop for Harlem. I could convince Lana to get a job at his school so she could keep an eye on the two of them, then convince Malik to let Sage take his lessons there so he would be ready for the college entrance examination. The car has to be comfortable for at least four people with a trunk. Maybe a Jeep or a minivan, Honda is not bad either. I can look for something fairly used."

"It is always good to buy a brand new when it comes to cars and electronics. That is what my sister said."

Ravi blinked, thinking for a while, he truly did not want the car to break down in the middle of nowhere. He might have killed the Phantom members but the Infernal Covenant group was still roaming free.

"Do you like the Audi?" Arlen suddenly said.

"No, thank you. I can’t take your car, Arlen."

Arlen hummed and then returned the car to his pocket, he did not insist, "Okay. Whenever you are going to buy the car, I have to come along, Okay?"

"Sure." Ravi said he did not really care about cars when he could go wherever he wanted in the blink of an eye. It was not like he had one when he was young either.

"You don’t sound excited to get one." Arlen noted and Ravi shook his head.

"I don’t care much about cars. I have never had one before." Ravi placed the fork onto his now empty dessert spoons.

"Now, I really want to buy one for you."

"Captain, are you really looking for how to spend money? I could give you a list. About that refrigerator that only Kora has?" Ravi could not forget the jealous feeling that filled his body when Arlen had shown the special treatment to the new forensic scientist.

Arlen raised an eyebrow and soon burst out laughing, "Okay. I would buy a fridge=, what else."

Ravi thought for a second, "When I go down to her office, I will check and get back to you. Stop laughing."

"Oh! You are so cute when you are jealous."

"You think I am cute?" Ravi asked quietly.

Arlen looked at him, "Ravi, you are exquisite. You look like the most beautiful creation of a god. Like someone had created you for thousands of years." He grinned, "So breathtaking, but you are like this, with me. I feel like you are quite cute. Do you hate me saying that?"

Ravi smiled and faced the river, "I like it when you say it, only you"

"Special treatment?"

"En. Because you are my boyfriend, you get special treatment."

Arlen chuckled, "I am enjoying this boyfriend title more and more."

Ravi laughed, he looked at the river, and confessed, "Where I came from, cute would cause you to be looked down on or mocked. Fearless, brave, warrior-like, deadly, efficient, those are the adjectives that were preferred."

Arlen had known Ravi for a long time. He did not easily let people in, and yet here he was, cracking the door open.

"That sounds like a place that I would not like to take a vacation."

Ravi looked at him stunned and then burst out laughing.

They stood side by side at the pier as the moonlight caressed their skin. Arlen could not look away from Ravu, the soft gleam in his eyes, the elegant arch of his nose, and his soft pink lips. He looked raw, like this as if crafted with clay and not granite.

He understood that Ravi had shared something very personal, something he might have never shared with someone but Arlen did not want to stay analyzing those words according to his theories. He instead soaked them in, his heart thumping with the feeling that was radiating in the air.

"I love you." He suddenly said, The words rang in the quiet night, less like a testament and more like a vow.

He turned to face Ravi, his blue eyes looking at him, "Can I kiss you?" His fingers slid under his chin and tilted it up until their eyes locked.

Ravi nodded and in the next second, Arlen’s mouth met his in a searing kiss. Even though a hunger lit in his stomach at the press of their mouths together, Arlen kept the kiss chaste and so soul-achingly gentle. Like Ravi’s lips were a fragile statue that could break anytime.

The kiss was filled with so much tenderness that Ravi felt like he was being melted from inside out. Shivers coursed through his body and something clicked in his mind.

Arlen Sinclair had ruined him for any other person.
