She smiled and slowly lowered her head. Her lips were puckered like she was going to kiss the bruise as well.

Mo Jingzhe closed his eyes and raised his head to face the ceiling. His heart was threatening to run away from its confines because of excitement.

When Mei Mei’s breath across his skin, he clenched his toes and hands. His breathing became more rugged and his imagination started going into overdrive.

Suddenly, he felt a painful tingling on that spot and he opened his eyes. He was familiar with tingling, it came from nano patches. One of his bruises had been patched up efficiently.

Mei Mei saw the confusion in his eyes and she laughed at him. "Tsk, tsk, look at you. You have turned red from your face to your chest. A Zhe, you look like a cooked shrimp right now."

The terrible trio entered their bedroom before they could escape through the window unfortunately, which made the couple seize all moment. They froze as if they were sneaking drugs through an airport and a drug sniffing dog was onto them.

"Mom, mom, mom...." They started, shoving each other to get to her first.

Despite all the disciplining she and Muyang had done, the competitive and clingy nature of the three refused to disperse.

"What do you three menaces want now?" Chi Lian asked in a resigned voice.

"Mom, Jun Yi Yi poisoned my food. Can you hire someone from the royal kitchen to taste-test all my food before I eat it like they do for the emperor. You don’t want to lose your precious baby boy, do you?" Jun Jie, the oldest of them complained first.

Jun Lei shoved Jun Yi aside. "Mom, I need one of the private jets to fly me and my dog to Paris for a spa day but grandpa is not authorizing the flight. My dog has been stressed lately."

"Ooh," Jun Yi clapped. "Can I go with him and buy a pet giraffe? This home is a zoo, we have almost every animal but no giraffe. Mom, a giraffe will match the aesthetic of the living room."

Chi Lian and Jun Muyang shared equally terrified looks and then they leaped out of the window. As the first humans to change their genes and obtain super powers, they could not be harmed by jumping out of a window.
