"Now, bring me the money and prepare to drop me off at the academy," Xavier ordered Dominic without a hint of hesitation.

"Let me talk to the parents of the other three first. Although I agreed to your demand, I can’t say the same for them." He forced a smile at Xavier and continued, "But don’t worry, I will pay my part of 2.5 million for my son."

"Sure. I don’t care what you do and how you do it, as long as I get what I want. But..." Xavier placed his legs on the table and stretched himself. "Let me help you convince them."

"What?"

"Leonardo Kane. His father John Cane, a respected scientist, researcher, and a doctor. Who also helped you fake Mira’s report."

Dominic had already realized where this was going. He had already regretted underestimating Xavier, but now, Xavier kept surprising him again and again.

"What do you think will happen to John Kane, if I publish everything I have?" Xavier smirked as he glanced at Dominic. "Don’t you think his career is one the line? FOrget about his son, Leonardo, but he himself will be destroyed."

"You are right." Dominic nodded in response.

"Then comes Alexander Sterling, father of Ethan Sterling. He is a well-known businessman and also a respected ’philanthropist’, supposedly." Xavier quoted with his fingers. "We both know how he truly is and I don’t have to list everything he has done."

Xavier actually had no idea what Alexander Sterling had done, but he knew if Alexander was acquainted with people like Dominic Hart and Aldric Voss, he couldn’t be innocent.

"Not to mention," Xavier continued. "The construction site where they violated Mira was also owned by Alexander Sterling. And there is enough proof of that since Lucas’ car was captured in the cameras throughout the city. You can’t fake that since the government owns that evidence.

Now, think about it.

Why would I have access to the unfinished construction site owned by Alexander Sterling? Doesn’t make sense, right?" Xavier frowned his face. "So tell him to pay up if he doesn’t want to get destroyed."

Dominic gulped down in fear. How could someone so young be so formidable? Alexander Sterling and John Kane were well known on earth and space, and their research and development had played a crucial role in setting up the future.

But Xavier could finish them with just one click on a button... or so Dominic thought. In reality, Xavier didn’t have enough proof to prove his innocence at all.

"Just... who are you?" Dominic asked with genuine curiosity on his face.

"I am Xavier," he responded sarcastically.

"What’s your background? You are from a village of the heretics. So how are you so... what family do you belong to? You must have a family name, right?"

"Stark. Xavier Stark. I am just a normal villager who came to this city to study and make my future. But some sons of bitches just can’t let me live in peace. So I just decided to teach them a lesson. I decided to discipline them, since their parents and guardians are incompetent at doing that."

Xavier let out an important part where his goal was to reclaim what rightfully belonged to him. But maybe... now his goal was much more than ruling the city.

’Stark?’ Dominic raised his brow as he pondered. ’I have never heard of such a family before. So he is not from a powerful family. But what makes him so.... fearful? At the first glance, he seemed like a normal kid who would end up crying just because someone yelled at him. But then... he suddenly changed. He is like a totally different person than before.’

Of course, he had never heard of it before, because Xaveir had just made it up. Dominic had no choice but to believe in everything Xavier was saying. The master of manipulation was getting manipulated by a kid.

"I will be honest, I don’t really know much about Lucas’ father, but his grandfather is an asshole, so that should be enough. The Blackwood family is the richest and well expanded in everything. It is a brand. So I don’t think 2.5 million would even matter to him."

’That old bastard is a cheapskate and wouldn’t even spend a penny if he wished.’ Dominic thought to himself.

Dominic left the room after saying, "You wait here for a bit. I will talk with them and return in a few minutes."

Xavier let out a sigh of relief as soon as Dominic left.

’That was so nerve wrecking. I can’t believe it actually worked. I am glad I did some research! I said some curse words too... I don’t want to admit it, but it felt awesome. Now I know why everyone curses. It leaves a deep impact on people.

Still, what they have done is inhumane and they must be punished for their crimes. But I can’t just sit and wait for that to happen. I have to take it in my own hands. Once I am out of here, I will start plotting everything. And the system will help me with it.

Come to think of it... it all thanks to Mira sending me that video clip. If she hadn’t I wouldn’t have been able to prepare and plan everything. And... the reason she sent me this was because I called her. But I only called her because the system gave me a task. If it hadn’t, I wouldn’t have even thought of calling her.

And the reason the system gave me that task was because Oliver came to me with his initial plan. In short, it is all thanks to Oliver. He is my true friend! I will have to treat him something nice once I am out of here!’

"What if I had actually visited her house instead of calling her?" He asked himself.

’Would I have been able to save her? It would have taken us 10 to 15 minutes to reach the slums, and a few more minutes to find her house. I don’t think we would have been able to reach there on time. And I might not have even got the clip from her if I hadn’t called her instead.’

A few minutes later Dominic returned and said, "I can’t let you go."
