Married For Now-Chapter 61: D-DAY
Chapter 61: D-DAY
"WE DID it! Sohee Oppa! Euntak-ah! We submitted our entry on time!" Hong Sera said cheerfully, and then she opened her arms. "Group hug!"
Sohee chuckled, and then he stepped forward to do a group hug.
Cho Euntak did the same.
However...
"Hyung, you’re done here, right?" Kim Heedo said while gently pulling Sohee by his hoodie. "Let’s have lunch together. That’s the only free time I have today."
Baek Jeho also pulled Cho Euntak by the collar. "Cho Euntak, you promised we’ll hang out together now that you’re not busy."
Han Raehyun, on the other hand, hugged Hong Sera from behind with one arm. "We have a date today, Sera-ya."
Aigoo.
Sohee, Hong Sera, and Cho Euntak exchanged glances.
Yep, their respective Alphas stopped their group hug.
"What are doing?" Woo Yuri, the president of the Webtoon Reading Club, asked in a sleepy voice. "Are you shooting a drama or what?"
"They’re giving us free entertainment, Yuri-ya," Doh Allen, the vice president, said teasingly. "Let them entertain us."
Pfft. ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom
Sohee couldn’t blame the two.
Their group— the Crybabies— finally submitted their webcomics titled ’Gacha Girl.’
Well, to be exact, they submitted their entry yesterday.
But today is the day the Webtoon Reading Club uploaded ’Gacha Girl’ in the club’s very own website. It’s still in the drafts, and it will be uploaded later along with the other entries.
That was why Sohee, Hong Sera, and Cho Euntak deserved a group hug.
But their celebration was cut short because of their overprotective Alphas.
"Sohee Hyung, we’re going to visit your booth, aren’t we?" Kim Heedo asked, acting like he didn’t just stop Sohee from hugging his younger friends. "Let’s go, Hyung. I only have a short break."
"Fine," Sohee said, giving in. Then he looked at Woo Yuri and Doh Allen. "Can we go now, President? Vice President?"
"Of course," Woo Yuri said, waving her hand. "We’ll send you a message once we’ve already uploaded your entry."
"We will upload all entries at exactly 6PM," Doh Allen added. "Good luck."

SOHEE couldn’t get rid of his stupid grin while walking around with chicken skewer in one hand, and a cider in the other.
The best part?
Kim Heedo was walking right next to him.
He loved his husband’s scent, so he felt relaxed.
Everyone is looking at us, but this kid looks unfazed.
"Hyung, is there anything else you want to eat?" Kim Heedo asked after Sohee threw the stick and the can in the garbage bin. "I’ll buy it for you."
"Nah, I don’t want to get full," Sohee said while looking around. "I want to have a full-course dinner later."
Kim Heedo just chuckled while shaking his head.
This day is really fun.
Sohee spent the entire afternoon walking around the campus with Kim Heedo.
The two of them had lunch together earlier in a fancy restaurant (because Kim Heedo didn’t want to stay on campus around that time), and then they started visiting the booths they found interesting as soon as they returned.
And, no, we didn’t watch the Kpop artists who performed for the first day of the festival.
"I’m sorry, Hyung," Kim Heedo said while they were walking towards Sohee’s booth. "Because of me, you weren’t able to watch the performances earlier."
The kid sounded so serious that Sohee decided to tease him. "Right. You took me to a fancy restaurant for lunch, all because you didn’t want to see Antiheroes perform."
Yep, Lee Junsu’s boyfriend’s group was among the Kpop acts that performed at their university today.
Kosmos will perform tomorrow.
Yep, it was a two-day university festival.
"I’m ashamed, Hyung," Kim Heedo said, sighing. "Is there a group you like among the Kpop acts that performed today? I’ll make sure you get to meet them next time."
"Oh, it’s alright. I don’t know any new groups aside from Kosmos and Antiheroes anyway. I’m a fan of the second-generation idols, and my favorite group is currently inactive. That’s why Kpop is boring for me now."
"But you have a favorite group. Do you want to meet them, Hyung? Even if they’re on a hiatus, I can pull some strings for you."
"Nah, it’s alright. My idols are all ahjussis now. Let them rest."
"Are you sure?"
"Yep," Sohee said while nodding. "You should never meet your heroes anyway."
To avoid being disappointed, of course.
"If you feel guilty, then spend your money on the merch I made," Sohee said, grabbing Kim Heedo by the sleeve of his jacket. "Oh, my booth seems to be famous."
He didn’t expect it, but there was quite a line in his booth.
Now I feel bad for leaving Cho Euntak there.
Sohee and Cho Euntak shared a booth together.
And it seemed famous since people were gushing over their products.
Cho Euntak made prints of his landscape paintings.
All are beautiful landscapes with dreamy color schemes.
On the other, Sohee made prints of...
"I bet those golden goose drawings are yours, Hyung," Kim Heedo teased him. "Am I your muse for your art pieces, Hyung?"
Aigoo.
Sohee couldn’t deny it, though.
All the prints that he made were drawings of an original character that he made— a cool golden goose wearing a black turtleneck shirt.
Kim Heedo often wears black turtleneck shirts, after all.
"I named him ’GoldHee,’" Sohee said proudly. "He’s my son."
"Then that makes him my son, too."
Haaah.
This brat...
Sohee knew that Kim Heedo was just saying that to get along with him, but he still felt his heart skip a beat or two.
I didn’t know I could be this delusional when it comes to the person I like.
"You drew quite a lot, Hyung," Kim Heedo said worriedly. "When did you have the time to draw for your booth when you were busy making your webcomics?"
"It’s not like I draw for Hong Sera every day. I was drawing GoldHee merch during my day-offs."
"No wonder you lost weight."
"Did I?"
"Yes. And now that I’m looking closely..." Kim Heedo suddenly cupped Sohee’s face between his hands. "You’re pale, Hyung. Didn’t Eomma bring some red ginseng for us? Let’s drink that starting today, okay?"
Oho?
Sohee couldn’t help but notice that the people around them were listening to their conversation even though they were pretending they weren’t.
They probably think that Kim Heedo and I are really in love with each other.
"Hyung?" Kim Heedo called him, gently squeezing his cheeks. "Are you listening to me?"
"I am," Sohee said, gently patting Kim Heedo’s hands. "I’m fine, Heedo-ya."

"OH, HYUNG. Your nose is bleeding."
Shit.
Sohee immediately grabbed a tissue and pressed it against his nose.
What a way to start the day.
It was the second day of the Yonhee University Festival, and it was Sohee’s turn to stay at the booth so that Cho Euntak could enjoy the festival.
But he suddenly had a nosebleed.
I guess it isn’t really "suddenly" since I worked hard for the past month.
"Hyung, you look tired," Cho Euntak said worriedly. "You should take a rest first."
"No, it’s my turn to man our booth."
"Hyung, please."
Aigoo.
Cho Euntak looked like he would cry if Sohee didn’t leave the booth.
This kid is so soft-hearted.
"Shouldn’t you call your husband, Hyung?" Cho Euntak asked worriedly. "He’ll worry if he finds out you had a nosebleed from other people."
Right.
There were students who saw his nose bleed.
"Kim Heedo is busy since he received a call just after he dropped me off here earlier," Sohee said, relieved that his nose finally stopped bleeding. "I’ll just go to the school clinic and rest there for a bit."

"LEE JUNSU had a panic attack?" Kim Heedo asked. "What happened?"
He got a call from Kang Dohwa earlier, so he headed to the Student Council Room after dropping off Park Sohee at his booth.
Only Kang Dohwa was there because everyone at the Student Council was busy.
It’s the last day of the festival, after all.
And Kosmos was about to perform in an hour.
"According to Lee Junsu-ssi’s manager, they received a threat from Lee Junsu-ssi’s hater," Kang Dohwa said. "Apparently, the hater sent proof that they’re here. They threatened to hurt Lee Junsu-ssi. Then Lee Junsu-ssi had a panic attack."
"Where is he now?"
"I sent him to the clinic with his staff," Kang Dohwa said in a serious tone. "I actually wanted to call Kwon Gaon and not you. But I can’t get a hold of him."
"Kwon Gaon is working, but I know why you need him, Hyung. I can talk to the head security of our university to provide extra bodyguards for Lee Junsu."
"Thank you," Kang Dohwa said, and then he paused for a moment. "Heedo-ya, your husband isn’t the jealous type, is he?"
"Don’t worry about Sohee Hyung," Heedo assured Kang Dohwa. "He’s a good person with a big heart."
***
SOHEE only went to the school clinic to rest for a bit.
But the person who greeted him almost made him go blind.
How can someone be so pretty?
"You must Park Sohee-ssi."
Ah, damn.
Sohee forced himself to smile, somehow feeling like he had lost already when he came face-to-face with one of the most beautiful men he had seen in his life. "And you must be Kosmos’ Jamie."
Yep.
Sohee had finally met Lee Junsu in person.
Why do I feel nervous?
"The nurse said she’d be back in a moment," Lee Junsu said. "Are you hurt, Park Sohee-ssi?"
"I just feel a bit unwell," Sohee said, pausing for a moment. "I didn’t expect you to recognize me, Lee Junsu-ssi."
"Haewon and I are still in contact. We talk about a lot of things, and she’d sometimes send family pictures to me," Lee Junsu said. And the Haewon he mentioned was Kim Heedo’s younger sister. "That’s how I recognized you right away, Park Sohee-ssi."
"Ah, I see."
An awkward silence ensued then.
Sohee didn’t really care about as to why Lee Junsu was in the clinic, so he was about to excuse himself.
However...
"Student, you have the same body type as our Junsu-ya."
Hmm?
An ahjussi with a kind face said while looking at Sohee with sparkling eyes.
Oh, right.
Lee Junsu isn’t alone.
The ahjussi must be Lee Junsu’s manager, while the tall and quiet man dressed in a black suit must be his bodyguard.
"You even have the same hair color as our Junsu-ya."
Sohee smiled awkwardly. "What about it, sir?"
"You see, we’re trying to get rid of someone who’s targeting our Junsu-ya," the manager said, his eyes already pleading. "Please help us, student. You seem close to our Junsu-ya anyway."
What about no?
