Watching Kylian immediately jump away from them the moment his hand was released, Zenith turned around his gaze to face him. But his skittish body movements somehow created Zenith’s tunnel of illusionary vision where he could compare Kylian’s movements with a fierce but scared black beautiful kitten who was aiming to pounce on his new Master who had taken him in his shelter.

The unparallel comparison between Kylian and that little black kitten made Zenith chuckle again, as his mind was still unknowingly admiring Kylian’s charm. But his gestures made Kylian misunderstand his intention as he furiously rolled his orbs at him, "You darn bastard...did you just mock me?"

"I think there have been some extreme misunderstandings between you two." Before their bickering would turn into a heated argument, the doctor stepped in and stood in front of Zenith, facing Kylian. He retained a serene expression on his face as if to comfort Kylian with it before he urged, "You don’t have to be scared of me, Kylian. Zenith didn’t bring you here with any evil intention. Rather...he wanted to protect you."

"H-How did you know my name?" His ocean eyes rolled in surprise at the doctor’s answer, but before he could answer furthermore, the doctor made a shocking revelation.

"I know that you transitioned for the first time into a dominant omega last night in the Academy, and Zenith was present at that moment. Am I correct?"

His words prevailed over an awkward silence inside the spacious room, left Kylian completely frozen for a moment. Until now, even though he was scared of getting exposed in front of any other person except Zenith, but deep down inside his heart he had felt a strange kind of reassurance, even if it was what his wolf Morpheus tried to portray to him, but he didn’t expect Zenith would expose his deepest secret to someone else!

An unusual stir of betrayal stung his chest from inside, as Kylian’s face turned pale. But strangely even until now, he couldn’t hear his wolf’s voice inside him!

However, the doctor was quite keen in observing his change of expression as he moved a few steps forward to reach close to Kylian while he elaborated, "I do understand it well that you must be very scared and nervous around me now, but Zenith took the mandatory step by bringing you here to me for the first crucial physical examination after the first transition, especially for dominant omegas.

"Your body right now has been going through an immense amount of changes, and though your physical appearance doesn’t show much, you are in dire need of proper medication. That was the reason why Zenith injected you with the pheromone inhibitor before bringing you here because I had advised him so."

The doctor’s revelation made Kylian jolt from surprise as he quickly averted his glance towards Zenith who was looking at him now with a surly expression. Until now when he was pulling his hair or kicking him in the gut while labeling him as the kidnapper, an instant feeling of guilt washed over him when he realized he had done all that following the doctor’s advice!

But his guilt was quickly replaced by anger when he narrowed his frigid glare on Zenith, pondering in his mind, ’Then couldn’t this bastard at least told me the truth before bringing me here like this? Why the fuck am I feeling guilty? Any sane person would obviously label him as a kidnapper if he suddenly knocks someone down and forcibly drags them here!’

However, after he glared at him momentarily, Kylian took a heavy inhale before realizing another important point that he had failed to catch from the doctor’s words. He gulped, and fidgetingly urged, "W-What’s a pheromone inhibitor?"

"You clearly do not have any knowledge about an omega’s body transformation, do you?" The doctor smiled coldly at him, but rather than getting irked by his words, Kylian grumbled while clenching his jaws.

"Don’t you mistake me as a country bum! Since childhood, I have learned every particular piece of information about the changes in an Alpha’s body when he attains the first shift! I did that because...I...I was certain that one day I would be an Alpha myself... I...I never wanted to be a fuckin’ omega in the first place, so how would I know!?"

Kylian’s low deep voice was mixed with a tinge of anger and sadness which didn’t fail to catch Zenith’s observation either as he narrowed his gaze on him. At that moment, in his eyes, someone as giant and sturdy as Kylian looked like a small, pitiful, and glum person who was cornered by the misery fate had bestowed on him.

A sudden surge of feeling to go and hug Kylian tightly in his arms so that he could feel reassured in his arms had overwhelmed his mind, making Zenith ponder why was he possessing such thoughts towards the boy he just met a day ago in the first place!

The doctor quietly listened to Kylian’s vent and exhaled a long sigh. Intending to comfort him further, he gently patted Kylian on his back when he mumbled in a soft voice, "I apologize if my words made you uncomfortable, Kylian. It’s alright, even if you didn’t know it earlier, gradually you will learn it all.

"I have been associated with the Elite Academy as Zenith’s personal doctor over there, but the prime reason why Zenith insisted on bringing you here to my private hospital instead was only because he wanted to make you feel comfortable here, rather than constantly living in fear over there. I know that brat’s methods were harsh, and it must have scared you badly, but could you trust us now?"
