His bold answer quickly turned Kylian’s cheeks red from shame as he almost protested aloud, "W-What made y-you think of that punk!? I said I would never do it with any Alpha...and I don’t l-like him at all! I hate bullies like him more than anything else in this world!"

"Haha," Dr. Albert let out a soft chuckle when he finished prescribing Kylian. Before handing it over to him, he mumbled, "You are indeed a unique omega, Kylian. I didn’t expect you would come up with such a laughable assumption...that really caught me off guard, especially when you don’t even seem to like Alphas."

But in response to his chuckle, Kylian’s face suddenly turned a bit dark when he lowered his ocean eyes. His tiny smile looked sad when he stared still at the tiles while answering, "Indeed...just in a night, my life has turned into a laughing stock. I spent my whole childhood pushing myself too hard to become stronger like Alphas and told myself never to lean on anyone...no matter what happens. "The number of betas inside that Academy is much lower than Alphas, but at least they won’t be carnally driven by your pheromones, even if you happen to go into heat accidentally around them. I am also a beta myself, and that’s why I can assure you. Oh, Aiden is also a beta and yet he is a very strong guy. You must have met him already, right? The guy with the tattoos."

Hearing his name quickly made Kylian wince while he pouted his face at him, "Of course I know him. He’s just another annoying punk like Zenith, in fact, his tone badly pisses me off."

Patting his head softly, Dr. Albert proceeded to walk out of the room but suddenly his footsteps stopped. His facial expression turned awestruck as if a sudden realization had hit him inside. His eyes rolled bigger and turning behind, he urged Kylian, "Wait...did you just say that you had sensed Zenith’s pheromone during the initiation of your shift, right? Did you sense any other Alphas’ scent around you in that state?"

Blinking his lashes, Kylian slowly nodded his head, while trying to reminisce through his blurred memories from last night. "My wolf had taken hold of my senses so I don’t recall everything correctly. However, I could feel, when I was talking to that punk in that hallway, I had sensed some more Alphas’ pheromones approaching us.

"In fact during the early morning when I ran out of his room, just sensing the scent of other Alphas’ pheromones around me inside the dormitory was making me want to throw up. It was terrible."

Hearing his explanation with wide-open gaze, Dr. Albert scratched the back of his head again, before asking, "Does that mean, while you were on your heat, you had only felt Zenith’s pheromones bearable at that moment, right?"

"I don’t like that pervert’s pheromones either, they are very strong." Kylian grumbled at him, but his tone softened a little when he confirmed, "But I also hate to admit that his pheromones were the only thing that could cure the throbbing pain that had spread all across my body last night. And it didn’t feel terrible like other Alphas’ as well."

’Eureka! I think I have found the solution to my confusion now!’ With the quick thought that ran inside his head, Dr. Albert gave him a brief satisfied smile before he urged, "Alright, now you can cool off your head, Kylian. I will see you in a moment."

"Huh?" Confused by his questions and watching him walk out of the room, Kylian stayed still in his seat, while blankly gazing out of the glass window next to him. From his room, there was a clear view of a sea beach nearby which looked pretty deserted as well, with crystal clear blue water wafting towards the shore.

Sea beaches immediately reminded him of his hometown, and while gazing at it blankly, Kylian felt his phone was vibrating aloud on the table.

Flipping it, when he glanced at the dialer on the screen, his face turned pale from shock and anxiety as he saw his Mother was calling him, as her smiling picture was set in the background of the screen.

’Mom? W-What...What am I s-supposed to answer her n-now?’ He stuttered while sensing cold chills running down his spine as his whole body shivered.
