But nothing was found amid her fall and the second in command relieved the medics and personally visits

"What the hell happened?" He closed the doors and lounged on the chair after a long day’s work in managing the other hand needs of the army

"Kurenai it’s so nice that you’ve visited, I guess my appearance is already a clue, I took a backlash," She says with such an upbeat tone

"How bad was it?" He sighed deeply and asked along with a look eager to know her reasons

"Quite frankly I almost died. Well, it’s thanks to my crew since they shared the backlash that I was saved. I’m truly lucky–"

"You messed with time! How big was it? I haven’t seen a backlash like that. This trial placed a heavy toll on your ability right?" She took her time to breathe and she slowly sighed in doubt about the chances of their success

The ceiling was revealed to be covered in heaps of blood matching its color and was used to be a gateway for her arrival. She stands between whereas her body remains as one with the blood and in that state, only detectable through one’s sight. Her energy never leaked and the two were flabbergasted by the fact that a third party would grab ahold of their conversation

Although she was their ally for the most part she was both an enemy the moment things would take an unexpected turn. Kurenai never hesitated nor did he show favor for her sudden arrival and he glares whilst also pointing his axe. It was no laughing matter and her choice of words would determine whether a war suddenly ensued

"Don’t point that axe at me Kurenai! I might be trying to earn your favor so I can get on his good side. But if you dare seek me as a foe I will break you–"

"That’s enough!!!" The evergrowing tension was then extinguished by Rachel shouting and the appearance of her army

"Since when?" Airis was taken aback after she was surrounded by dozens of guards without her ever noticing

"Jin put down your weapon. She’s not a threat. She only spied on us after she became doubtful of your actions,"

Jin retrieves his axe and his expression suddenly changes along with his furious tone and turns to face Airis. "Doubtful? Are seriously thinking I’d betray him? Airis I’ve known him my entire life!"

"How would I know? You didn’t act like it! You never grieve or mourn. I never seen you with anyone else then this chick showed up. She isn’t a demon so I thought–"

She suddenly was shaken after he tightly gripped her shoulders and said. "Are you insane? He’s my brother! Although not by blood I was adopted by his family. We never talk about it but we’re legally brothers I cared for him like he’s my blood!"

"I– I’m sorry..." Airis lowered her head after she couldn’t face looking him in the eye due to her one-sidedly accusing him

"Airis was it? Now this is... strange. In the other timelines, you weren’t the Vampire queen. It seems that you’ve changed as well, this will do, Jin we can save her," She tries to stand with the aid of her followers even though she has yet to fully recover from her backlash

She grabs Airis’s face with her right hand and she takes a closer look at her eye and asks. "Have you ever drank blood?"

Rachel tightly shuts her mouth and says. "Sorry, I wasn’t being specific enough. Have you ever drunk human blood? Although you’re not a full vampire, you’re a half-blood... the vampire queen character needs two things, one is her kin and the other is a thirst for blood,"

Her face suddenly reddens and says. "I– I don’t particularly like blood... b- but because of that one time I gotten so addicted. Chris m-made me have a taste of his blood,"

Silence filled the room and just when everything was lost she laughed hysterically like a madman. "Ahahahahahahahaha! Finally some good fucking news! Ladies and Gents, we found it. A way to save him,"

Her followers and Kurenai himself were taken aback by her sudden change of air whilst all glanced in awe for Airis

She leaps through the top of and aligns her kick and she busts through one of the vents and waits for her enemies. Dozens of guards quickly flooded the small room and before they could notice she fired a round of Ice bullets. Although their damage wasn’t as strong their attributes have taken effect rendering them immobile

"Orb of greed, Absorb!" The orb lights up and those within its range are forcefully drained causing one to faint

[System: Orb of greed has taken the target’s Mana, absorbed stats such as Hp, Stamina, and Chi are reserved

Application: The user can choose a singular stat or everything to restore or use the absorb stats as a skill activation requirement

Conversion: Absorbed stats can be converted to a different stat but their value upon exchange will be halved]

"Are you sure they won’t detect us?" Shin quickly ran after she hid their bodies so no one would sound the alarm

[You said that the avatar only told you to escape right? Now that I think about it there must be a reason why they’re delaying his death. We’re talking about a Demon King, a being which can’t easily die, that means they’re transporting a weapon]

"Seriously-" An explosion occurred and before her identity was revealed she found none other than Charlotte herself

"It’s nothing, also where have you been, Gale? Are you slacking off? Yoona just told us to come here and find Shin," She says with a furious tone
