System's POV-Chapter 929: I Will Return To Your Side, I Promise [Part 1]
Princess Aracelle tenderly kissed the palm of Zion's rough hand filled with calluses from the many years of hardships he had gone through in both Solterra and Pangea.
With a soft carpet beneath, she knelt before the seated Zion, who was looking down at her with an indifferent gaze.
The princess kissed Zion's palm a few times before gently flipping it over and kissing the back of his hand three times, as if making an oath that he was now her Master.
After that, she looked at the eyes of the young man who reached out to pat her head, as if she had done a good thing.
A faint flush appeared on the young lady's face before he laid her head on his lap, allowing the young man to continue patting her head with his hand.
No trace of her arrogance could be seen.
Her defiance look from the past had been completely replaced with a soft and gentle look as she enjoyed the happiness Thirteen's rough hand brought her.
"The information you told me is very valuable, Aracelle," Thirteen said softly. "What kind of reward would you wish to have in return?"
"C-Can I ask for anything?" Aracelle asked, her head still resting on the teenage boy's lap.
"Do you wish to have your freedom back?" Thirteen asked. "I will allow it. But first, you will need to see an acquaintance of mine. I promised her that I will hand you over to her after I'm done interrogating you."
A look of reluctance appeared on the young lady's face after hearing that she would be separated from the person who had subjugated her.
"What's wrong?" Thirteen found the Princess' expression, similar to a puppy that had lost its owner, quite amusing.
"I… wish to be by your side," Princess Aracelle said.
"Is that your wish?" Thirteen asked.
"N-No," Princess Aracelle answered. "I-I want a different wish, but I also don't want to separate from you."
The Princess, who had countless suitors in Gomorra, understood that she would never find someone like Zion among the princes who only sought her for her beauty.
The teenage boy truly didn't care about her looks, which she could see in the reflection of his eyes.
She also understood that the teenage boy only cared if she would be useful to him or not. This sense of being used as a tool made her heart skip.
Princess Aracelle was used to treating others as a tool herself, so she understood that Thirteen was superior to her in every way.
His touch, his words, his gestures, his gaze, and his warmth, as well as everything that he made her experience for the past 24 hours, had soaked deep inside her body, tainting her from the inside out.
"Then, what do you want?" Thirteen asked.
Princess Aracelle reached out to touch Zion's hands, raising them up so that he would cup her face, which was as smooth as silk.
"Very well, I will allow it," Thirteen replied.
"Thank you, Zion," Princess Aracelle said before she lowered her head and took what she wanted from him.
——
The sun had risen from the East, but the members of Thirteen's entourage were still on high alert.
Half of them were resting, while half were standing guard, ready to act as soon as something unexpected happened.
The battle during the night ended in their victory, and the monsters no longer bothered to engage them in combat.
Perhaps the monsters didn't know where they were. After all, they were attacking the enemies from ten miles away, hiding behind a small canyon away from their sight.
Sherry, Stella, Siri, Viola, Sharon, Louise, and Hugo, had also returned to the camp, and reported that their operation was successful.
When the others asked where Zion was, Viola replied that the commander was currently squeezing every last bit of information that he could from the princess.

"I hope he returns soon," Siri muttered.
"Is that princess really a relative of yours?" Stella asked in a volume that only Siri could hear.
The two had returned using Thirteen's Humvee, so they could talk in private without worry about being overheard.
"Yes," Siri replied. "I already informed my mother, and she said that she wasn't in a hurry to talk to Princess Aracelle. She even added that I don't have to rush Zion and that I should just let him interrogate the princess for as long as he wanted."
"He promised to hand her over to you, and I believe that Zion is a man of his word," Stella said. "So, just wait until then, okay?"
As Siri was about to say something, they heard a commotion outside of the Humvee, which made the two leave the Humvee at the same time.
A minute later, they understood why the camp suddenly became noisy.
Zion had arrived hand in hand with Princess Aracelle, whose beauty made Vincent and Penny stare at her with bloodshot eyes.
"Her pupils are not heart-shaped, are they?" Vincent asked.
"Vincent, you and I both know that even if her pupils aren't heart-shaped right now, she could no longer defy Zion," Penny replied. "Damn! He put the knowledge we gave him to good use as soon as he left for battle. Is he some kind of genius?"
"As expected of Zion, even a Majin Princess becomes an ordinary girl after spending some time with him." Vincent rubbed his chin. "His growth is truly phenomenal."
"Should we continue to share our secrets with him?" Penny asked the most important question.
"Absolutely," Vincent answered. "Compared to us, Zion is a Saint."
"Well, you're not wrong about that." Penny sighed. "Still, I can't help but feel jealous right now. That lady can bring the downfall of nations."
"Indeed." Vincent agreed. "She's too beautiful for her own good. Perhaps the most beautiful lady I've seen in my life."
It was not only the two perverts who were thinking along these lines.
But since she wasn't tied in chains like a captive, even holding Zion's hand as they walked, many felt that their Commander might be too soft on the Princess, who was a member of a Royal Family that hailed from Gomorra.
"You're back," Arthur greeted his grandson with a calm expression on his face. "Did you get the answers you are looking for?"
"Yes," Thirteen replied. "For now, we should return to Casimir City.
"Are you taking her there?" Arthur crouched down and whispered in Zion's ears.
"The Griffin Clan and the Prestigious Families would definitely petition to take custody of her, and the chances of her being mishandled is quite high. Are you sure you plan to take her there?"
Princess Aracelle had every strong hearing, so she heard Arthur's whisper to his grandson.
At that moment, she felt Zion lightly squeeze her hand, giving her some kind of assurance that everything was going to be fine.
"I won't be taking her there," Thirteen answered. "I made a promise to Siri that she would take custody of her after I've finished my interrogation."
Arthur frowned before glancing at the Princess who looked like someone who couldn't hurt a fly.
He then shifted his attention to Siri, who had her arms crossed over her chest and was looking at the Princess like a hawk that had locked in to her prey.
"Are you sure about that?" Arthur asked. "The Central Government and the Cygni Coalition will definitely not like it."
Thirteen shrugged. "I don't care if they won't like it. If they want to have a Majin Princess, they can catch one on their own."
The teenage boy's answer made Princess Aracelle's face redden a bit as this was the first time that someone she cared about stood up for her.
And it made her chest feel warm and fuzzy, which she only felt during the past few days that she had been together with the person whose hand she was holding right now.
