The Crown's Seduction-Chapter 459: Handiwork
Chapter 459: Handiwork
With the Coupling Rites now over, both Dani and Abel promptly went through the relatively quaint reception and feast along with their friends. On his part, Abel was ecstatic to finally have marked his wife after all this time. She still wasn’t completely surrendering herself to him though, but that could come later.
Currently, they were both in their shared room with Dani casually sitting on the bed and him sitting beside her. The air between them was charged. With what, exactly? He didn’t know. But for now, he could at least chip away at her defenses again, something that was both fun and frustrating to do with how much she affected him.
"Well then. I guess we’re married again," Dani shrugged before she lazily plopped herself down onto the mattress. "I almost thought this day would never end, but at least we can get some proper rest now."
"I’m sure you must be tired by now," he chuckled as he simply gave her a soft smile. "You just got marked, and you’re still human, after all."
"My mortal body cannot handle everything all at once, huh," she joked aloud with a deadpan expression. "Maybe in the far future, I’ll forsake my humanity so that I can live forever and all that."
Abel couldn’t help but frown at the way she said those words. "Did you really have to say it like that," he asked. "It almost sounded like you think it’s a bad thing to be a vampire."
"I’m just human, after all," Dani sincerely chuckled this time. "Most of my kind would think that losing their humanity would be like turning to the dark side and all that."
"Well, you’ve seen that not all vampires are evil already. Hell, we’re pretty much just longer lived humans with cool powers," Abel humorously stated. "It’s not as bad as some think it is."
"I don’t doubt that, Abel," she lightly scoffed. "I don’t doubt that at all..."
A comfortable silence settled between them as they both simply enjoyed each other’s presence. At least, that was what Abel wanted to think as he found himself staring at his newly-marked wife. She looked so delectable and defenseless. Ripe for the taking with nothing to stop him from doing such a thing.
Indeed, even the spell Dani placed on him wouldn’t be able to stop him this time. Some time during the marking, he felt its hold on him shatter, leaving him free to do as he pleased again with nothing holding him back. His wife was truly without defenses now, assuming that he would do the deed with reckless abandon.
"W-Why are you looking at me like that?" she curiously asked the moment she noticed him staring, a faint blush on her face as her gaze lingered on his face.
"Is it bad for me to admire my beautiful wife?" he cheekily replied.
"I guess not, but the way you’re staring at me..."
Dani’s unspoken words lingered in the air. Already, he could smell her growing arousal, something that mirrored his own state as he leaned in ever so closer to her.
"I did say that I’d tell you what happened to us after our wedding ceremony," Abel whispered, his breath hitting her cheek as he leaned in close enough for their skin to touch. "But then again, why tell you when I can just help you remember?"
Dani immediately flinched at his offer. Immediately, he could tell that she was going on the defensive, but he wasn’t going to let it happen. Sure, he didn’t want to consummate their marriage like this where she still didn’t want him to do so, but a bit of payback would be nice.
He wanted her to feel good too, so he will do precisely that.
"Abel, back off," she warned, her voice shaking as the blush on her face intensified.
"Or what?" he goaded as he let his hands slowly roam her body. "I’m not doing anything. I’m keeping to my word. I won’t consummate our marriage until you want us to."
"I’m still not seeing you move," she warned. "Don’t make me use the spell, Abel."
Instead of heeding her words, he moved forward, his hands feeling her curves as his palms slid against her sweaty skin. She was panting now, her arousal growing hotter the closer he got to her core. But instead of moving further, he switched tactics and began fondling her breasts instead.
"A-Abel!"
He ignored her as he moved in to kiss her lips. He could tell that she was trying to compel him with the old spell, but it wasn’t going to work anymore.
"Your spell has no hold over me anymore," he huskily whispered into her lips. "But don’t worry. Again, I just want to make you remember..."
Moving on, he began kissing her deeply, and to his surprise, she reluctantly kissed him back, her moans one of both apprehension and desire as she melted into his ministrations. His hands kept up their attack as he twiddled with her stiff peaks before sliding down to her back, eventually moving up to her neck as he made sure that she wouldn’t be able to escape.
"Abel..."
Her throaty moans almost made him want to break as he did his best to remain in control. How badly he just wanted to take her right then and there, but he still had principles. And besides, he just wanted to tease her. Make her feel exactly what he felt when she did this to him ages ago.
"Mhmm~"
Abel hummed into her lips as he slipped in a tongue into her mouth, having a taste of her deliciousness before he prepared himself for the inevitable. He could tell that she was only a push away from falling to her desires, and that was exactly when he forced himself to break away.
"A-Abel?" she confusedly asked, still panting. "W-What’s wrong?" free𝑤ebnovel.com
"I said that nothing’s going to happen to us. That I was just going to remind you of what happened," he cheekily smirked. "I did exactly that. We can go to sleep now."
Before she could even reply, Abel had already pulled the bedsheets over him to pretend to sleep. Hearing her whines, he couldn’t help but inwardly chuckle at his handiwork. He might haven’t gotten what he really wanted, but he was more than fine with this for now.
