The Crown's Seduction-Chapter 460: To Bathe

As the days passed, many unexpected events once again happened in the kingdom that involved their king and queen. Dani still couldn’t believe what she just learned, but she still fully understood why their queen had to hide such crucial things like this from them.

"Are you sure you want me to hypnotize you?" Abel asked her as soon as they reached the premises of their residence.

Pulling him with her to the open pavilion of their garden, Dani promptly sat on a chair, urging him to sit beside her. She then pulled out the mystical book of the Chronicles of Fallen Angels, and Abel did the same with the Ancient book of the Dragons he carried.

"Yes, this is a crucial moment," she firmly answered. "Like I said, our enemies can easily fish out details from us, so you must do this."

Right at that moment, everything unfolded before them... About their Queen’s curse and how she just rescued her husband and brother from Devon’s lair, not to mention how she had also successfully broken her curse.

Every bit of knowledge came to them because of how such events were written on the blank pages of the book. Their enemies were still in their midst, and Dani wouldn’t let the suffering and sacrifices of their queen and king be for nothing just because of her and the others not being immune to hypnosis and compulsion.

"Alright, I understand," Abel nodded. "First, let’s go to the library hall’s sacred and secret chamber and place these in a safe location."

She nodded in agreement. From there, Abel manifested in his mist form and he directed them to the secret chamber that Dani wasn’t familiar with.

From there, she simply watched him talk to Cian before he handed him the magical books. He then gave out a few more instructions before he took her into his mist form and redirected them back to their residence. This time, however, he took her directly to their bedchamber, and he then called for the nearby servants and gave them unexpected instructions.

"What are you doing?" she questioned as soon as the servants left.

Abel had a playful smile as he replied, "Just some preparations to hypnotize you."

Dani frowned. "Yes, but why do you need the bathhouse to be prepared for us at this hour?"

"To relax?" Abel shrugged. "Besides, my inner energy is mostly replenished when I’m submerged in water. Remember, I’m not a Scion like Fritz."

Dani’s frown deepened. "How about I just ask Lord Fritz to hypnotize me instead since he’ll be the one to do it to Krisha, Laura, and Zaila?"

"No! Why would I allow my wife to be hypnotized by other men?!" Abel burst out. "There’s no way!"

Dani had a feeling that Abel was just exaggerating, but she no longer bothered arguing and simply let him have his way. Still, she couldn’t help but wonder what exactly he had up his sleeve at the moment.

She had been battling with his continued teasing for days now, and it wasn’t easy. He had his frustrating ways of torturing her wherein she thought he could no longer hold back and go for it, but she was wrong.

It was like he was giving her a taste of her own medicine!

"Is this how you want this?" Dani scoffed as she walked ahead of him, making her way to their bathhouse. "Let’s do it then."

She needed a warm bath in this cold weather anyway, so she might as well. The moment they were inside, she stopped moving, and the servants quickly left the moment Abel dismissed them.

"After you hypnotize me, you can leave me here," Dani told him.

"Why would I do that? Wouldn’t it be nice to bathe together?" Abel chuckled. "It’s spacious enough to fit ten people if you’re worried about my presence! Besides, look at how it’s filled with flower petals to help our body relax. Won’t you let me relax too?"

Dani rolled her eyes "Turn around. I’m going to take my clothes off."

Abel blinked and mumbled, "It’s not like I haven’t seen it all."

"What?!" she burst out.

He simply smiled and then turned around. Shrugging, Dani quickly removed her clothes and left nothing but her thin inner gown to protect her modesty. For some reason, she didn’t want herself to be fully naked with him. It was embarrassing...

"Done, wife?" he asked, and she could tell how he was enjoying it with his amused voice.

Dani didn’t answer. Instead, she quickly went and submerged herself in the bath.

"Done," she answered.

At her word, Abel faced her before then removing his own clothes.

"Why are you doing this?"

What a dumb question, and yet she still asked.

"Do you expect me to bathe with clothes on?" Abel scoffed.

"Well, won’t it be awkward to do the compelling with you naked?" she countered.

Their setup was so awkward! She didn’t know why she even allowed her playful husband with his lame alibis like this, but she guessed it was happening anyway. He was a Curb, and he had heard that Abel developed the ability to hypnotize, compel, and even shift into his mist form through his dedication and determination since not all Curbs could do that. Although, using water to fuel his inner energy to hypnotize and compel was a first for her to hear.

From there, Abel continued removing his clothes, and he even did it slowly enough that it was as if he was purposely stripping before her. Dani inwardly cursed as she quickly closed her eyes the moment he was about to remove the last piece of clothing covering his most private parts.

A few seconds later, she clicked her tongue in annoyance as her body stiffened the moment she felt the still water around her splash around, indicating that Abel had joined her in the bath.

"Why are your eyes tightly closed, wife?" her murmured against her lips, his warm breath brushing against her closely. "I won’t be able to do my work on you with your eyes closed, so open them up."

Damn, he was way too close that started contemplating if she should open her eyes in the first place. At this point, she might end up truly being hypnotized by him in another sense!
