The Emperor's Omega Is An Extra-Chapter 46: Levin
Chapter 46: Levin
Arren shook his hand, eyes shining as his heartbeats quickened. As soon as the car door opened, he stepped out of the car. He breathed heavily and smiled widely. This was what life felt like.
Seconds later, he calmed down and glanced at one of his bodyguards. The man in front of him wore a black suit, and his head bowed slightly. Arren raised his eyebrows.
"Are you new?" he asked. He seemed didn’t seen this one from his entourage before. Then as he glanced at the other one, it seemed... his bodyguards were all new? ƒгeewebnovёl.com
The bodyguard only nodded, not daring to look at him.
Arren crunched his nose slightly, did the training for bodyguards really this strict nowadays? Why couldn’t this bodyguard look at him straight? Not like he was some royalty. He was a noble, but his former bodyguards were still friendly.
He then glanced at the other one, and he was still the same as this one. Arren tilted his head; he couldn’t understand. He shook his head and didn’t mind the bodyguards anymore. Perhaps they were trained that way.
With that in mind, he pretended he didn’t see anyone following him as he strode to the school. He could get used to this feeling again.
"Oh, look’s here, our beautiful Arren." The raspy voice instantly reached his ears, Arren at the direction of the sound. There, Ramon, with a bunch of his friends, surrounded him.
Arren glanced at his side, his bodyguards not leaving him. He forced himself not to roll his eyes; he would never get used to this feeling. Still, he didn’t reprimand them. They were doing their job, after all.
Instead, he smiled at Ramon. A sly glint in his eyes made Ramon and even the friends surrounding him shiver in cold. Arren stepped forward to their position as Ramon even subconsciously stepped back.
He raised his brows, "What? Am I scary?" a mischievous smile played on his red lips.

"So tell me, what happened afterward?" Arren asked in a calm tone, and he leaned comfortably in his seat as he rested his feet on Ramon’s body. The beta slumped slightly on the floor and shivered in fright.
He coughed, "You’re really crazy. Damn, I told you, we were detained for an hour and then questioned about Ashton. I’m also grounded like you... I was also released last Friday." Ramon’s pitiful voice echoed.
Arren smiled and stared at Ramon, and his hair was disheveled as well as his clothes. As their eyes locked, Ramon even almost cried.
"Please, I really don’t know any information. Even if you torture me here, I still won’t give you anything. Fuck, can you stop that stare? I’m about to piss my pants."
A laughed escape from Arren’s lips; Ramon was too dramatic. After quite a while, he sneered. He kicked him in his stomach again, "Don’t overreact, not like I really kicked you hard." he rolled his eyes.
"Damn, you call that not hard? Are you really an omega? Damn, that punch and kick almost made me spew my guts!" He shouted, lying down on the floor. Completely unlike his cool demeanor.
Hearing that, Arren smiled sweetly. His delicate and beautiful face glimmered; anyone would be mesmerized. However, once they looked at the whole picture, the beautiful omega was resting his feet in the beta as though he was some kind of a bully. Even the bodyguards around them painted this future Empress of them in a new light.
All in all, his first day in school again after being grounded for almost three weeks went smoothly. Arren forgave Ramon, which he literally earned himself through blood and tears.
As he walked towards the parking lot, a bodyguard approached him.
"Young Master, this way." He gestured the other way. Arren looked in the direction he referred to, raised his brows, and glanced at the bodyguard.
"But this is the way to the parking lot, right?" Arren asked, confused.
The man nodded, "We are not going to the parking lot this time, Young Master."
"Oh? Then where we’ll be going?" he asked again, though he started walking in the other direction.
"Just walked straight, young master." the bodyguard simply answered.
Arren knitted his brows. Why the need for being mysterious? Still, he didn’t ask any more questions and stepped forward silently.
They soon reached the other side. He knew that the back gate was located in this direction. Though, it wasn’t often used. He saw five cars parked there; when he counted them with his eyes, he raised his brows slightly again. What was going on?
Arren stopped in front of the car in the middle as gestured by the bodyguards, and a man was also standing at the side. As he lifted his head and glanced at the man, Arren was startled at first.
The man’s imposing aura was no less than Spade’s. Though, Arren wasn’t attracted to his face that much as he quite liked Spade’s authoritative and dominant expressions.
Still, the man in front of him was undoubtedly an alpha, and a dominant alpha at that.
"You are?" Arren asked, his mouth faster than his mind. He didn’t know, but looking at the alpha in front of him, he had this sudden feeling that he should know this person.
The man smiled, quite respectful as well; however, he was more reserved than the other bodyguards.
"Young Master Arren, His Majesty would like to invite you to the palace. I’m here to ensure your safety along the way. You can just call me Levin." the man’s deep yet gentle voice reached Arren’s ears.
And as he processed them, his jaw went slacked as he stared at the man with wide eyes, "What? You are Levin?" he couldn’t help but shout.
Damn, THE Levin Ford? Arren didn’t even mind that Spade was inviting him to the palace as his mind focused more on the identity of the alpha in front of him.
Fuck, the male lead was in front of him. Arren’s mind suddenly went blank.
As Arren shouted the alpha’s name, Levin’s raised his brows, eyes full of unconcealed doubts. Seeing this, Arren had to shut his mouth instantly; he almost wanted to slap himself for that.
He couldn’t be blamed. Arren was really startled to meet this male lead all of a sudden. While he already accepted that this world was real and him being a part of it, his years of habits and views couldn’t be changed immediately.
After all, the one in front of him was the book’s male lead. The one he was supposed to avoid, but here he was, talking with him casually.
Arren almost sighed heavily in his mind as it appeared that his years of hard work and planning had all been for naught. He only wallowed from this realization for only some seconds before throwing them at the back of his mind.
Since he was already at this point, there was no use for hesitations. He would embrace it gladly, looking from another perspective, a seemingly smooth sailing life was also not that realistic.
He then blinked and gave a sweet smile to Levin. Yeah, he would get used to it... hopefully.
"Oh, I’m sorry," he started, spinning his mind for some excuses, "I was just not expecting you... since I heard from Spade that you are the Chief of the Royal Guards." He casually lied, even pulling Spade’s name into the conversation. Fortunately, Arren’s tone didn’t tremble.
And if anyone noticed how Arren called Spade by his name and without his title, no one batted an eyelid. As a result, even Arren failed to notice it as well. As though it already made sense for him to call the Emperor by only his name.
Arren didn’t leave his gaze on the alpha, without any malice or attraction, just full of curiosity. Levin didn’t mind. The alpha smiled, exposing his white teeth. If only Arren were any other omega, he would already be presenting himself to the alpha. However, Arren wasn’t. He only stared without blinking.
"It’s okay, Young Master Arren." Levin smiled. He opened his mouth to say something more but, in the end, closed them and didn’t continue.
As Arren was focused on the alpha, he noticed it. He suddenly became curious. What was it that even the male lead, which was characterized as decisive, was hesitant to ask him?
His eyes narrowed, something he unconsciously did. However, even now, Arren didn’t know how intimidating he was when his phoenix eyes seemed to give off a sly glint.
Levin even forced himself not to avert his gaze; an omega’s gaze even intimidated him, a dominant alpha. He now could understand the Emperor for being interested in the omega in front of him.
"What is it? You have something to ask me?" Arren asked, his tone sounding eager. He didn’t seem the one who was startled that he met the male lead as he casually talked to him. Arren was always straightforward in some ways.
They stood outside of the car as bodyguards surrounded them. Arren didn’t even bother himself to care. As they talked with each other at some distance facing each other.
Levin was somewhat taken aback by Arren’s question, then smiled as he shook his head. From Arren’s expression, the alpha knew he was anticipating an answer. As he thought that the omega in front of him would be his future Empress, he had to comply.
A ghost of a smile appeared in his eyes. It seemed like his Emperor really chose a very interesting omega.
