The Growth of a Titan-Chapter 445- How Is That Even Possible?
Chapter 445: Chapter 445- How Is That Even Possible?
After Sol used his room token to open the door, everyone pushed him aside and filed into his room.
Sol stood by the side of the entrance and scratched his cheek with a forced smile before entering.
"I can’t believe this! Why did you and Byeong-ho get such large rooms on the top floor when I barely got what resembles a room to sleep in on the bottom floor?!"
Sol heard Mar-Dule say after he entered the room.
Before they went to Sol’s room, they had decided to check out each other’s rooms. It was then they realized that each room was different depending on the floors below the deck. The lower they went the smaller the rooms were, and even if there was a large room on the bottom floors, it would be shared by more than one person.
They had just come from Byeong-ho’s room which was similarly on the top floor as Sol. And like Byeong-ho’s room, Sol’s room was large with a dining-like space in the middle with two separate spaces for one to bathe and sleep.
"Look at this washroom! It’s even bigger than the room I sleep in! We don’t even have washrooms down there; we have to use the public baths the Academy set up for us! Damn it, are they telling me to live like an animal for a month?!"
Mar-Dule was heard crying out in despair while inside the washroom.
Sol came by the door to glanced at him inside and said.
"I don’t mind having you stay over."
Hearing that, Mar-Dule suddenly spun around and stared at Sol with a fervent expression.
"Really?"
Sol nodded.
Mar-Dule was instantly elated.
"Haha! Since you’re offering then I guess I can keep you company!"
Mar-Dule stepped out of the washroom and patted Sol on his shoulder.
"*Snort*... How shameless."
Yoon-jae was heard saying as he took a seat on a chair nearby. Standing next to him as usual was Ushi.
Sol smiled at Mar-Dule before he turned to Yoon-jae.
"Are you going to stay here as well Brother Yoon-jae?"
Instead of Yoon-jae answering, Ushi was the one who hurriedly chimed in.
"I can get a room on the top floor if I pull some strings, so we’ll stay there... together."
By the end of his sentence, Ushi had turned from Sol to cast a sideways glance at Yoon-jae.
Yoon-jae folded his arms and said.
"What he said... ten points."
When Ushi heard Yoon-jae’s last mutterings, his expression lit up and he started doing some mental calculation that made him all smiles.
Meanwhile, Sol wondered why Yoon-jae didn’t get a top-floor room using his identity but decided not to ask in this situation.
"We’ll room with youngest brother so we’ll pass as well."
Cheong-su said for him and Cheong-san.
"If brother Sol doesn’t mind, I’ll stay with you as well."
Woo-seong said hesitantly.
Everyone turned to him and couldn’t help but sighed inwardly.
For some reason, the elder registering disciples entering the ship didn’t give Woo-seong a room token. He didn’t even glance at him.
Well, if one thought about it a little, one would be able to figure out why he was being given such treatment.
Sol smiled and nodded at Woo-seong.
"Our agreement for four weeks is up but I’d like to rehire you until we arrive at the Land of Shadows."
Upon hearing that, Woo-seong realized Sol had the intention of saying something similar even after they reached the Land of Shadows. He was just using this as an excuse to give him Aether Stones.
"Thank you, Brother Sol."
Woo-seong said gratefully and Sol patted his shoulder.
"So, what did you want to give us Sol?"
Mar-Dule suddenly asked.
Sol turned to look at him and could almost see drool forming at the corners of his lips.
Sol laughed and then walked over to the main table in the room next to Yoon-jae before waving his hand over it. With that wave, the room was suddenly filled with dense Wood Aether Energy and a sweet fragrance. Seven dazzling green fruits of varying sizes had appeared on the table.
The fruits that were already on the table in a large bowl paled in comparison to these. Byeong-ho, who had picked up a bright red apple from the bowl was on his second bite, but he suddenly stopped chewing when he saw those seven fruits.
With shining eyes Mar-Dule suddenly leaped over, however, Yoon-jae was closer so his hand instantly shot out and grabbed the biggest of the seven fruits.
Mar-Dule who just came up to the table had his expression go dark. That was the fruit he had his eyes on, and he couldn’t help but glare at Yoon-jae for picking it up.
Yoon-jae, however, ignored him and stored away the Life Essence fruit, not willing to start eating it just yet.
Mar-Dule snorted before hurriedly picking up the second largest of the fruits when he saw Woo-seong and the others making their way over.
"Brother Sol, what are these?"
Cheong-san’s Soul Energy was spread out in the room and his soul message echoed in everyone’s mind.
With a method like this, it was almost no different from him speaking normally. However, if it were anyone else, they wouldn’t be willing to have that person’s Soul Energy encapsulate them without blocking it out. But they understood Cheong-san’s situation, so they didn’t mind.
"It’s something that my Innate Dharma produces. I call them Life Essence fruits; everyone can have one each."
With that, Cheong-san and the others picked each of the Life Essence fruits at random.
The first one to take a bite was Woo-seong. His demeanor was casual at first, but the instant he took a bite his expression changed drastically, and he stared at the fruit in his hand in astonishment.
Of course, the taste was unlike anything he had ever tasted before, but that was overshadowed by what was happening to his second Wood-type Innate Dharma.
It was a small plant that was about a foot in height. It had become corporeal after his breakthrough into the Spiritual Realm, so it looked no different from a real plant with each detail clearly visible.
After he took a bite of this fruit, Woo-seong could see that several small dots like sparkling stars appeared on the leaves of his Innate Dharma. But not only that, he could sense that his Innate Dharma was... strengthening?
Sol who was observing Woo-seong the moment he took a bite of the Life Essence fruit had his eyes lit up when he saw Woo-seong’s change in expression. He sent him a secret soul message.
’Did it have any effect on your second Innate Dharma?’
Hearing Sol’s voice, Woo-seong snapped out of his astonishment and replied via soul message.
’Brother Sol, my Innate Dharma, it... it was actually strengthened. How is that even possible?’
