The Growth of a Titan-Chapter 476- Elder Hyun-joo’s Identity
Chapter 476: Chapter 476- Elder Hyun-joo’s Identity
Sol was the first to come out of the clothing store. After stepping out he examined his new clothes with a satisfied smile. He was wearing a sleeveless white shirt embroidered with golden threads. The buttons were undone showing off his abs. Meanwhile, his pants that were just above his knees were similarly white and had the same design as the shirt.
Before, when Sol was wearing Jianghu’s robes, he looked like a maturing young man. However, with these current clothes, he lost most of that mature look. Now he looked like any other normal fourteen-year-old child who was turning fifteen in about half a month, albeit an extremely handsome soon-to-be fifteen-year-old.
A few people passing by on the street couldn’t help but glance over at him with surprise. One young man who looked to be in his mid-twenties was so distracted he tripped over himself. The young woman who had been walking next to him didn’t even realize he had fallen as she was too busy being captivated by Sol.
The young man quickly came back to his senses after falling and hurriedly got up embarrassingly before pulling away the reluctant young woman.
It seems they were sibling as the young woman was heard saying while being dragged away.
"What a handsome child! Oh no, if only I had been a few years younger. Just who were his parents to have given birth to someone with his good looks?"
"Okay, be careful with your words. He must be from one of those cultivation Clans and we don’t want to offend him by accident."
The young man’s voice came right after.
Sol, who was busy admiring his new clothes, paused and scratched his cheek embarrassingly. Even without his projected senses, with his cultivation at the Earth Expanse Realm, it was easy for him to hear their conversation despite their hushed whispers.
But they weren’t the only ones, more people walking by were also making comments aimed towards him.
"Am I really that handsome?"
Sol mumbled to himself. He knew his looks were above average, but this was his first time having someone trip over when they saw him.
"Maybe it’s because of my clothes. The reactions weren’t this exaggerated when I went out with Mar-Yue in Martial Alliance City."
However, this was only the beginning. As Yoon-jae and the others stepped out of the store to come stand next to him, audible gasps were heard from the passing crowd.
Everyone was wearing similar sleeveless shirts and short pants as Sol. Cian’s shirt and pants were golden, complimenting his eye-catching golden mane and pupils. Yoon-jae and Ushi’s clothes were blue, while Woo-seong and Byeong-ho’s own were simply black colored. The two brothers Cheong-su and Cheong-san wore matching pairs of red shirts and pants. freewebnσvel.cѳm
Dae Han, who exited the store last, looked at everyone with a somewhat dazed look. He didn’t consider himself ordinary in appearance, but these eight before him made him feel quite inferior. The clothes they wore weren’t anything flashy and were instead very basic in design, but on them, it made them shine, more so with this dreadful sun’s rays shimmering on them.
The most eye-catching of the group was Sol and Yoon-jae, but perhaps between the two it was Yoon-jae that stood out. With his looks and his clothes, it made it hard for one to tell if he was simply a boy with good looks, or a girl dressed up as a boy. This caused the passing crowd’s attention that was previously on all of them to eventually drift towards him and linger. Both male and female were among the people looking.
Dae Han soon came out of his daze and approached everyone to say.
"It’s going to be a few days before everyone participating in the Two Continents Tournament shows up, what do you guys want to do before then? Lunar City is extremely big, so there’s plenty of things to try in the days we have."
Immediately after Dae Han said this, Woo-seong’s face turned ashen and he asked.
"Can’t we just go back to the floating island? The heat wasn’t so bad up there."
"NO! WE CAN’T!!"
Ushi suddenly blurted out uncontrollably, causing everyone to look at him completely taken aback.
However, both Yoon-jae and Sol knew why he reacted like that. They thought back to how they had managed to escape the island before encountering their third uncle master. But if they were to go back now and end up bumping into him... Yoon-jae and Sol both shivered despite the humidity.
"Why can’t we stay on the island?"
Woo-seong asked unconvinced.
"Uh..."
Ushi struggled to come up with a good excuse but after half a day his eyes lit up and he said.
"Since we’re going to be in Lunar City for most of the summer for the Tournament, wouldn’t it be best for us to get used to the heat?"
"That does make sense, but can’t we just stay on the island during our time here?"
Cian asked, making Ushi nervously fidget.
"Then... why don’t we visit my mansion? It has a beach since it’s next to the ocean so we can cool down by going swimming."
"Your mansion? Is it in Lunar City?"
Cheong-su asked confused.
"Hm, it is. We can take a teleportation array there."
"If it’s next to the ocean, then wouldn’t that mean Lunar City is at the edge of the Continent?"
Cheong-su asked again and Ushi smiled before explaining.
"Even though our Miura Clan is said to be at the center of the Land of Shadows, it doesn’t mean that in a literal sense."
"No wonder it took us a month to get here."
Sol said in realization.
"How about it, are you guys coming?"
Ushi asked again, and he seemed excited at the thought of having people visit his private home. He especially glanced at Yoon-jae.
Yoon-jae, seeing his look, recalled him mentioning he had a beach-side mansion when they first met.
Yoon-jae nodded and said.
"Sure, why not? Five points added."
Even more excited Ushi clapped his hands together and said.
"Okay, let’s go have some fun!"
"Since it’s just us we could drink the wine Brother Sol gifted us."
Byeong-ho said, and everyone looked at him a bit surprised he was the first one to bring up drinking, though they didn’t disagree with his suggestion.
As Ushi began leading the way, Sol smiled and thought about giving them his Immortal Wine at that time. He was about to mention this, but he thought he should inform Mar-Dule where they were going first.
However, as he was about to take out his identity disciple token to contact Mar-Dule, he received a message instead. Taking it out, Sol coincidentally saw that the message was from Mar-Dule.
However, as the message rang out in his mind, Sol’s heart sank.
"Brother Sol, please help me! Hurry, but don’t tell the others!"
The urgency in Mar-Dule’s voice caused Sol’s heart to start beating wildly in his chest. It took him everything he had to not show the sudden distress on his face.
"Guys, go on without me, I’ll eventually meet you all there."
"Huh? Where you goin-"
Before Yoon-jae could question him, Sol’s figure had already vanished from view.
After leaving the group Sol’s figure left blurred images as he sped down the streets of Lunar City. The people he past made surprise exclamations. Following the directions Mar-Dule gave him, he reached the residential area of the city a few minutes later. Sol soon stopped in front of a simple but elegant-looking courtyard. A wall surrounded the courtyard to keep out prying eyes, while at the front was a wooden double gate.
Sol’s senses spread out to check if this was the right courtyard and he confirmed it was after sensing Mar-Dule behind the gate. He was walking back and forth.
Sol, fearing the worst, rushed towards the gates, and not bothering to knock unceremoniously pushed them open.
Not even a second after his foot stepped into the courtyard, Mar-Dule swiftly appeared in front of him and grabbed his shoulders.
"Sol, help, I need your help! I-I don’t know what to do, I really don’t know what to do!"
Mar-Dule tall frame shook, while his expression slowly grew ashen from panic.
Sol had never seen Mar-Dule like this before and it caused him to become uneasy. He held Mar-Dule’s elbows and said looking up at him.
"I’ll help, just tell me what happened."
Mar-Dule seemed to be holding back tears as he gritted his teeth and asked.
"Do you remember the elder you fought in Pearl City?"
"Elder Hyun-joo?"
"Yes, her. Turns out she’s the youngest granddaughter of the Emei Sect’s Third Elder! I didn’t know, I really didn’t know."
More tears well up in Mar-Dule’s eyes as he continued to explain.
"The Third Elder of the Emei Sect and the Emei Sect’s Matriarch are sisters by blood. That means the Third Elder is Hua-yin’s aunt. Sol, we killed Hua-yin’s cousin."
