Chapter 635: The judgement

After enjoying the amusement park for 2 hours rather than one hour, Elliana looked at Sebastian with a big fat smile as they exited the area with their people smiling from ear to ear behind them.

Though the first roller coaster ride was enjoyed by their King and future queen only, when Elliana complained about not enjoying it alone, Sebastian actually ordered everyone who was there to join them.

Lucas and Ambrose weren’t fools. They knew their princess was doing it for them, and they couldn’t be any less grateful to her.

"Are you hungry?" Sebastian asked his wife, tightening his hold on her hands as he looked at Lucas, who nodded at him, a clear indication that the royal family called again.

"Aren’t we supposed to go to the royal family and meet them? Let’s do that first. If they offer us food, we will eat there, if not, there is always our chef uncle waiting for us at home," Elliana smiled, blinking her eyes innocently.

"Is there anyone who dares to not offer food to my wifey?" Sebastian smiled, loving the way how effortlessly she called the Black Skull Palace, the most feared area in the entire kingdom, home.

"Hehe, that’s true too," Elliana scowled.

"What’s wrong, Princess?" Sebastian asked as they sat in their car.

"Now that we are talking about food, it’s been quite a long time since I bit you," Elliana said with a sad expression as if she committed the biggest sin, and Sebastian chuckled at her before shaking his head.

"The slave is available 24/7 at your beck and call, madam. But I hope you are ready to return me some favor with what I would like to drink too," Sebastian said while Lucas blushed like a teenage girl at their boss and lady boss’s unfiltered flirting with each other.

"Shut up," Elliana blushed before placing her head on his chest and closing her eyes, wanting to sleep for some time in the safest place in the entire universe, her husband’s embrace.

After a ride of thirty minutes, they finally reached the royal palace and Sebastian looked at his wife who was still fast asleep.

He contemplated waking her up, but before he could even think of picking her in his arms, she opened her eyes.

"We are here already?" She asked before evening her expression and dress as soon as she stepped out of the car.

"Are you ready?" Elliana asked.

Sebastian looked at his wife who was nodding at him as if she was going to some mini battle.

He didn’t comment on that and just nodded, walking behind her as she led the way like the queen she was. His queen.

He looked at all the subordinates, his eyes with hints of red, immediately making everyone bow to his wife.

Elliana walked directly inside the royal palace, not wanting the guard at the entrance to announce her arrival.

The first person she spotted was Prince Marcus, who looked like he was going to his room.

As soon as Marcus felt the presence of his favorite female in the family, he looked up from the book he was reading and immediately smiled.

"Princess," he started, but the stern expression on her face froze him in his place.

Right. How could he forget why the princess was being summoned to the palace? Marcus cleared his throat and put the book on the first showcase beside him.

He descended the stairs, gazing at the maid, who immediately understood his signal to call everyone before looking at Sebastian who entered the palace right behind Elliana.

Marcus remembered what transpired between them the last time Sebastian visited them, and his eyes visibly cringed at the ugly memories.

Honestly, he was one of those people in the family who didn’t know who to side with. As much as he loved his brother, Angelo, what he did was really ugly. And to make it worse, he was even trying to bed Princess Elliana and used his own elder sister for the purpose. freeωebnovēl.c૦m

It wasn’t long before all the family members started to show up in the hall one by one.

"Princess Elliana, Sebastian, why don’t you take a seat and we can -" Grandmother Aubrey started with a smile on her face, but she was cut off by Elliana.

"I respect you, Grandma Aubrey, but I am sure you know how the situation is on our end. We don’t have time for pleasantries. Let’s discuss the matter as it is," Elliana said, making her husband realize that she was never here to sit and chat. She just wanted to deal with this constant summoning and Prince Angelo’s matter.

"Princess Elliana," Grandfather Abramo said, not liking the tone of the youngest member of their family.

Sebastian scowled and stepped ahead, his body heat almost engulfing Elliana comfortingly, a silent support to her and an indication that she didn’t need to be afraid of anyone while his red eyes were a warning to everyone. He might stay silent when they act unfair to him, but he won’t bear the same with his wife.

"Forgive me for my rudeness, Grandpa," She said before looking at Mom Freya, who has been quiet since earlier.

"I am not here to hurt anyone’s sentiments. Since I have been summoned in the name of you guys trying to find a middle way to save Prince Angelo from the ultimate punishment, I am here to vouch for justice, and on behalf of my group’s woman whom I promised I would protect with my life," Elliana said.

Stephano, who also heard Elliana was there, rushed downstairs, his eyes widening when he heard what she said.

In honesty, it was his duty to handle this matter since at that time Elliana was so badly wounded that she was taken to the hospital by Sebastian immediately.

When Stephano told Mom Freya about what happened, keeping the information minimalist, he could see that every word and crime in Angelo’s name was practically breaking her heart.

And it was the sole reason he kept the information about Angelo hurting his elder sister and torturing her when she was pregnant, hidden from the family.

It was also why had been calling them to talk to them when he heard they would be arriving today.

However, no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t reach them.

"Princess Elliana, can I talk to you alone for a minute?" Stephano said, and Elliana looked at him before shaking her head.

"I am just here to hear your final judgment for Prince Angelo. If it’s satisfactory enough, I would leave him under your care and trust your judiciary, but if I find it any less, I, Elliana Minerva Sebastian Marino, would take matters into my hands as the princess of the dark witch kingdom since his crime was directly against me and my family," Elliana said, clenching her hand by her side.

Sebastian looked at how his wife’s form was trembling when faced with his family, her soft spot for the relationships coming in between, and he sighed before holding her hand.

He had many ways to handle this whole thing, but since his wife wanted to do things her way, he wasn’t going to take the opportunity away from her.

Hearing her words, the elders immediately got angry. It was almost as if she was establishing her rank above everyone, and they didn’t like it.

"Princess Elliana, how can you say such cruel words?" Mia was the first one to object and Elliana looked at the man with a smile.

"I am sure the words are nothing in front of what your son has done. He could do everything, but go against my people. You might think of me wrongly, but I can’t accept this. Let’s hear your judgment," Elliana said, and Mom Freya immediately held Noah’s hand.

Santo looked at his mother who was trembling in his father’s hand as they were deciding the verdict of his elder brother and didn’t know what to think of it.

He always thought that though Princess Elliana was a bit unreasonable, she had some emotional intelligence, but it looked like his youngest brother ruined the girl too.

She was cold-hearted just like his brother.

"Please don’t take away my son from me," Mom Freya said, and Elliana looked at the lady who fell on her knees, her eyes turning emotional.

"I am not taking your son away from you. I just want to hear the judgment," Elliana clenched her fists harder.

Sebastian sighed and held her hands in his, prying her hands open. It was clear she was having a hard time being the bad guy here.

"We plead for mercy," Noah said, gritting his teeth.

"Even after all the crimes he committed?" Elliana asked, a little shocked.

"He won’t do it again," Noah said.

Elliana couldn’t believe her ears. She looked at Prince Stephano, who averted his gaze before she looked up at her husband, whose gaze was hard and unpredictable.

He was hurt.

She could see it. They never forgave him any sin, even when it was unintentional, but when it came to other princes...

"What do you want?" Elliana asked, and Sebastian looked down at his wife, unsure of what she was asking.

"You know I can’t see you sad," Elliana whispered before she raised her hand in the air and her personalized crystal wand appeared in her hand.

She raised that wand and slammed it on the ground, making Prince Angelo, who was tied to the chains, appear in front of them.

As soon as everyone saw Prince Angelo, they looked at Elliana horrified.

She wasn’t going to act on her words and take him to the witch kingdom, right? They feared.
