The Masked Vampire King's Accidental Bride-Chapter 692: Her anger
Chapter 692: Her anger
Sebastian took a deep breath to control his annoyance as he placed his phone near his ears.
Seriously, he almost felt like they were breathing after asking him only.
He came out of the Kingdom after a long time, and their calls did not stop.
"So? Should I sign it?" Prince Stephano asked after explaining everything to Sebastian, and Sebastian took a deep breath. He was contemplating asking his brother if he was the same person ready to take over the throne before him.
Why was he asking him such little things, too?
Sebastian massaged his forehead before humming.
"You should sign it," he said.
"If that’s all, I am hanging up. Don’t -" he couldn’t complete his sentence when Stephano interrupted him again.
"There is one more thing. Father Noah recently—" Stephano began, but before he could utter his next words, he felt his brother’s aura change during the phone call and couldn’t help but pause.
He furrowed his brows.
"Is everything okay? Where are you?" Stephano asked meticulously, and Sebastian sighed.
"Finally, you asked one reasonable question. One time, I come out of the kingdom, and you guys don’t stop with your calls. I clearly told Vincenzo to tell everyone that I won’t be taking any calls for the day, but I have received more calls than on an average day today," Sebastian said, his words clearly depicting his frustration.
Stephano chuckled at his brother’s annoyed voice before shaking his head.
"If you were busy, you could’ve just said so. Vincenzo didn’t tell anyone anything. He and Marcus went to god knows where. I have been looking for them. They say something about the witch thing, but it is hard to decipher because of the poor network. Where are you?" Stephano asked as he nodded at Desmond and took the glass of blood from the tray.
He took a sip of the blood, liking the taste of it.
He nodded at Desmond to tell him he was okay with this one before taking another sip.
"I am the one in the white witch kingdom," Sebastian said, and as soon as he said those words, Stephano spat the blood in his mouth, staining Desmond’s white shirt.
Stephano apologetically looked at his secretary, who sighed and went to change.
"What do you mean you are in the witch kingdom?" Stephano asked, and Sebastian shrugged.
"It turned out that way," He said before taking a deep breath.
Meanwhile, inside the palace, Ari walked to where the group was standing and laughing.
She reached there and chewed her bottom lip nervously.
"I hope I am not interrupting," She whispered, a bit scared that she wouldn’t be accepted into the group.
However, as soon as she said those words, Rebecca shook her head at her granddaughter. Though illegitimate, she still belonged to the family and wasn’t at fault.
Elliana, on the other hand, didn’t say anything and went quiet.
Azura looked at her daughter and seeing her concentrating on food and not saying anything, she couldn’t help but take a deep breath.
"Well, we brought a present for you, Ari. We were hoping to give it to you after the ceremony, but since you are already here, let’s do it," Azura said before she nodded at Nathaniel.
The man nodded back before he swirled his hand, and the present they had prepared appeared in his hands.
Elliana looked at the miniature ice castle situated between all kinds of beautiful and powerful crystals that actually held some Magna and nodded appreciatively.
It was really beautiful and well thoughtful.
"Thank you, Aunt Azura, Da- Father Eros, Brother Nathaniel, and sis- Elliana," Ari stuttered, almost speaking the wrong words twice.
She stepped ahead to take the gift from Nathaniel’s hand, but the man didn’t allow her.
"It’s very heavy. Why don’t you ask someone to take it to your room?" Nathaniel asked, and Ari nodded.
Arizona, who thought her daughter would feel left out and saw the family giving her such a beautiful gift, breathed a sigh of relief before taking a deep breath.
Two men walked towards where they were standing to get a hold of the gift and take it to her room.
"Please be careful," Ari said, and the men nodded their heads.
Nathaniel gave the gift to them with mixed emotions.
If it had been Elliana, she would’ve rather asked him to place the gift directly in her room. That was a sign of trust.
Then again, he couldn’t blame the girl for not trusting him. They did not exactly have the best interaction.
"I hope you are enjoying your day," King Eros said, feeling a little uncomfortable as he saw Elliana turning around and stuffing her plate with more food.
Seeing her father’s attention on Elliana even when he was talking to her, Ari felt a pang of jealousy in her heart.
"You don’t have to gobble up so quickly. The good isn’t running anywhere, Elliana," Ari said, and Elliana paused.
The tone Ari used on her wasn’t exactly amused or friendly and she took a deep breath.
It’s okay. She is the younger one. Elliana told herself before nodding.
"You are right. I will eat later," Elliana said and placed her plate on the counter.
As soon as she started to walk, Azura, who wasn’t satisfied with the fact that her daughter had to leave her food, glared at Arizona.
She couldn’t blame Ari for what her mother didn’t teach her.
Arizona gritted her teeth.
It wasn’t that big of a matter. Why were they acting like Ari cursed Elliana or anything? Just because she was illegitimate doesn’t mean whatever she did was wrong.
Arizona wanted to defend, but she didn’t want to spoil anyone’s mood.
She drowned her anger for her daughter who was looking at Eros hopefully, who was standing there awkwardly.
Elliana, on the other hand, suddenly started to feel tired. It was almost as if someone was draining her energy, and her gaze immediately turned to Luscious, the culprit behind it. fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm
"Don’t blame me. I just want to check a few things," He said before giving her energy back to her.
She was about to ask him what he felt about her powers and if she would be able to feel them anytime soon when the ear-piercing sound of glass breaking echoed in the hall.
The sound was so loud that it drowned the music, and everyone looked in the direction.
The two men who were taking Ari’s gift to the room accidentally dropped the ice castle, which broke into tiny shards, with the crystals scattered everywhere.
Ari, who also looked at the present, her first present from her father, was immediately filled with anger.
"I told you to be careful!" She shrieked in anguish.
Arizona stood from her place to calm her daughter’s anger, but it was too late.
"How dare you!" Ari used her demon’s fire on the two male witches in anger, and everyone gasped at the sight.
However, before the fire could even touch the two men, a large ice-impenetrable shield stopped it.
Everyone looked at each other in shock to see who was the one who created it.
But when their gaze landed on the person who created it, they stood there in shock.
It was Elliana?
