She had been her, and that was why he felt that kind of insane attraction to her. The moment their eyes met, he knew something was wrong with her. The way his heart skipped a beat, and he felt the spark, he thought she was seducing him.

However, how could he be so wrong? She wasn’t seducing him. She was probably here, sent by her family to remind him of the love he lost. That she was the solution to the loneliness he felt in his heart.

Lucas looked at the name he had carved in surprise. He had always wondered what the story behind the mark was. For him to do something like that, it should’ve been special, and finally hearing a piece of it, he didn’t know what to feel.

It was no wonder he had felt that connection with Elliana and fainted because of the pressure on his head when he had seen her for the first time.

What was going on? Why did he stop feeling everything? Even the voices in his head stopped. The voice and the image of Elliana he had been seeing in his heart stopped appearing. It was all empty and calm, the kind of calmness that made him fear the worst.
