A few hours later, just when the sun was beginning to set on Xeno, Scarlet opened her eyes. There was a spark in them, green in them and burning hot. Her energy had been fully restored and finally she felt normal again.

She sat up straight at once and like a dog, sniffed the air.

"Deity."

"Already gone."

Severus jumped onto the bed and looked over her face. She looked normal, he new normal her anyway, just more relaxed and seemingly less irritated or nauseous. In the last few days she had this look on her face as if she was in constant pain.

"Darkness and death were here. They didn’t do anything, I was watching." he jumped down as he told her this.

Then he walked over to the door and placed his paw down. It was scanned and the door slid open.

He looked back once and said to her, "If you plan to sleep on Xeno tonight then we should move. I can smell soul human energy feeders, many__, so many of them."

Scarlet could smell them as well. The stench was overwhelming and it got her wondering if this was not another condemned world. It was not much different from a demon infested one. Kind of like the Blue star and it’s many different demons.

She got up and lazily waved a hand over her body. A green bodysuit replaced the red free dress which she had been dressed in.

She moved a pinky finger and a long full body mirror was dragged in front f her. She looked at herself with an appreciative gaze, loving her look. "I love having these special powers. It’s like I can do anything I want."

"And yet you choose to use them to play dress up." Severus criticized.

She turned around and looked at her ass, shaking it a little bit with laughter coming from her mouth. Then she frowned.

"This won’t work, my belly is too big so my ass has shrunk. Look Severus, it’s practically flat like a wall."

"I don’t want to look at your ass." The hound made it a point to look away deliberately.

This would make much more sense if it hadn’t seen her naked when she was taking a bath. She rolled her eyes and waved her hand again. The green bodysuit turned into a long green silk full wrap dress.

"This is better, right? I think this is better. I just wonder why it has to be green. I think of a color, any other color but everything comes out green."

Severus took one small frustrated breath and decided to leave the room. If Apheitos were here, he would have exited the minute she started talking.

As he calculated, the moment he moved, Scarlet followed him, thankfully. But she was not silent.

"You know that I am not the reaper of this world, right? I don’t have permission to reap souls or eliminate soul eaters of any kind."

"You have the flame, nobody needs to know." he reminded her.

Scarlet’s eyes were glued on to Severus’s backside as he was in front of her. She giggled at the movement of his butt.

"Seby, I think your ass is now bigger than mine. What have you been eating lately?"

The hound turned his head back and growled at her.

"Sorry," she said softly. "Did you find hounds for the children or are you finally ready to discuss you making me a grandmummy by having little hound pups."

"Don’t even go there." he growled out.

"Should we send Flan back to Carnelia...or your mother? It’s probably going to be weird when we return and she looks at us like the biggest betrayers in the universe." Quickly, she moved on.

Severus could not help the snort which escaped from his nose. It was so strong that a little smoke accompanied it. He had told her to get rid of the female hound right from the beginning. Of what use was having her around if she couldn’t be trusted?

However, if they let go of her, she would surely be taunted by other hounds. It would be considered a failure of duty and hounds did not take duty lightly. It wasn’t her fault that her loyalties were divided. She had not been with them long enough.

"Don’t explain anything to her, I will handle it."

Scarlet was grabbed and pulled by Cecily as soon as she joined everyone else. They were all well dressed in their official Sun star bodysuits with cloaks and prepared to alight from the space ship.

"There you are. We touched down hours ago and we have been waiting for you. Are you okay?"

She nodded in response.

Adler draped a cloak over her and fastened it. It was a cloak with the mark of the Wu house. He patted her shoulders slowly and smiled. "You look really amazing. I don’t think I have ever seen you glowing this much. Wow, just wow...."

"What have you done?" Scarlet tilted her head to the right and asked.

That was one compliment too many. He was guilty of something and he was trying to butter her up before coming clean. When would he learn that this strategy never worked with her?

"Soooo..." he closed his eyes and dragged his next words out.

Celia couldn’t wait anymore. She wanted off the space ship immediately and it drove her to answer rapidly in Adler’s place.

"He sent a picture of you to your mother so now everyone in your family knows that you are pregnant. It was a mistake he didn’t mean to do it. We have really kept the royals of Xeno waiting. You can kick his ass later."

"I have pregnancy brain." Adler blurted out.

He stood there, looking very unserious as if he had just claimed something that made sense. It did not make sense in any way. However much the Sun star was advanced in technology, Scarlet had not heard of or seen a pregnant man. Adler made it worse by further defending himself and expanding on his ridiculous excuse.

"You are my sister and we share blood so we could share pregnancy brain."

Scarlet blinked thrice and shook her head. It was so funny for her to even get mad at him. It didn’t matter anyway if people found out now. She already had what she needed, power to protect herself.

Scarlet laughed softly and shook her head. Well, at least she had got a good laugh out of it.

"Do you believe me?" Adler frowned.

"Oh my gods!!" Celia exclaimed. She raised her hands in frustration. Of course nobody believed him.

Scarlet patted Adler’s right arm and nodded.

Then, she looked up at the nearest camera and instructed, "Alex, open the doors and do not let anyone other than those onboard onto the ship later on. If you sense or see intruders, stun them. Don’t kill anyone though."

Etienne was just about to step off the ship when he had Scarlet’s last instruction and he turned back with bewilderment in his eyes. The space ship could kill!!
