"Just a few more days" Mayeux thought to himself.

He just wanted to delay the matter.

Just for a few days. In the end, this matter would benefit the Kan.

That is why he took the risk of angering and even taking the risk of being executed for treason and hide this matter

He sighed.

Mayeux is probably the only person in Brolgadhr tribe that could think so calmly like this when he is being scolded by the Kan.

Aeryon wanted to ask why Mayeux remains silent even after knowing all of this.

But then he sees the calm expression on Mayeux face.

And Aeryon shook his head.

It was his son and grandson that expand his empire to exaggerated level. Genghis Khan ruled the world from the pain he had felt and he believes it is the right way of governing.

When one seeks power, then that would be the conclusion that they would eventually reached even more so in this world where the common people is very weak and their minds conquered by the rulers.

As for Aeryon, he is sentimental. He had to admit it.

He looks at Mayeux. He understand now why Mayeux hide it from him. And he could not help but sigh

"That’s why you hide it from me?" Mayeux sighed

Then he answered

"I must share the burden of my Kan" Mayeux said

Then he looks down and did not say anything else, like he is waiting for Aeryon judgment

For a long moment, Aeryon remained silent. The wind rustles his hair, the grass plays its song, the water on the pond ripples.

The news concern him and his family

Regardless of the play of interest between them, Garron is his father-in-law.
