Married For Now-Chapter 55: HARD LAUNCH
Chapter 55: HARD LAUNCH
AH, THE bandages are finally gone.
Sohee thought they would go straight to the jewelry store, so he was a bit surprised when Kim Heedo brought him to the hospital first.
The doctor then removed the stitches.
"My ear looks as good as new," Sohee said while checking his ear in the rearview mirror. Heedo and he were back in the car, and they were headed to the jewelry store this time. "Will it be too weird to send a picture of my healed ear to your mother, Heedo-ya? Mother-in-law feels bad that she wasn’t able to accompany us when we got my stitches removed."
"You don’t have to do that since we’re visiting my parents this weekend anyway."
"We are?"
"Oh? I forgot to tell you," Kim Heedo said. "We’ll pick up the rings today, and then we’ll visit my parents’ house this weekend because Shaman Jung will be there. He’ll put his blessings in our rings."
Ah, right.
Shaman Jung-nim also put his divine power in our earrings before.
"But if Hyung is busy, I can just go alone," Kim Heedo added. "I’m sure my family will understand since they want you to enjoy your university life."
"Nah, I’ll go with you. I want to visit your family," Sohee said, pausing for a moment. "And I have something I want to ask Shaman Jung-nim anyway."
I can’t seduce Heedo, so I have to find a way to keep my luck intact after the divorce.

THE JEWELRY store was already closed when they arrived there.
But the staff members welcomed Sohee and Kim Heedo warmly.
I guess they closed the shop to accommodate Heedo’s reservation.
But wow.
Heedo didn’t mention that he was talking about ’Fortuna’ when he said they were going to pick up their rings in a jewelry store.
’Fortuna’ was one of the biggest jewelry stores in the world.
And, now, Sohee and Kim Heedo were being treated like VIPs in the VIP Room.
The staff served them champagne and expensive-looking pastries.
No, we’re not being treated ’like’ VIPs— we are VIPs!
Sohee thought the sales associates probably knew that Kim Heedo was the grandson of the Ilsung Group.
After all, they were being treated well even though the two of them wore casual clothes.
It was so obvious that the two of them were college students.
Kim Heedo still looked expensive, though.
Even so, Sohee was worried that they might get snubbed before they arrived there.
I mean, I have this image in my head that sales associates for luxury brands are snobbish people who’d judge you by your outfit.
"Hyung, I would have just asked these people to bring the rings to us. But that would have made you uncomfortable, right?" Kim Heedo asked casually. It was obvious that he was used to this stuff. "So, I brought you here instead. Grandpa said we could choose the design this time. He also said that if you don’t have anything you like in here, then we can just order a custom ring from their jeweler."
"I’m not picky. I think I can pull off any design anyway."
"I know, right? Your face can pull off anything, Hyung."
Aigoo.
Sohee only said that because he absolutely didn’t want a custom-made ring.
I know Kim Heedo is rich as hell, but it’s still a waste to have a custom-made ring just for a contract marriage.
Anyway, if he didn’t know better, he’d think Kim Heedo was flirting with him.
"Do you have a design in mind, Hyung?"
"I’m not really stylish, so I leave it to you, Heedo-ya," Sohee said, pausing for a moment when he remembered something. "I just want to wear a really expensive ring. But since we’re in this store, my requirement has already been met."
He wanted an expensive ring so that he could sell it at a high price later, if he had to.
"You’re doing well, Hyung," Kim Heedo said proudly while nodding. "I’m glad that you want finer things in life now."
Sohee just smiled to hide his evil intentions.
Once you divorce me, my luck will plummet— so, I’ll make you buy me expensive things that I can sell later.
"Being greedy is the fastest way to get used to this life, Hyung."
"So, I’m being greedy?"
"In the best possible way, and I’m proud of you for that," Kim Heedo said, shrugging. "Hyung, I actually have a ring in mind. Would you like to check it out? It may not be the most expensive pair of rings in this store, but I think you’d like the design."
"It’s fine if it’s not the most expensive as long as it’s expensive enough to wow even rich people," Sohee said. "I know you wouldn’t choose a tacky design anyway."

HEHE.
Sohee couldn’t help but stare at his wedding ring.
It looked like an ordinary white gold band, but it was actually a high-quality platinum band. Plus, it was a fun ring.
Diamonds.
The inner side of the ring was actually diamond-studded.
"Hyung, do you like our wedding ring that much?" Kim Heedo teased him before placing the iced coffee that he ordered for Sohee on the table. "Should we take a picture of our rings?"
Kim Heedo then sat down on the chair across from Sohee, drinking the iced coffee that he ordered for himself.
After buying the rings, they headed to a nearby café.
"I don’t mind taking a picture of our rings," Sohee said. "Are you going to send them to Mother-in-law?"
"Eomma will see it if I post it on my social media."
"You have a social media account? In most dramas I’ve seen, the chaebol kids usually keep a low profile."
"Well, I hide the fact that I’m related to Ilsung Group. So, I don’t need to restrict my presence online. And having a social media account is good for making connections. You don’t have one, Hyung?"
"I deactivated all my social media accounts when the loan sharks started chasing me."
"You should make one again. Those loan sharks won’t bother you anymore."
"Should I?"
"You can post your arts on your social media account," Kim Heedo said encouragingly. "Han Raehyun is a famous social media personality. His art account has hundreds of thousand followers. Thanks to that, he gets brand deals from time to time."
Sohee’s ears perked. "Han Raehyun earns money from just posting his art?"
"Yes, and so does Hong Sera."
That was very interesting.
Of course, I know influencers are the new celebrities now. But I didn’t know I was surrounded by online celebs.
"Hyung, should I help you create your new social media account?"
"Sure. Then my first post will be the picture of our matching rings."
"I’m also tired of people asking me if I’m really married. Even people from other departments keep acting as if we’re close," Kim Heedo said while shaking his head. "So, if I post our wedding rings, maybe they’ll finally stop approaching me."
"Good idea," Sohee said, and then he teased Kim Heedo. "Maybe you should also post a pretty picture of me."
It was just a joke.
But Kim Heedo really posted Sohee’s picture on his Picstagram account with the caption saying: "My pretty husband."
Sohee, on the other hand, posted a picture of their hands— showing off their wedding rings— with a simple caption that said: "Mr. and Mr. HeeHee."
Yeah, I created our own ’ship name.’
Anyways, three days later, a post went viral.
A post by Lee Junsu and Sanha.
***
"SOHEE Oppa, have you seen Lee Junsu and Sanha’s recent Picstagram posts?"
Hmm?
Sohee was taking a break while having coffee with Hong Sera and Cho Euntak in the Webtoon Reading Clubrom when Hong Sera asked that question. "I don’t follow them on Picstagram, and I barely open my account."
"Look at this," Hong Sera said, handing her phone to Sohee. "Their latest posts."
The post Hong Sera was talking about was a picture of Lee Junsu and Sanha’s wedding rings from the two idols’ hit show ’Just Got Married.’
Lee Junsu’s caption said: ’Mr. and Mr. LeeLee.’
"Hyung, it’s almost the same as your caption," Cho Euntak said while also looking at the photo. "My cousin is a fan of Antiheroes. I heard her say Sanha’s full name when she was memorizing a fanchant. If I remember correctly, Sanha-ssi’s full name is Lee Sanha."
Ah, hence the ’LeeLee’ ship name.
"It’s not only Lee Junsu’s post that looks similar to Sohee Oppa’s post," Hong Sera said, and then she showed Sanha’s page. "Look at this now, Oppa."
Sanha posted a picture of Lee Junsu on his Picstagram account with a caption that said: "My pretty husband."
Ah, it’s similar to Kim Heedo’s last post.
Sohee shrugged casually. "It might just be a coincidence?"
Hong Sera and Cho Euntak replied with a ’meme’ at the same time: "Coincidence? I think not!"
Pfft.
Sohee couldn’t help but laugh because speaking like that didn’t suit Hong Sera and Cho Euntak who both radiated elegant vibes. "Hey, it doesn’t make sense to assume that Lee Junsu and Sanha are stalking us, you know?"
Right?
