Chapter 410: Meteor Shower

As I lowered the Iron Capital back to the ground, I not only had to support the weight of the city but also fight against the Earth Dragon’s magic, which kept pulling the city upwards.

However, when the other dragons interrupted their sibling while the two sages lent me their strength, it made the lowering of the city much more bearable.

Since Baelzor was dead, all of the ice knights that were fighting in the outskirts weren’t needed anymore, so Frost decided to leave his post in the backlines and help against the Earth Dragon.

When the city was placed back into its crater, the two sages and I stood at the top of the castle, where we tried to catch our breath.

Looking up, I could see Frost, Arashi, and Fuego flying all around the area as they fought against their sibling. Suddenly, the Earth Dragon started to fly away westbound.

"They are going towards Drakzen’s location..." I muttered, opening my void pocket and pulling out MP potions for me and the sages.

The potions helped me regain a lot of my magic power back, but they didn’t do anything with the stamina I had spent, so my body still felt pretty tired.

Nevertheless, the fight wasn’t over, and as I downed the last potion drop, I used my teleport spell to go back to the same place where I had been fighting Drakzen before.

"Heh, you are still conscious... You have my respect," Drakzen said with a smirk.

Right at that moment, the dragons clashed in the air above us, producing a massive wave of magic that landed around our location.

Rock spikes came out of the ground, making Drakzen and I move quickly as the Earth Dragon attacked indiscriminately.

Thunderous clouds formed above us, and the temperature got much colder—all of those effects being the power of the dragons.

Moreover, pillars of lava began to shoot up from underground to the surface, reaching heights of at least fifteen meters.

’I’m tired...’ I thought as I kept avoiding all of the natural disasters caused by the dragons.

Still, my focus was set on Drakzen, and as we landed on an open space that the dragons weren’t destroying, the devil laughed and said that he would have to use his personal army.

’What is he talking about...?’ I pondered.

Drakzen raised his arm in the air, and an ominous magic began to pour out of his body, producing hundreds of skeletal soldiers behind him.

They looked pretty creepy, but they also seemed like they would break with a simple kick, so I didn’t feel too threatened about his supposed army.

"Is this your desperate last resort or something?" I sarcastically asked.

When I detailed the undead soldiers a bit more, I realized that a lot of them were wearing armor from other countries.

I saw soldiers from the Droman Empire, Guanghua, and even undead beastkins from Kalusia, which I recognized from their tattered fur armor.

’Huh... suddenly, I don’t feel as tired,’ I thought, taking a deep breath and focusing on increasing my MP.

Drakzen grinned, asking me if I was serious. He probably didn’t expect me to use my awakening a second time in the same fight, but he should’ve thought of that before enraging me again.

Having a vast number of soldiers didn’t mean much when I could wipe them out with a single powerful spell.

The hardest challenge I faced when fighting random soldiers was holding myself back from killing them. However, now that they were all just undead skeletons, I let myself loose.

As my body awakened using gravity magic again, the invisible force around my body pushed everything away from me, including the snow particles on the ground.

Drakzen had at least two thousand skeletal soldiers behind him, but he must have known that none of them would be able to touch me in my awakened state, so he lunged himself at me.

Somehow, the devil’s movements seemed way slower than before, and as he rushed with a wide grin on his face, I took a step forward and appeared behind him.

Drakzen quickly turned around and waved his arm to punch back at me, but I pointed my finger and released a gravity blast that pushed him against a small hill.

Right at that moment, I looked to the other side and saw that the skeletal soldiers were advancing, so I grabbed my bo and stuck it on the ground like a spear before I flew a few meters upwards.

The bo began releasing waves of magical energy that had a purple hue on them, but all of the waves were pointed at the sky.

*BOM.... BOM....BOM...* The sound from the gravity waves reverberated like a bass drum, making the ground shake.

While I was in the air, waiting for my bo to finish the preparation of my final attack, Drakzen interrupted me and tried to claw me from the side.

Nevertheless, I whipped my head back and kicked him in the stomach, launching him towards his own skeletal soldiers on the ground.

"Drakzen... You look tired," I muttered.

The devil stood up, shook his head, and looked at me. It seemed like he was going to insult me, but his words were halted when he noticed the sky above me.

The clouds were breaking apart, and the sunlight was suddenly shrouded by large, flaming boulders that started to rain down.

"Wh-what is this...?" Drakzen asked. His eyes widened in surprise, but his mouth showed a grin.

"I call it ’Meteor Shower.’ You can’t wish anything from them, though..." I said, and even though my words were sarcastic, my tone was severe and indifferent.

Dozens of meteors were coming down on Drakzen and his undead soldiers, breaking the skies with their flames that looked strangely purple.

I knew that there was a time when a sage used a meteor to kill a demon in the country of Kalusia hundreds of years ago, so I always thought I could cast something similar.

However, instead of going for a single meteor, I just brought down every single asteroid that my bo could attract.
