The Crown's Seduction-Chapter 443: Unleashed Desire
Chapter 443: Unleashed Desire
Abel traveled in his mist as soon as he wrapped things up in the kingdom. Around dawn, he arrived at the fleet where Dani was currently onboard.
"Looks like you traveled as quickly as you could, Chancellor," Sixto teased him.
"And it looks like you’re following someone for you to take charge of a leisure fleet in this voyage," he scoffed back, making Admiral Sixto laugh. It was well known in the kingdom that many young high officials were vying for Lady Zaila’s attention, and Sixto was one of them.
"Well, I’m just taking all the advantage I can get," Sixto snorted.
Shaking his head, Abel didn’t waste any more time and asked the Admiral where Dani’s cabin was. As soon as found out, he turned into a mist and went inside it without a care for her privacy.
As he expected, Dani was already up and ready to go out to probably watch the rising sun while having breakfast. He smiled as he saw her frowning. She probably felt his lingering presence already. As such, Abel quickly materialized into his human form and leaned against the door while sporting his usual roguish smile for her.
Predictably, she turned to his direction and hissed, "Damn it! Why are you always invading my privacy? There’s a door for a reason. Can’t you at least knock before entering like a normal person?!"
He grinned as he playfully knocked on the door. He loved how she just rolled her eyes at his blatant disrespect for her. ’How come she looks adorable in every expression she makes?’ he amusingly thought.
"What if I was naked? Do you think it’s appropriate for you to just appear like that?" she scolded, still wearing a disgruntled expression.
Ignoring her irritation, Abel teasingly remarked, "I’d probably linger around in my mist form and have a peek." Closing the distance between them, he then pulled her closer and added with a smirk, "Now, come on. Let’s have breakfast." freeweɓnovēl.coɱ
Somehow along the way, Abel had already made a reservation in advance at a dining place located at Ebodia port recommended to him by Dani’s mother. It had a nice and spacious balcony with a beautiful view of the vast ocean ahead. He had instructed the owner that he wanted something like a picnic set up with a fireplace to keep them warm. It was winter, after all, though snow had yet to arrive at Ebodia.
Ignoring her protests, Abel casually took her by the hand and magically led her to their meal with comfortable seats on a soft blanket by the fireplace. He then filled her plate with delicious food and handed it to her.
"You’ve made remarkable improvements in your mist form," she remarked. "I didn’t feel dizzy at all."
"I’ve been practicing extensively. You refused to travel in my mist form because of how rough the ride was, so I asked Lord Fritz and Queen Mother to train me further," he replied with a smile. "I’m glad that you find it comfortable now. You no longer have to sail for days and can simply tag along with me from now on."
It was true. He had put a lot of effort into his training. He even took time to bug Lord Fritz in the little free time he had to help him manage his mist form to make it smoother and more comfortable for others.
Back in the present, Abel intently stared at Dani as he tried his best to understand what kind of feelings she had been evoking out of him lately. She grabbed some bread and started munching on it. She then looked at him with a puzzled expression and asked, "What?"
"What?" Abel questioned back with a satisfied smile. He loved how she was obviously getting affected by his stare alone.
"It just feels a bit strange having you watch me eat," she pointed out. "Don’t you want to eat too?"
A mischievous grin formed on Abel’s lips as he directly replied, "Oh, I do want to eat you..."
It was not a joke at all, and Dani suddenly coughed, making Abel quickly hand some water over to her. Drinking it all in one go, she shot him an incredulous glare that he promptly ignored as he gently patted and stoked her back to make her feel better.
"I absolutely won’t let you feed on me!" she firmly declared, even going so far as to cover her neck protectively with her hand.
Abel couldn’t help but chuckle at Dani’s reaction. He leaned in slightly, his eyes sparkling with mischief, and said, "You’re so adorable, Dani. Anyway, aren’t you curious as to why I arrived early when I told you I’d probably be at your manor tomorrow evening?"
As usual, he had to divert the topic from how he wanted to actually eat her. Clearly, he wasn’t referring to her blood, but it would be best for her to think that way instead of letting her know how much he wanted to take her right then and there.
"Why are you early then?" she casually asked.
"I just wanted to be with you. I worked as fast as I could to wrap everything up at the palace before rushing here. Our wedding is in two days, and you mentioned before that you’d like to explore more of Ebodia since you missed so many places here," he explained with a wide smile. "After the wedding ceremony, we’ll have to head back to Valcrez. So today, I’ll be your ride and take you wherever you want to go."
Dani stared at him, and she was probably not aware that it was also distracting him from concentrating on his control. Those fiery dark brown red eyes of hers turned warm towards him along with her red parted lips.
"I think I’ll melt soon if you continue gawking at me, Dani," Abel teased while trying his best not to follow his instincts of taking her into his arms and kissing her. "Please wipe away your drool."
"Drool? What drool? I’m definitely not drooling!" she protested, hastily reaching for a piece of cheese.
Abel did his best to control himself even as he leaned in closer to her till his breath fanned against her face. "So, tell me where would you like to start our day?" he seductively hummed. "I’ll be at your service all day and night..."
"Back away... You’re too close," Dani muttered, her warm breath hitting his lips. "I can’t breathe, Abel."
As was expected of him, he ignored her personal space as he stared at her with eyes drowning with unleashed desire. Eventually, his gaze went down to her parted lips, and in one swift move, he closed the distance between them, pressing his lips firmly against hers.
