The Masked Vampire King's Accidental Bride-Chapter 621: In trouble again
Chapter 621: In trouble again
Prince Angelo found it hard to believe. Every word the witch was saying was like cutting deep into his heart because he didn’t expect to be fooled to this level.
"The only reason we used you was to distress Sebastian and Elliana and infiltrate the vampire Kingdom with your knowledge of everything. And now that we have taken what we needed, you are that rag doll that we don’t care if it gets mutilated or thrown," The witch said, not at all holding back, and Prince Angelo gritted his teeth.
Elliana didn’t say anything. She kept looking at the man, a little mockery in her gaze, making him feel even worse than he already was.
"Now that we know the truth, let’s get down to your punishment, yes?" Elliana asked as her eyes turned violet.
She walked to the witch who trembled in her place.
Elliana grabbed the witch’s hand, who looked at her, shaking her head when she realized what the girl was doing.
"Absorben," she whispered as she started absorbing all the Magna from the witch, making it writhe in pain.
"No! Please. It wasn’t my plan. I swear it’s not related to me. Please forgive me," The witch cried in pain, trying to push Elliana away from herself, but Elliana didn’t budge from her place.
Elliana didn’t want to do it, but she had been sympathizing for too long. Now it was time for her to retaliate too.
With her eyes turning completely black as she kept sucking the Magna from the witch until her body went limp and fell on the ground lifelessly, Elliana finally took a deep breath.
The Magna that she absorbed from the witch was akin to the Magna of 50 witches since she absorbed her Magna till her last breath.
She looked at her hands, feeling a bit weird because of the dark and impure Magic flowing in her veins that Circe was trying to mend with its own energies.
"Mmm,"
Elliana heard Glow making a sound and she looked up at her vampire lady who walked back to her and hugged her like she was her emotional support. All her doubts left her body, and Elliana smiled in relief when she realized that the baby in Glow’s belly was fine too. Her eyes went back to normal as she nodded to herself.
"I am glad that nothing happened to you," She whispered softly.
"Let’s deal with you, shall we?" Elliana gazed at Prince Angelo, who looked at her father, not so fearless anymore.
"What do you mean let’s deal with me? Have you forgotten who I am, Princess Elliana?" Prince Angelo started playing the family card, and Elliana hummed.
"I know exactly who you are,"
Meanwhile, at the same time, Sebastian dropped Marcello at the hospital and left Ambrose to take care of the man along with Elliana’s mother, Azura.
He immediately rushed to the southern suburbs, thanks to Azura’s teleportation who immediately sent him to the site without a delay.
As soon as he reached the place, he saw the rogue vampires dominating Prince Stephano’s team, and his gaze darkened.
"You couldn’t hold a minute without me, hmm?" Sebastian walked ahead in slow yet powerful strides.
"You are here," Prince Stephano immediately said, sighing in relief as they saw one man whom the rogue vampires were useless against.
Along with him, Nathaniel who had been using his magic to remove the magic from all the swords and weapons the rogue vampires brought, sighed in relief as he was finally able to complete the chanting spell.
As soon as the spell ended the swords that were glowing earlier, turned dark and melted right in the hands of the rogue vampires who threw the handles away, baring their teeth at the men, who were bleeding profusely.
One of the rogue vampires rushed to West, who already had two bite marks on his hand.
"Not so soon," Sebastian used his vampire speed and twisted the neck of the rogue vampire, making the vampires look at each other.
They knew who this man was.
And the thought that the untamed King who also drank vampire blood was here, they didn’t know if they would be able to win anymore.
"What happened? Why are you guys not attacking anymore? Hmm?" Sebastian stepped ahead, plunging his hand straight into one of the rogue vampire’s chests as he pulled his beating heart before grabbing another rogue vampire.
"You love feeding on helpless vampires in the middle of the battle to regain your energies, no? Eat this" Sebastian pushed the beating heart into the mouth of the rogue vampire.
Let alone the rogue vampires, even his brother, and his team were disgusted by what their King was doing, and they cleared their throats, looking away slightly.
"What are you guys waiting for? Do you have all the time in the world for this? Because of your incapability, my wife has to work even when she is healing, and don’t blame it on witch stuff," Sebastian said, his voice cold.
Prince Stephano looked down at his feet, feeling slightly ashamed.
He knew Elliana was in no condition to move and fight back people because of how she was using her magic again and again, and it was bringing her closer to death. This time, she had to go and use her magic again because their brother captured their own sister for his evil intentions.
"Everyone, attack!" Prince Stephano said to his team, and everyone, irrespective of whether being wounded or not, immediately started attacking the rogue vampires, who were now being dominated by the soldiers as their swords turned useless and King Sebastian was here to ensure they didn’t get to feed on any vampire.
After what felt like an eternity but was only a few minutes, they were able to tackle the rogues and the soldiers nearly howled in joy.
However, one look at their king’s face and they knew not to make a sound.
Sebastian wiped his hand on his handkerchief before looking at Lucas, who rushed forward with a bottle of water and helped him clean his hands.
"What is it, Sebastian?" Prince Stephano asked his brother, knowing all too well something was bothering him, judging from the look on his face.
"Something’s amiss. These rogues weren’t here for nothing. If they really wanted to harm us, they wouldn’t have come in such a small number. My guess is they were here just to distract us. But why? What would they gain by distracting us?" Sebastian asked before he paused.
They were distracted here and in finding Duke Marcello, Elliana was distracted in finding Glow and Prince Angelo. They were the only two people that the witches had most danger from too, and if they were indeed distracting them, what could their intention be? What were they -
Realization dawned upon him and he looked at Lucas.
"Call the soldiers at the caves," Sebastian said.
Lucas immediately understood what his King was trying to say and pulled out his phone, his brows furrowing when he realized that his call was ongoing with someone.
But he didn’t make any calls to anyone... Then how? Luca’s eyes widened when he saw 7 missed calls from the soldiers who were guarding the caves.
"Sir, this is bad," Lucas said.
Sebastian immediately nodded at Nathaniel, who teleported them to where the caves were to save their time.
As soon as Sebastian and others reached there, they saw the Soldiers tied on the other side of the caves in Magical ropes, their beaten form a bit too unpleasant to look at.
Sebastian didn’t need to walk inside the caves to know what happened, and he gritted his teeth.
So this was what everything was for. It was the ultimate goal those witches wanted to attain.
Sebastian massaged his forehead.
"She is really gone. H-how could this really be? You said that you will take care of things. How could your people make this mistake? Do you not know who that witch will target now that she is out again?" Nathaniel ruffled his hair angrily, feeling helpless as he remembered Elliana’s condition when that witch got hold of Elliana the last time.
It was merely a coincidence and luck that Sebastian was there who quickly took matters in hand, but now...
"We need to rush to Elliana first," Nathaniel said and Sebastian nodded.
However, before they could move, they heard her voice.
"You guys don’t need to rush anywhere. I am here," Elliana appeared right in front of them, throwing a tied-up Prince Angelo in Sebastian’s foot as she looked at the tied-up soldiers with her lips pressed into thin lines.
She knew something was wrong and she was missing something from the very beginning, but even she couldn’t pinpoint what it was in her hastiness to save Glow and protect her baby.
"Have you guys lost all of humanity?" Elliana muttered before she walked to the soldiers.
She looked at her father who immediately used his magic and the ropes came undone.
"No one died, right?" Elliana asked the Soldiers, who whimpered on her foot.
"We are sorry, Princess. Please forgive us. Those witches acted like King Sebastian, and he was getting beaten up. We couldn’t... We didn’t..." Tyson started, but the girl took a deep breath before lifting his face as he placed his head on her foot.
"Don’t fret it. We will find a way. You did a good job," Elliana said to them, and seeing his woman consoling his people even when she knew she was in deep trouble, Sebastian felt his heart clench painfully.
