Chapter 419: Who Are You?

Aeryon believes that the Kazan ancestors is trying to instil this identity of Kazan and that their ancestors have great ambition

After all, if stories are to be believed, the Kazan was once the Qayan of the South.

It is a pity that the descendant of the Kazan failed to capitalise on what their ancestors had given them into a single platter.

Since they came from the same roots, they could have engaged in gentleman dispute and destroy their enemies, allying with each other to destroy the other tribes

but instead, they plotted against each other endlessly allowing people like Dama and him to take advantage of all of this and bring them down.

Even after he had taken Wustkazan, there is still people that is flying the banner of Wustkazan resistance

So, it could not be said that the effort of the Kazan ancestors is not paying off. But they would surely be disappointed by their descendants

And these warriors of Wustkazan is not playing around. If Aeryon let down his guard then he could really be defeated by this guerrilla forces.

That gives him some headaches because he has not been sleeping. The cause is none other than these attacks.

Also, because he himself insist to want to go to the front line

He wanted to convince these warriors that they would be safe if they surrender.

Especially, Xiwanu, Lughan, Cahya and Chulun. freeweɓnovēl.coɱ

There is also that warrior that uses his spear.

It reminds him of Burchu.

Aeryon did not have much information about that person wielding the spear

These talents keeps him awake. Fear of missing them

Yes, it is true his stamina is above any ordinary warriors and his drive and motivation is also higher than anyone else

Especially after the victory. It is like he is high in winning and everything about his emotion is heightened

But... even that has a limit.

Three days of no sleep with intense fighting at night does put a toll on him.

And even now as he is reading the military report, he is yawning and his eyelid is quite heavy.

"Every chief in the Southern Great Steppe probably could not believe what is happening." Even Aeryon, even after reading the report still find it unbelievable. It is like hearing the tall stories of the storytellers

Bolghar is defeated in one battle. Even in this wildest dream he never thought these could be achieved.

Mayeux plan would at least destroyed fifty percent of Bolghar forces and that is him being optimistic.

Mayeux plan is also ingenious if it could be implemented.

If they succeed in putting the man around the roads of the valley then they simply need to harass and attack Bolghar forces before dispersing them and taking the clans and the tribes that swears loyalty to them

That was the plan.

It was never to defeat them in a single battle.

The plan was not to Defeat them so hard that they have no chance of regrouping. Because that plan is impossible.

The plan was to take them piece by piece, meal by meal

But because of Valgrun method, the Bolghar tribe is erased in one battle.

Such thing...how could it not shock everyone? It is estimated that Valgrun would be famous all over the Great Steppe

The vacuum of power in the area ruled by the Bolghar is quickly taken by Khagai tribe.

If even he who reads the report and have the account of Burchu and Mukhulai feel like this battle and the outcome is absurd, how could others who did not have such report would feel?

The west is decided just like that. Some people would surely become impatient after this. And Cha Ner Ul now had no choice but to keep fighting and their fight have bear fruit

"The West has been settled for now. But a new enemy is now coveting it" he mutters to himself but the smile did not leave his face

He expected an even harsher challenge than what he is facing now so he is not afraid at all

In a week that passed since the fall of the Bolghar and Wustkazan, there is also another change in the west

Cha Ner Ul Alliance has defeated the Haltur tribe. One would thought that after they take down the Haltur tribe, they would stop

No, this time, they did not stop

Instead, they proceeded to pounce on the Burka, Ino and Gir tribe.

These three tribes are on the verge of collapse and it would not be long before they would fall

Aeryon suspected that tomorrow he probably would get news that these three tribes has fallen.

After all, just a few days ago he got the report that these three tribes is already stretched too much trying to defend their area

It would only take time before they have to shrink the defense line and choose whether to fight to the end or surrender.

The fall begins with the Ino tribe decision

Ino was attacked by Ultar tribe

The Ultar tribe attack Ino tribe because they wanted to force Ino tribe to leave the battlefront where the Haltur and the Chagai tribe is fighting

Ino tribe could not just ignore what happen and so they return

But even after the Ino tribe return back to their settlements from the front line in Haltur, they still could not repel the Ultar tribe.

Since Ultar found out that Ino tribe is not as strong, they advance and Ino tribe falls in just a few days.

There is resistance but many more bend their knees and bow their heads

Ino tribe conquered and after that Haltur tribe was also conquered by the Cha Ner Ul Alliance.

The road to Burka tribe and Gir tribe is then wide open and the Cha Ner Ul horses ride toward these two tribes like an unstoppable storm.

Ultar, Nergui and Chagai tribe forces bears down on them like a catastrophic storm that uproot every existence.

Right now ,most of the small tribes in the area that once belong to those three tribes that did not want to surrender to Cha Ner Ull Alliance fled to Duhai tribe and Zlata tribe.

And now Duhai and Zlata tribe also did not shy away from accepting these tribes, clans and warriors into the fold.

If they managed to take all of these and consolidate their forces, the Alliance of Cha Ner Ul really have the capital to compete for the west.

In the past such quick expansion and such close proximity with his allies would make Aeryon a little panicked.

But now, he is not worried at all. Instead, he wanted to see what Cha Ner Ul plan after this. And more importantly how they would solve the issue of rewarding.

The war and battle is over.

And since it is over, it is time to reap the reward of such a great battle.

The thing about alliance like this is that in times of danger they could be united.

But when they are prosperous, sometimes they forget certain thing that should not be forgotten in front of benefits.

Chada is a person who could see far into the future and he has a grand vision.

But what about the other two?

When there is benefit in front of them could they care about the grand vision of Chadha. Sometimes, what is worse than a strong enemy is a stupid ally.

Aeryon would wait. If Cha Ner Ul Alliance takes the Gir and Ino tribe then they probably would not expand anymore.

That is already the limit for the current Cha Ner Ul alliance.

They need to rest and they need to decide who gets what.

Aeryon himself is not keen in starting a war with the Cha Ner Ul right now.

Valgrun and Cha Ner Ul Alliance would probably fight later.

"Will Khagai change his intention now that he could become the hegemon of the west? Or would he still bow to me?" this is something that he thought about

Mayeux himself had proposed this doubt before.

Aeryon had done everything he could to help the Khagai tribe.

But Mayeux does question, does helping Khagai tribe to this extent would really help them? Or are they just raising a tiger that will bite them back later?

As to this question, Aeryon believe he only need to wait.

Aeryon is not like Cao Cao. But to say he is like Liu Bei is not a fair assessment of his characters.

Aeryon himself knows that he is not mature enough yet.

Maybe, he did not suffer so much yet, and his journey has been smooth, regardless of a few setback that did not change much of his plan and that is probably also the reason why he seems quite naïve in certain approach

Maybe, it is because of this that he could still maintain a somewhat trusting nature.

Aeryon remembers that Genghis Khan in his youth lose many times. He is a great conqueror, yes, but he is not undefeated.

Instead, in his youth, there were many times that he fail and got beat down only to rise again later.

It is only in his middle age that he truly learns from all of his failure and begin conquering the world.
